[Q] Used Titanium Backup and now com.android.phone has stopped - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

So successfully rooted my phone and started removing bloatware using Titanium Backup. I freezed a number of AT&T applications, but avoided anything with an Android icon. I thought I was pretty careful when filtering out those apps I wanted to freeze, but when I was shutting down the phone for the night last night, I noticed that I didn't have a home screen anymore, it was just black. I had the notifications bar up top still with the date, and whether or not I was using wifi, etc., but when I clicked on the home button, blackness. Then the notification bar started to blink. I shut it down, thinking I just had to restart the phone after I froze some bloatware.
I turn the phone on this morning, and it keeps turning on, the Samsung logo pops up along with the AT&T music, and then when I see my home screen start to come up and I see the password field. At that point, it says "Unfortunately, com.android.phone has stopped." and then the phone reboots again. What can I do to stop this loop!?!?!? I imagine it was one of those apps I froze... maybe TouchWiz? Maybe I filtered something out by mistake and now the phone won't let me in!!

Consistent Rebooting - Text Related?

Guys,
I'm pulling my hair out over this. My MDA Vario has often rebooted itself and i've always put it down to a glitch of one form or another, but today it has been rebooting every few minutes.
Each time it reboots a text message i've read reappears as NEW, as though the phone doesn't register me reading it before it crashes and reboots. If I delete this and other messages, within minutes once it's crashed and rebooted they will all return like a CACHED memory or something.
I don't know what to do.
It seems as soon as my screen dims on power save, it won't come back on and within a few seconds the screen goes white as it is rebooting.
Sometimes reading this message or doing anything in the message application causes the crash, sometimes it's happenign even without me doing anything.
HOWEVER - once i've turned off the power saver dimming the screen, no reboot is occuring. I've gone into the messages, read and deleted this message among others, and no reboot. If I manually turn the screen off though, within a few seconds it reboots.
What is going on ?!
i have the same exact problem! I changed the battery the day before yesterday and it has not done it since, but im not sure if it solved the problem as sometimes it does not restart in one whole day!

[Q] Bugged out on update

Last night my A500 had an OTA update. My A500 wasn't rooted or had any mods running, and now whenever I try to unlock it, it has a tap saying 'Android system' and a notice in the middle of the screen that the device is shutting down. However, the device has not shut down after a good 15 mins.
That was a while ago.
The tab shut down after bugging out and letting me go to my home screen, and now when I try to turn it on, the android text that normally comes up while booting up shows, but it won't go past this screen.
Any way I can fix this?
It eventually booted up, and upon unlocking, the same Android System screen was up with the same shutting down notification.

Freezing.. Suggestions?

Long story short... did a full wipe and reinstall of 4.4.2 because after a couple updates on Next Launcher 3D, my phone was giving me nothing but grief with a variety of errors. Now with this fresh install and only the following apps installed:
Mi Xplorer
Titanium Backup
Puffin
MX Player
Groove IP
RingTo
CamScanner
Google Keep
App Hider
Sygic Maps
Poweramp
WeatherBug
aCalendar
Zello
My phone is freezing on me multiple times a day and I'm ready to throw it against the wall.
What I noticed is, that it seems to freeze after it sits idle for an hour or two... but runs fine as long as I am messing with it. I can literally tinker with the phone for hours and all is good, but as soon as I put it down and not touch it... FREEZE! When I am sleeping I always wake up like every 1 1/2 - 2 hrs and I check the time and over an 8 hour period, it will be frozen at least 3 out of 4 times.
Also noted is this when it freezes: I hit power/lock button to turn on screen and attempt to scroll and nothing... if I hit power/lock again to turn off screen... rehitting power/lock will not turn phone back on and will eventually reboot on it's own.
Noticed this when I have Lock Screen Turned off: If I turn on screen and hold down Home button it will still open and close Recent Apps but frozen on that screen and if I hold Home button to turn on and off the Recent Apps, after a couple times the WiFi icon will vanish and then eventually come back up and alakazam the phone is no longer frozen.
Anyone have a clue? Just guessing, but it almost seems to be a WiFi issue because why would the WiFi unfreeze the phone once it turns back on?
Appreciate all the suggestions and help... figured out what was causing the freezes and 2 days straight now freeze free.
I'm having the same problem. What worked for you? Thanks.

[Q] LG G2 Help!

I rooted my LG G2 vs980 (Verizon) many months ago. However I never actually performed any modifications. Don't ask haha.
Anyways, I wanted to unroot my phone, and being that I rooted it with ioroot, I was told to unroot it just by simply going into the settings in SuperSu and hitting Full clean uninstall. I did just that, however it stayed on the uninstalling screen forever, and NEVER WENT AWAY. It never finished the uninstalling process. I even left the phone doing the uninstalling process all night and never touched it. I had no interference with the uninstalling process.
When I realized it wasn't going to uninstall, I backed out, and did a factory reset on my phone, then restarted the uninstall process. Still the same.
This time when I tried using my phone:
1)My home button didn't work. When it was pressed, it would vibrate normally, but would not actually go to the home screen.
2) The little settings icon in the status bar, when dragged down, does not work. I have to hit the menu button and go into settings that way.
3) The lock screen does not work. I have a lock screen setup with a pattern. However the lock screen completely does not work, as if my phone isn't locking all the way. The screen will go black, and come back on with no lock screen.
4) My notifications completely do not work. My phone will sometimes make sound/vibrate like normal when receiving a notification, but my status bar will not show anything.
5) My computer won't even recognize my phone anymore either.
6) Volume buttons don't work.
7) So many other problems with the status bar.
Moral of the story, phone's screwed.
All help is greatly appreciated.
At this point, since there seems to be be so many issues, AND since you're already done a factory reset, I'd recommend just flash stock and start from the beginning again (which you've pretty much done already).

Help - Secure Folder totally hosed my S7!

So I finally got around to replacing My Knox with Secure Folder...well, trying to at least. Backed up MK, then installed SF from the Play Store and BOOM. SF crashes repeatedly when I try to open it. On the rare occasion it does launch, I can't get a password in because Samsung Keyboard keeps crashing (it's been a week and still nothing). Can't uninstall it, since the only option to do so is inside the app itself and I cannot get the password entered.
Then it got worse. TouchUX, Memo, Messages, Chrome, Settings, and many other services crash at random. Literally half the time I'm trying to use the phone, with no rhyme or reason, it gets stuck in an android.process.media or android.process.acore crash loop - I'm talking every 4 seconds I get the notification, for anywhere from 15 minutes to hours...it's pretty much unusable when it gets to that, everything still runs fine but it's not exactly practical to have to dismiss a popup every few seconds. I was using Nova Launcher and the GBoard, I outright deleted both and nothing has changed.
Oh, and I can't even connect to Smart Switch to try a backup and wipe because it insists the phone is locked even after I've disabled all locks in the security menu (swipe screen lock, no startup password, nothing). I'm seriously about to grab my maglite and smash this damned thing into itty bitty pieces, any help or insight is much appreciated!
ETA - software is stock, unrooted, latest OTA (QK4). I'm pretty technically competent; solutions at any skill level short of JTAG are welcome...
