Jelly Beans Rom - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello Everyone,
I recently installed Jelly Beans 5 onto my Note 3 and I seem to be having horrible battery life. I'm maybe getting 5 hours and that with barely any usage. I was wondering if anyone else was having any similar problems.

Did you wipe and flash a clean install?
The battery easily lasts me a day with regular use.

I get great battery on Beans no matter what build I've ran. 99% of the time it has Nada to do with the rom.

Battery issues - Need Tips please

Hello everyone, i am writing this thread today, in hope of getting some battery tips from you lot, why? Well because my phone is having some serious battery issues, it only lasts 6 hours max, no matter which rom is on it, which is just not good enough.
I have used the stock froyo rom, SlashDW's CM 7.0.1 unofficial rom, and now running Frosense, by Rushness, but i have had no sucess with this battery problem.
Hopefully someone can help me solve this issue, i would be very greatful, thanks.
Try to wipe battery settings from recovery before flashing rom.
like extrahacker said, wipe battery stats... than leave device powered off and charge till full, than re-install rom of choice
I looked at a post regarding that on the web, and followed the instructions. Charged till full, wiped battery stats, and then let it drain and charge again, still no luck. Any other ideas? Thanks for your help, you both
I find that the CM roms are very battery consuming. The Froyo for Trout rom gives me a full day.
You must also consider that the battery is 2+ years old, it would have high battery wear. Which might explain why you have bad battery life.
Agree with Ace42 - I recently acquired a G1 and the battery life was shocking, I was lucky if I got 4 hours! I have just switched on my phone with a new battery from ecell off ebay and will give it a blast over the weekend.
It can't do any worse but I am hoping for at least 8/9 hours!
OK so the first day I just scraped 24 hours... it must have been the old battery!
I can't complain!

Jelly Bean HD2 : Battery Life??

Hi guys!! While most of us are keen to keep running the latest android versions on 'The King', our HD2, just wondering if your views are similar to mine with the battery drain on most Jelly Bean ROMs as compared to ICS and Gingerbread ROMs.
Please share your experiences and benchmarks for the maximum battery life you've got with a particular Jelly Bean ROM...
Battery drain on JB was marginally higher than ICS/GB for me. However, in standby on NexusHD2 I got 7 days 9 hours (well, a bit more) of battery life with literally no usage (highest drain was Mobile Standby)
seems like the WIFI is the biggest drain on my HD2 (see the ROM I'm running below)
also BT hangs occasionally and turns the phone into a hot coal and the battery will die within an hour.
For my experience with NexusHD2 I can said I had amazing battery life after the first flash, after that I did a mess with my rom and I had to reflash the rom, never had the battery life like the first time, after flashing and flashing again the battery brain fast but all in the same time. I think the installation is very important in this part.

[Q] Battery drain on S3 (i9300)

I don't know if I'm the only one who's noticing this but I just came off 4.3 TouchWiz onto SlimKat 4.4.2 (Build 5) and I'm noticing battery drain like crazy on my mobile. I thought it was bad on my previous stock ROM after the horrendous 4.3 update Samsung provided but this is worse. I used to get around 9-10 hours of battery life which has been reduced to around 6-7 hours now (I know it's not a HUGE difference but I'm not a fan of charging my phone twice a day). Overnight (despite leaving it on flight mode) the battery of my phone drops by 8 odd % in around 6-7 hours. Does anyone know the cause of this and can someone please help me?
Thanks

6. Turn off animations.
7. Turn down the brightness.
8. Turn on the dark slim mode.
9. Switch to 2g.
With the above, I get 1+ day of battery on my i9300.
Read in other forums of other ROMs with 4.4.2 that battery drains with this KitKat version
Using omni ROM 4.4.2 battery drains on this too. Could it be Version specific problem ?

[Q] PAC Rom Battery issues with the Samsung Galaxy S5

So I just flash the PAC rom for my Samsung galaxy s5. So far everything is working for me. But I noticed that my battery is getting low very fast after installing the PAC rom. I have Bluetooth, GPS, Wifi, Mobile data, and phone serviceon at all times. When I was on Stock rom it would take a day and a half for the battery to get low. Cyanogenmod took about a day but I had no phone service to drain the battery. With the PAC rom, it takes 4 hours for the battery to drain. I have also noticed that the phone is getting very hot while I am using it. When the phone is charging it gets a little warm. Is there anything I could do to fix this? I am not sure if maybe I did Something wrong.

[Q] Which ROM provide best battery life ?

Hi, i would know which rom has the best battery life for the i9505.
I'm currently on DanVDH 5.0 Lollipop rom, which is awesome but the battery life isn't that good : With only wifi on, airplane mode on, brightness between 30-50%, and normal use (Chrome, sociak networks, some dl and videos), i can't get more than barely 3h30 of screen on time, sometimes 4 hours but not so often.
So, which rom (and maybe kernel) would you recommend ? I'd love to get at least 4 to 5 hours of screen-on time.
Im using the CM12 Lollipop 5.0.2 Build from Antares and got between 4-6h Screentime, without problems any way more usage as you.
Maybe your battery is ... dying?
It can't be the battery dying, it's a S4 black edition which isn't old.. And in stock rom it used to last way much longer :/
