I am sure there are more but the most important ones are:
1. bigger battery
2. extra battery
3. not using it
4. lol
juice defender.
u do have choices for non rooted but they are slim compared to choices with a rooted phone.

+1 you should root your phone...not just for battery, there are many reasons!
Well For Non-Rooted phones you can use Juice Defender, Battery Doctor etc, i used them once but frankly speaking they are not a Big deal.
My recommendation is:
1) Root your phone. Hardly takes 1 min
2) Get a custom ROM. Loads of them out there which have removed the Bloatware too.
3) And the MOST EFFICIENT way to get High Battery Life is to Use a Good KERNEL. I recommend using DragonModz_ULP Or Bali Kernel. They both give the best battery life atm
I hope it helps.
I have calibrated my battery at 4175mV with calibration app. I let it drain and then charged till 4171mV without any break yet it gives me 1 hour battery life. I have seen in others forums that by replacing batterystats.bin with fully calibrated file, it increases the battery life. So anyone with good battery life and calibrated please upload it for CM7. It is located in data/system. It will help everyone with bad battery life.
PS: I am pretty sure my battery is not faulty one, just not properly calibrated.
Thanks.

after you calibrate battery with app...batterystats.bin gets deleted...so i suggest you to fully discharge battery till phone shuts down...then fill it up to 100%...and then again draining it....your system needs some time to create new batterystats.bin....so for the first 3 cycles it may drain fast...but after that it should get stable...

@friend863 ive got abt same prob... can tell what the maximum battery usage in settings>about
I did those steps and I have batterystats.bin created after calibration. That's why I was asking for file to replace it.

Anyone? If it is successful then you might not need to waste your hours in calibrating instead just replace the file.
Pls upload one file...

But replacing batterystats.bin to test before spending money on new one would do no harm

Scrap that, looks only replacing is option. So want to know if my battery is in warranty and I want to replace it, will I need to flash stock ROM or I can just hand them only battery not whole phone?

If your phone is not more than 6 months old from buying date.. then your battery is in warranty.
you see service center people are most probably leaned to soo-off an customer complaint so they'll probably looking for problems with your phone or might say battery got damaged and stuff like that..
so on a safe side, go with STOCK firmware and deny any damage done to battery, just say it doesn't give backup and i want a replacement.

That s good info I guess if its really a myth.
(8 thanks per day).
IMO replacing the batterystats file wont do anygood, as it depends on the battery health and the usage of the original phone...

Clean your microUSB port?

Try changing to another battery. It could be a battery fault. A friend had the same problem and after swapping with another battery, problem gone.

I'm so tired of getting the wrong battery level for this huge battery. This has made me stop using it completely and back to my 3 regular batteries and wall charger. Now im back trying it out and have had no luck on finding if im able to change my battery settings from stock 3200 to my new 10000. I do know its possible I dont kniw if anyone has done this and although I'm an advanced type user this is beyond me. I have looked and can't find the settings for it I do understand of the huge risk im taking if getting it wrong so that is why im posting. I have sprint note 4 on 5.1.1 using saint rom. Please help any help is greatly appreciated
