[Q] Headphone audio volume fix? - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The volume on headphones is too low and I know that there are fixes but only for the snapdragon version. I'm wondering if anybody knows any mods or something I can do to increase the volume through headphones.

Increasing Volume on Phone (Speaker and Headpones)

Hey,
I had SGS3 before Nexus 4 and the volume on that was low, so you could increase it with Custom Roms and / or custom kernels so the speaker and headphones volume was much louder.
Anyone know whether something similar will come for NExus 4 as it's a tad quiet, althought the music quality is better than SGS3 in my opinion.
Cheers.

Read the description of the app before suggesting it.
This Application is ONLY for phones running Gingerbread.
It will NOT work on any other version of Android but should work on ANY phone running Gingerbread (2.3).

I wont
and the paid version works fine for me
Thanks for the replies.
The Volume+ App doesn't work so I guess I will just wait to see if a kernel comes out that works with volume boosts.
Cheers

I don't know about a "huge" difference but it's definitely noticeable for me! And yeah you need to root to get it to work.
Exactly. Viper4Android is a must!!! Difference is huge.
I am curious as to what version of viper you use?

Absolute volume?

Does anyone know how to get absolute volume working on MIUI 12? I'm on EU after custom ROMs and really miss it. I'd also like to change the share menu to the one on the pixel experience ROMs as I think it's much more convenient than the one on MIUI. Any magisk modules or other hacks?
the developer options have a absolute volume option. isn't that what you are looking for?

one volume for all, i mean if you are connected on headphones bt, now you have 2 volumes, one of the phone and one of the headphones, with absolute volume you can change the volume by the phone only
