Hi guys, for nexus 4 and nexus 5 is available a mod that port Moto X dalvik ( optimized ) in these devices getting great results in performance.
Is it possibile to get it on LG G2?
Here the post for Nexus 5:

Thank you.
Bump.... Although this might need to go in the Q&A section.
Looks like the stuff is just pulled directly from the Moto X, not really ported or anything.. really not sure tho.

I love the pure Google experience but internal memory and battery capacity of Nexus 5 is just killing me. I would go for G2, but I heard it struggles with poor internal memory performance. Can anyone confirm it with KK onboard? My N5 is .84 rw. Which one has better community support? I would probably flash cm/omni. And Im considering 16GB Z1 vs 32GB G2. I like the feeling of N5, and that's why Im a bit scared of Z1 huge frame, but stable and fully functional pure Google is the most important for me.
The lg g2 is the same hardware as the nexus 5 and it has worse support lg doesn't know how to make things without bugs and I don't know if I would go with Sony they are having financial problems maybe try a gpe galaxy s4 stock android easy bootloader unlock and easy to root and you get the latest from Google pretty quickly

I cant get S4 GPE in Poland, also S4 wakeup time is unacceptable for me.

What a bunch of crap, of all the brands I've used LG has been the best after the nexus line

This is my opinion it may be a bunch of crap from your point of view I'm just saying that although my galaxy s4 was a knoxed down piece of crap Samsung actually knows how to make things work properly I do not agree with Samsung's lock down everything so I switched to the g2 I have never had such a buggy experience on a stock ROM

If I were you I would wait for the HTC m8 looks like it might have nice hardware and hopefully it will be rootable who knows I've heard nexus 5 battery life not very good it must be software my g2 gets 2 days with mild to lite usage but if you get a g2 it might not be rootable depends whether it comes with kitkat but but you may not want to root

I have two days to decide What do you mean by saying "unrootable"? Do LG G2 with KK have locked bootloader / recovery or it's just a matter of time?

I believe LG G2 has a locked bootloader and the KK update just patched something that allowed us to install a custom recovery.

admit that LG is worst updater in software ever but if u look Z1`s lags (in main launcher, broswer (Chrome is perfect) but games has no lag ofc) which i`v seen, ull say LG is heaven

I've actually found that the internal memory on the G2 is incredibly fast. Especially if you flash roms/kernels. It flashes so fast that the first time I flashed a big rom like rooted stock (1.7GB zip size) that I thought something went wrong and it failed. Install furnace kernel and set the readahead to 1MB and I doubt you'll see faster nand flash memory in any other phone out there.

I think you must buy G2 if you feeling of N5. Anyway, Z1 is good looking but if you want to buy Z1 wait for Z2
I was just wondering about the poor development for our device, I would be glade about developing but I only know the basics, looling other forums the have pretty lots of kernels and roms and ports from many xperias, we only have Z2 port :/
Okay my primary wondering is about this: It's suposed we have the same processor as the Moto x, except for the contextual LPCs, the same GPU, even the same resolution, an It's better-optimized than our SPlendid phone, and even better! It has KitKat, so why don't developers at least try to port a rom from it? We don't even lose anything, but we could win lots of things, what do you think devs? Do not blame me with: You're stupid, maybe I am but maybe not!
I will continue investigating, btw thnks if you took your time for reading this crazy Idea

hey.. i formerly was Xperia ZR user.. i switch to XSP bcos of development of XSP its really good.. if this phone u call poor development u should see ZR.. much more worse!! Xperia SP n Moto X was build on the same chip.. but Moto X is actually minor upgrade version of XSP processor.. its not the same.. and again.. motoX actually a basic phone.. much like cyanogen.. plus GEL and active display.. if u prefer that than flash 4.4.2 carbon ROM it has everything what motoX offer n many more~~ for me Cyanogen 10.2 is enough~~
Allright allright bad idea I tought Moto X had less bugs and yes you're right at least we have little active development, not like One X ough, at least we have many masters like DooMLorD and many as him ^^ Glad about it thanks for reading maybe I should delete this post xD
would anybody recomend using it? i noticed my moto g was faster than my nexus and i think its due to f2fs. is it somewhat safe? are people seeing good results? are people finding it ok to return back to ext4? thanks.

the moto g faster is not true, somethings can be fast due to not only f2fs but for others optimizations(not just in the libs, in the system directly), witch can be achieved using custom roms. (and f2fs)
take a note that our n4 will not be as fast as a moto g for instance(only for a few apps witch uses all the n4 cores) / n7 2013
I need a temporary phone till the Moto X+1 comes out. I'm debating between the G2 and ght S4. I know I can get a GPE rom for the S4 so that is nice, but I prefer the camera and bigger screen of the G2.
So my question is, how good is an AOSP rom on the G2? Are there performance issues? How well can xposed make the stock rom look like AOSP?
Hello!
I'm not a ROM developer or porter, so I have no idea on how to proceed. Even if I had, I'd no idea on how to fix things if errors would come up. I even suspect that, being devices with different resolutions, I'd also have to optimise all the graphic resources to match the lower res. Also I suspect that the kock code has something to do with the kernel, rather than the base ROM.
My question is then the following: would it be possible to port LG G3's Optimus UI (Lollipop) on Nexus 4? I recently bought a LG G3 and my brother, whom I gave the Nexus 4, is literally drooling for this interface.
Thank you very much

Generally no. Most of these are dependent on the hardware. This is the reason you dont see TW roms or Sense roms on none HTC/Samsung devices.
