i paid and installed modern combat 4 zero hour and noticed something strange after playing for about 5 minutes. my device started getting very hot and after exiting game and clearing all running apps. i charged my phone to 100% and went to bed. i awoke this morning to my phone being at 54%.??? a major battery drain and the first time i seen it go down that fast. about 7-8 hours.
this morning i uninstalled and my battery life went back to its long normal life.
just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing with this game?

Hey guys.
I have had a Nexus 7 since the end of July and I love it! However, recently I have been experiencing a weird problem with my battery. Normally, after a full charge I can get about 6 full days in just standby or about 5 if I use it for a considerable amount of time. What has happened recently is that my Nexus has dropped the battery percentage by a lot at completely random times. Like for instance, Friday night it was at about 15% when I left it. Now normally it'll only drain a few percentage points while in standby. I came home about 4 hours later to find it completely dead. That has never happened before. It gets weirder. Last night I went to bed with it at about 85% remaining. I woke up about 6 hours later and was surprised to see that it drained to 55% in just standby! Then after it drains a large amount, it goes back to normal standby behavior. (It is at 53% as I write this)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Have you checked which apps are running in the background? Did you install any new apps around the time your issues began?

Yesterday when my n4 was plugged in the charger, I switched in my 3g and clash of clans (a game) for around 10 min. The battery was fully charged at the time of opening the game. After 10 min, my battery was 99%.
Also I've noticed the the battery lasts like 5-6 hours on wifi. My phone is full stock. Now thinking of rooting for a better battery backup. Suggestions?

You're battery is fine. Rooting isn't going to change anything. Playing the game takes a lot of juice and the charger didn't keep up. That's all.

I'm in mighty legends, an Indian clan.
I hated the lollipop OS so I went back to KitKat 4.4.4. Now just in the past week it's been nearly impossible to get this tablet to full charge. It takes HOURS just to charge even 20%. Now I've noticed in this past week that google play services is taking up a whopping 36% of my battery. And it has never done this before. Not only that but on the battery graph it shows that my tablet has been awake and has never went to sleep. Even after sitting, doing nothing for an hour and half while I was in my physics class. Even for hours overnight it stayed awake not once did it sleep. So I'm starting to wonder. Does anyone know what's going on here?

Yesterday my wife and I experienced a sudden battery drain on our S7 edge. It really puzzles me that it started at the same time on 2 different devices.
At 5pm my battery was at 35%. 3 hours later it was dead. More or less same story on my wifes' phone.
Today it's the same situation. I have restarted and closed all running apps. Keeps draining. Temperature seems OK. Can't spot any unusual app activity
Anyone experienced this, and do you know what I can do?

Have you tried to wipe cache in recovery it maybe helpful
I am using s7 edge from last 3 months. But now, I am having problem with my battery. Getting only 2-2.5 hours of average screen time. Can anyone please help me with this?
Check if an app you downloaded previously went rouge by entering safe mode.
The last two days I hardly used my phone and the battery was down to 18% at 1pm Sunday and down to 18% at 3pm today. Hardly even unlocked the screen today. I haven't installed any new apps. just updates. Anyone else having issues? Must be a bad app update. Usually my phone makes it to 1am before going to 18% on typical days where I'm not using my phone much.
Update: I just remembered the Verizon Security and Privacy app came on wanting me to let it run so i did. that must be why my battery is draining fast. i took it off the charger this morning and it was already at 87% in 30mins.
