By everyone.. I am desperate and need done help.
After trying to root my lg g2 d 800 I
Started getting the following error on boot:
"
Error:boot certification verify
----------------------------------------------------
[700]
[750]
[800]Secured booting error!
[850]Cause : boot certification verify
[900]
[950]
"
I tried every possible way to get my phone in to download mode and it won't just happen. (Volume up while connecting USB, volume down, both volume etc)
Ican get to factory hard reset but the error previously mention appears on the background and goes into a barely lighted black screen. Any ideas ?
Similar to my problem:

how do you perform factory reset?
To get into factory reset mode... make sure phone is off then you hold down power + vol down.. once the lg logo comes up release the buttons and click power... But this is worthless for me.

Looks like I got it, I did a factory reset on top of it and seems to be working again.
Can you tell me exactly what you did? I seem to be having a similar problem with the Verizon G2 and can't get anything working.

After I ran the factory flashing tool, the phone would boot loop (I think most likely because the settings and profile from the last rom wasn't reset by the tool.)
So what I did was use the factory recovery option in the phone by doing the following.
1. Power down the phone (Hold power for 15 Seconds)
2. Press and Hold Vol Down and Power
3. Quickly after seeing the LG logo release the power (while holding Vol Down still) then pressing and holding the power again. You should get a white screen asking if you want to reset your phone press Power to Confirm twice.
A little android pops up and does some work then reboots your phone. The phone should boot after that.

Hey all! I've been fighting with similar errors for a couple days and I figured out what happened. I was stuck in fastboot mode the first time due to installing the d802 Cyanogen mod on my d800 AT&T phone on accident (wiki threw me off...) and the second time I attempted to flash a boot.img that was close but not quite right for my phone, causing the boot verify fail issue.
In the first case, my phone eventually went dead and I was able to enter download mode by holding volume up and plugging in the cable while it was still dead. In the second, I found that holding all buttons (volume up, down, and power) continuously eventually made it shut off completely. BUT you have to KEEP holding it, even after it reboots!! Once I got to that stage, the LG Flash software worked wonderfully. Once you get it reset, double and triple check you have the right rom file, then check a few more times just to make sure. Hope that helps!

I probably souldn't have done that...
Code:
ERROR : BOOT certification verify
[830]-----------------------------------
[880]
[930]Secure booting Error!
[1030]
[1080]----------------------------------
That's the error message I get when I boot, this is after I hold the power down button for about 10sec. Then it goes back to black.
The solution seems to be here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142 . Problem is that I used a kdz file to install my ROM and it doesn't have any img files.
When I connect my phone to my pc, a whole lot of local disks pop-up, of which I can acces only 1. This one has a lot of adsp.b00, adsp.b01, adsp.b02, etc files in it together with some other bXX (where XX is 01 to 26) files.
i haD usbhq_bulK and many drives all i had to do was flash tot.with flash tools if your doesnt go into download mode.. use srk toold to nuke download mode if it fails then open phone and short circuit the motherboard..

I wonder if anyone can help me here, i have successfully returned to stock following this guide but have a big problem. I cannot get into recovery at all to do the factory reset. My phone boots but an error message pops up saying system.ui not responding and it does not go away, it needs to be factory reset but i cannot get into recovery. Is there a way to flash the stock image and reset the phone via R&D tools? or is there any other way to reset? any help would be appreciated.
What Rom did you flash because on some Roms to factory reset you have to be fully powered off and then hold volume down+power when LG logo shows up hold power button+volume down while for others you have to hold volume up+down after LG logo

Hey Guys... I've been searching XDA and the internet for a couple hours now on this, and am finally posting. I just got a new LG G2 on AT&T. I rooted with Towelroot, and rushed to change the DPI in Build.Prop without installing TWRP first, which was quite stupid... I changed it from 480 to 400 which has worked for me in the past on a previous G2 (on Verizon)...I don't have USB debugging enabled either.
In any case, when the phone boots up, it shows the AT&T logo, and then an error "Unfortunately the process com.android.systemui has stopped". I can hit OK...then I get a screen with just the wallpaper and an error "Unfortunately Home has stopped", and I can't hit anything.. it doesn't respond.
I installed the phone drivers from LG's site... I can't seem to connect via ADB or Fastboot (although I less familiar with Fastboot)... If I enter recovery by holding down power and volume down, it asks if I want to reset the phone, but doing so just gives me an error "error: boot certification verify" and reboots...
Is there any way I can connect via adb, fastboot, or some method to modify the build.prop file?
Thank you!!
@rockon83 I dont think there is a way to enter fastboot mode like that without a modded bootloader and adb also not.
You can try to get into download mode and flash stock kdz/tot again and then normal flash to keep your app data.
Thanks wulsic... If I press and hold the volume up and then plug in the usb cable, it just shows the charging battery symbol... I can't seem to get into download mode....
Am I screwed?
If You're just rooted can't you simply enter stock recovery and factory reset? Turn off the phone, hold vol down + power button together, when LG logo appears release then just hold power button. That should get you into stock recovery where you can factory reset.

Same situation happened to me except for the not being to get into download mode part. Only way I was able to resolve it was to flash back to stock via the tot method. I used this video How to Unbrick or Restore the LG G2 ATT Version: http://youtu.be/kqw_LFuyHbE
I think there is a thread on here on how to fix not being able to get into download mode. But I think it's for the D802.

You can do try a factory reset. Hold down the VOL - and power, when you see the LG logo, let go then press and hold the power again.
Hi,
I had a problem, on boot it said: "Fastboot mode started" and when plugged in it adds:
"reset
portchange
reset
portchange"
So i messed with it and then it had security problems and showed a dark screen but you could see it's powered on, to get it back to fastboot mode you needed to press volume up and power buttons together. Now, the phone doesn't show anything on the screen, If you boot it up it remains a black screen (you can't see any light) but the PC detects the phone.
It can't go into download mode or recovery.
I've tried the BoardDiag3.99c application trying to flash a stock .tot file. I couldn't get it to pass, it said something like "AP fail.. Test aborted Failed during loading flash programmer""
