sony net - failed
sony (winusb) - failed why is this ?
Are you running Windows 8/8.1 64 bit ?
Then you have to disable driver certificate check.
Here in the forum are tutorials about this issue.

Actually you don't need drivers installed manually, keep pushing volume down and connect via usb to pc, the windows will install the drivers automatically and you are ready to go. Remember to keep pushing volume down all the time in the process.

i've tried various drivers but nothing will install-
the abd drivers from the simlock website;
from the se developers website;
from a couple of forums where people confirm they work;
pc companion;
letting windows find and download.
everytime i get error message:
Windows was unable to install your SEMC USB Flash.
Windows could not find driver software for your device.
help! please

Sp1???????? There's no WIN 7 SP2!!
I have installed the Sony drivers. I did this while in test mode. The only error I get is that a driver called Sony Net did not install. I then downloaded the Android SDK tools and installed the Google USB driver. However, whenever I try to adb, I get the device is offline error. My cable has also been plugged directly into my PC instead of a hub but same error...
EDIT : Just realized no questions in General. My bad.
Hi guys,
When I connected my Nexus7(wifi 8G CM10) to my PC( Win 7) , OS always shows"unknown device".
I tryed to re-install N7 driver in my PC but failed.
I tryed to connect PC at N7 fastboot interface but also failed.
I tryed to change different USB cable with different PC, failed again.
It can charge my N7 when I connect to PC.
Is anybody meet the same question? could you please help me to solve this problem?
Thank you.
Which Android Composite ADB Interface Driver version did you try to install?

install this and then install the drivers. should be easy
You should also uninstall any existing Android 1.0 or Nexus 7 drivers from Device Manager (you can type it in the start menu, or WIN+R and run devmgmt.msc) before moving forward.
Install Nexus 7 windows drivers from Asus site. They release proper drivers for windows 7 and 8 and nobody seems to know about it.

Also I have a tutorial on how to properly setup adb for any device in win 7 and 8 no need to download anything beyond 2Mb here:

Hi, I just bought a Note 3, and I was about to transfer music to it.
but it just stops transferring after one song, and (and shows that it) keeps transferring... when i disconnect, not one audio file is transferred.
Just some info if needed, the audio files are flac. and the firmware is MJ7.
I *think* it might be because maybe drivers weren't installed properly? If so, can someone kindly tell me where to find drivers for this device? Thanks
I'm not sure how did you do it. Maybe you can try this way. Install airdroid on the phone and then transfer whatever you want via wi-fi. It's easy to use, just follow the instructions of that app. It rarely failed. No drivers needs to be installed.

Was trying to install the latest USB driver for OP6T on a work computer but the installation was repeatedly getting blocked by the AV software (Cylance Protect), apparently due to the presence of VBS scripts in the installer package. This is a work computer so I cannot disable the AV software, even temporarily. Is there a way to unpack the installer and install the drivers manually? The driver was downloaded from the unlocking thread in the News forum.
If it is a work computer, ask your IT guys for help. They may create an exception.
If they say no go, don't try to work around it. It's not worth losing your job over.
