YOU NEED..

THEN..
install flashtool then open it
copy your ftf file into smething like this "by default installing" C:\Flashtool\firmwares
turn off your device then hold volume down while connect USB to your device
flashtool will tell you if it know your device
then press in flashtool first button seems like lightning
select flashmode then select from a device column "c6903"
then press flash..
it may take sometime
after finishing
click on BLU button then click on relock
then
just unplug your device and turn it on
your device is 100% stock..:good::good:
This does NOT relock the bootloader!
Dial *#*#7378423#*#*
Goto software info and configuration.
The last line will still say
Bootloader unlocked: yes

sorry..
I just forget on more step which is BLU button
But if you want to do that, you do not need to do any of the previous stuff,
Just clicking on the BLU and choosing relock is enough....
If you have a stock kernel there is no need to do all the previous stuff
If you are on a custom kernel, then you need to flash a stock FTF to get stock kernel and stock system back, otherwise, just clicking the button is enough..
Too much...

How do you know if your bootloader is unlocked,does it show some kind of logo or text.I can remember on Motorola it would say bootloader is unlocked on start up.

1) Turn off and remove battery
2)Put the battery back in and immediately hold the back button
3) Plug in the USB cable while still holding the back button
4)Your screen will remain black, but its in recovery mode, and the flashing software should detect it
Source: Sony Update Service, I installed it and it told me to do just that to get into the recovery mode
Looks like were one step closer into getting the X10 rooted
I'm afraid this doesn't work

It does - it just doesn't display the things we are used to with HTC phones for instance.
This is SE's standard flashing method(and recovery mode). It's the same for their WinMo phones and for Symbian.
It puts the phone in a special flash mode ready to accept a new ROM/flash.
As OP mentioned the screen will remain black throughout the process.
shud try fastboot when its in flash mode..
Code:
fastboot devices
or
Code:
fastboot boot randomrecovery.img
worth a try aint it!?

Yes. You can backup sms from the Messaging application by pressing the menu-button while in thread mode. And use MyBackup to backup settings, apps and everything you need on the SD-card or online.
Would this still work if the phone isn't being recognized by the computer? (correct drivers etc are installed).
I have an xperia Ray, so I assume it's the same method... I get no response from plugging it into usb or charger, it won't turn on, although sometimes if I hold the power button it gives a brief vibration. I think it might be bricked :-/
This tutorial will fix your unlocked Phones which got bricked through OTA update and are dead now!
I have Xperia neo v i unlocked its bootloader unofficially from s1tools,
When i updated the phone through wifi, it wont start then i made this
trick to unbrick the phone..!
Step 1: Download s1tools here and extract.
Step 2: Remove your phones battery and reinsert it.
Step 3:Open s1tool and click on identify now connect your phone and follow the instruction
(For NEO V press and hold back button and u will see the following message as shown in screenshot)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Step 4: When u got above message click on 'RESTORE' when the restore process completes remove the cable and reinsert your phone battery.
Step 5: Downlaod flashtool here and 4.0.2.A.0.62 Firmware here and extract it.
(Note:for flashtool tutorial click here)
Step 6: Flash the .tft file according to the tutorial and restart your phone, your phone will definitely start
(Note: After restoring, your phones bootloader will be locked, again u have to unlock to install custom kernels or roms.)
Weird the only thing that shows up are the two boxes, (left,right). as far as buttons go you only get "Do Job, stop, quit". Looks nothing like what you have posted..
the flashtools is aborting.. stating to turn on usbdebugging and unknown sources
Simpler...

Hi,
This will fix your unlocked Phones which got bricked through OTA update and are dead now!
Please download this package:
http://www.multiupload.com/Q103V01CV1
Let it extract to a destination of your choice.
After that run Flashtool.exe.
Now hit the button FLASH and select the package which is included.
Follow the steps and connect your phone in flashmode. This is the same mode Pc Companion and SEUS uses to flash your phone to newer firmare (Indicated by green LED), if you got BLUE LED you are in the wrong mode!
Flashtool will now detect your phone and start the repair.
After all is done your phone should be up and running again.
ADVICE:
PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OTA'S ! If you receive a OTA message just decline, if you accept it you will end with a brick AGAIN! So please do NOT accept them until SonyEricsson provides a OTA solution for unlocked Bootloaders!
Best Regards
Team FreeXperia

So you've tried this unbrick method?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2072732&highlight=unbrick
If that doesn't work, you're in the line of people with similar problems, looking for a way to restore bootloader with nvFlash.

Try and look in any of these threads and see if you can sort something out:

Sounds like you may have to reflash a complete stock factory image, including your bootloader. Those threads should be of help.

You should start over completely and make sure you have the right factory image and that all partitions are formatted etc. Start getting it to boot with stock image and locked bootloader, and take it from there.

It is still locked or you don't the false, false, false? After oem info it said failed and then try flashing twrp makes no sense
Reflash stock fastboot rom with miflash or use a deep flash cable. And then unlock it correctly
If nothing works you have to open your device and use testpoint method.
really nothing works.
miFlash gives me an error in red.
I already tried with the flash cable qualcomm but the phone when it vibrates it displays the MI logo and is off.
I tried recovery twrp.img but still the same error message
Method MiFlash:
Rom FASTBOOT for Redmi 4 prime: markw_global_images_V8.5.4.0.MBEMIED_20170925.0000.00_6.0_global

Fastboot method won't work as your bootloader is locked. Try with deep flash cable or test point method.
Trying to flash twrp also not gonna work.

I tried the deep flash cable:
click on the + and - button of the volume
plug in the phone and click on the button of the deep flash cable until the phone vibrates ... except that ... when it vibrates it displays the MI logo and ends ... but it is visible on the manager peripheral

My oem unlocking option is grayed out...earlier i have tried to unlock my phone that time i am able to turn the oem unlocking option on but due to some problems my phone got stuck in the boot screen ...i gave my phone to service centre after i got my phone i saw that my oem unlocking option is grayed...now what to do? I am usi]ng moto g5 plus please help!!
The only reasons OEM unlocking is grayed out is either you are already unlocked, or they installed an engineering bootloader... Better hope it's the first one, because if it's the second your in trouble. What is the output of "fastboot getvar all" (and mask out your IMEI)?

It's a temporary bootloader used by Moto Support/Repair and service centers when flashing back to stock after a failed update or corrupted ROM for some other reason, it allows them to unlock the device at a deeper level than normal, flash what they need, then relock the bootloader without tripping the warranty flag, then restore the stock bootloader.
It has happened a few times where a device has gone out with a Engineering bootloader (google it, you will see a few threads here and there) back to a customer after a repair, the problem is it's not really unlocked, you can't flash TWRP or custom ROM, and it can't be relocked or fully unlocked (we don't have the code required, guessing it's similar to a regular bootloader unlock code, unique per IMEI, but different). It is seriously annoying and the only solution is to send it back to Moto or return it to the service center which may or may not be able to rectify it. On a good note, the device will function on the ROM installed. We don't know what will happen if you attempt to take an OTA though.

Than you're probably unlocked already?
Sent from my Moto G5 Plus using XDA Labs
Restart the phone - do you see a screen with a yellow triangle with exclamation with a statement your bootloader is unlocked.... If Yes, your phone is already unlocked.
