[Q] 3G Data Issues..Help needed

I recently flashed win 7 on my HTC HD2. I am a US T-mobile user. i can make and receive calls. But i have no internet or windows market unless i'm connected to my wifi. I have innstalled HTC connect setup and it shows I'm on US t-mobile but I still have no 3G data. Anyone have a fix or know what I need to do?
the build I flashed to was "XBmod-WP7-V1.04------[7.0.7004]"
Any help or suggestion would be helpfil =)

Settings--->Cellular--->edit apn--->under "APN" put "epc.tmobile.com" and click the check mark

[Q] Can't turn off Mobile Data

Hi,
There's something weird going on with my myTouch. I'll appreciate if someone could explain this.
I have turned off 'Mobile network' but still my mobile network connection seems to come on by itself even when wifi is on.
I've confirmed that its actually turning on by browsing a few webpages. When I look at the setting its 'unchecked'.
I am totally confused. :S

do you see an "h" or a "3G" in your bar?

I see an E because I am in Pakistan and we currently have Edge, don't have 3G yet :$

if you see the "E" that means your mobile data is still turned on. You should be able to go to settings > wireless & network > mobile networks > and turn off the data....

that's the problem my friend, its already unchecked :S and I am not a newbie to android
I have had a G1, then a Hero, then HD2 with Android and now myTouch 4G

well with only 24 post it's hard to say, and your signature didn't say anything about that....
Did you try turning off and on the Airplane mode?

is that known to help with this issue?

Well i'm just asking if you've tried it. I've never had a problem dropping data as soon as i turn it off. But i know AirPlane mode will sever the data connection and voice connection. when you reconnect it should turn on only the voice end of it

Lost Data connections in Flex v1.5

I recently installed Flex v1.5 on my LG G2 (Claro PR-D801) and seemed to lost all of Data Connection. I tried the 3845 and #*#*# Methods but nothing seems to kick it back in. Any suggestions?
#Got everything fixed. Man this website loses me so much Dx, can't even find a way to delete my own thread.

I used the Claro PR APN. By going to Settings > Tethering & networks > Mobile networks > Access point names > The Three Horizontal Bars button, New APN

Axon 7 data not working

Hello this is my first time here so I am sorry if I screwed anything up with this post.
Anyway I just bought an Axon 7 form Italian Amazon (I am from slovenia) and inserted my Sim card in it. Everything works fine except data. I can make phone calls or write texts but even if I turn on the data it just doesn't work
Is this a bug in software and if so is there end way to fix it?

Settings >dual sim settings >mobile networks >access point names

Hi there was no app actually. I tried to make one just bi clicking random things and I got 3g connection. Any idea how to actually configure an apn?

Depends on which provider you have.
Look at this maybe your provider is also there: APN Settings

Hi, I'm from Slovenia also. Zivjo Which operator are you on? (Mobitel, simobil...)? Tell me and I will send you link for Apn settings. I have axon 7 from amazon.de and everything works
Perfectly. I use bob (simobil) operator.

Oh zivijo I am on simobil

Create 2 apns. One for data second for mms.
Just insert this data in and save. You will have like mi only it will be simobil. Then you are good to go

It's still only 3g but it is quite fast (15MB down) so it will do. Ena lepa hvala
UPDATE: it works perfect now thanks again

Pull down your notification menu and make the the quick setting for "data 1" is enabled. That got me a time or two. It disables in ultra power saving mode. Check!

I have no connections internet with roaming out italy; I am sure than internet is active (phone of my wife is connect with similar SIM)
other function are perfect (telephone calls and sms)
I set in netvork connection: roaming yes but no signal

Hi!I have the same problem,no cellular internet when roaming.Have you had any success in resolving the problem.I have tried to add apn settings that should work for a host network,but the system doesn't save them,keeps replacing them with the old ones.All of this is happening to me on oreo update,you probably had nougat or?Would appreciate a response!Thanx!

I had similar bug (?-or I miss some setting) on Nougat.

I did a factory reset,still on Oreo and I will probably have the chance to test it on Friday,to see if it did the trick.will be back with the results

Well,I am happy to say that I resolved the issue.I was abroad last weekend and everything was as it should be.funny thing is the problem was in the name of the APN on the main page where one can see the names of internet and MMS apns.for some reason one my phone it read telering,which is not my network and all of the setting were also from telering.i do not know why.after I wrote in correct settings and names for my network the issue was gone.i am using a prepaid network which is renting the frequency from another, bigger carrier.so that's it.the question why still remains,because I didn't change anything after buying the phone,the first SIM card,and the only one was mine.good luck,hope this helps
