I have bricked the brick...
some times the things are so small and we visualize it to big....
Solution for this Problem is..
.
Just change the System/Notebook/Desktop/PC, etc.
And perform the operation said in OP of Flashing the DLL and tot files via FLash Tool
And really the Problem lies is...
While installing the Drivers, these drivers are not supported or compatible with each other or can say in short,.... files are not installed properly.
also uninstalling Flash tool and downloading again the dll and tot files wont work ... because these will be same as prvs one.. so dont waste data and TIME
Just Change the SYSTEM or Format your System.
First i Tried on the other friends system n succeeded..... and then i formatted my Bloody system
hope, all will find this rubbish bit, this is the only way i got my dead [device] to live....
Try dear.. i think u will succeed..
Best LUCK
I was in the middle of installing xdabbeb's rom on my vs980 and accidentally erased my sd card after installing the xdabbeb bootstack and now I cant adb sideload the rom onto my phone because my computer doesnt recognize the device when connected and I cant use the lg flash tool because the bootstack I installed removed the lg download mode. How can I fix this?

You should be able to access the device via adb while in recovery. If not you probably lack the proper drivers.
Download the appropriate drivers from the LG website (or search for "LG United Mobile Driver") and install them.
After that you should be able to access the phone via adb and then you can either adb push the rom zip or sideload one.
(If that didn't work try the drivers inside Googles Android SDK)
Thanks!!

Nice Glad I could help...
Hey everyone I have a D801 LG G2 Wind variant that bricked after using the D801 Autorec to install TWRP
Since then I have gotten myself out of Fastboot mode, and have successfully installed TWRP 2.6.3.2 onto my phone.
Now my issues begin, as I have no clean backup to restore to.
Through TWRP I can access ADB, so I can push and pull files as necessary and I can use their terminal.
I do not have access to download mode, it just gets stuck at the first screen with the blue dots.
I have also tried using the LG mobile support tool, but it doesn't recognize my phone, and I cannot get to Download mode.
Is there anyway for me to flash a rom? return to stock? or just get my phone working again?
I've looked at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 as a guide and I can get the R&D tool working but it never asks me for my country/language.
And I've tried running these commands in both ADB shell and the TWRP terminal Command http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
With them I've been able to get my LED working again? but I dont know what else to do, can anyone help?
Deleted everything but TWRP in my G2. ADB Sideload doesn't start, it gets stuck in "starting ADB sideload feature..." any ideas what to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had this problem and had to do a factory wipe to get ADB sideload to work so I could push a rom to TWRP
I never had anything but problems using TWRP on this device, I have no problems with CMR
