Is there an application for Google Nexus for banking purposes as the Mobile has?
I meant for any bank has an application?
Pretty much any of the mobile banking apps should work OK on the N10. The Chase bank app for sure is listed as compatible.
I wouldn't use a 2nd party app for banking. Go directly to your bank to check for their banking app.

If they are paid, im prettyy sure when you log into your google account, they will load right up.
Thus preventing you having to pay for the same app twice
All your apps on on your Google account on your phone will install to your xoom was long as its compatible with the xoom. I have even bought apps on my phone then used the web based market to install them to my xoom. You only buy the app once

Your apps are tied to the Google account, not the device.

Have you set up Google Wallet on the website: ?

Make sure you register a card and what not, like paypal, then see if you can find the app on the play store if it isn't in your main apps list.
I found it on the play store, and there was an enable button instead of an install button.
EDIT: I should point out the app doesn't work.
Thought Google wallet wasnt for UK

Didn't the enable it at the same time they enabled Google Music? Or is it specifically tap to pay you're referring to? Play store purchases are linked to your wallet account afaik
Pretty sure it hasn't.
There are/were ways of tricking it into working though.
Suppose Person A and Person B own a Nexus 7 and have logged into their user accounts. Both A & B own two different Android Phones. Now, A purchases an app on either of his devices. Would B be able to use the paid app? On which device(s)?
is that a trick question?
whatever A buys, B can't legally use, B has to buy it him/herself.

Unless they add each of their accounts in the Play store. I do this on the various tabs in my house. I log in through the Play store and download my apps... then just remove the account or setup a pin.

All apps are bound to the GOOGLE account, so whatever account you buy something on, whether it be on a phone, tablet, on the play Web page, the app will be shown to whatever user/device that account is attached 2, if person b has their own account then they won't see it.
Multi user is designed to make each user feel like it's their tablet, not a shared one. It's like me asking if I can use an app that you have paid for.

I have two google accounts and i've bought some apps in the first...i have added both the accounts in the N7 and I could normally download the already payed apps...Then I discovered that i can use them even if i remove the account...but if the account si not your it isn't legal....

Are there any places where you can pay with NFC through your phone, and are there any apps that do this? I heard that macdonalds have NFC pay points, how would you go about using these?
App for NFC should be part of your banking apps from your bank, if your bank supports NFC as you need to set up an account associated with the NFC which moneys are with drawn from.
I believe there are a few thrid party apps out, unless the thrid party app allows you to prepay, I would recommend staying away from unless you are comfortable linking a bank account to the app so funds could be withdrawn.
not at the moment i think

is it likely Iwill run into any issues if i use both play store apps and amazon apps? noticed the other day amazon wanted to update an app i got from play.. or maybe it was the other way round!

You won't run into any problems. If the Google Play store wants to update one of your Amazon apps... do it! It gets updates weeks ahead of Amazon and is generally the better store. It'll also allow all your newly converted Google apps (aka update via Play) to update automatically... something Amazon lacks. Just don't allow the Amazon store to update via Play. The Play version is slower...
ah ok. i have disabled any automatic updates through amazon app store. amazon still wants to update netflix and skype. may remove the amazon stuff. only thing i will miss is the free daily app.
also noticed that go store wants to update my tvchatup app and the rootcheckbasic app..

You could just keep both. I use mostly the Play store with Amazon being used for the occasional free daily app. As I mentioned before, it's generally best to let your apps update through Google Play.
ok thanks, will do. keep turning amazon app updates and use play
