[Q] - Firefox OS General

Hello. I have zte kis lite, and I have ported rom of firefox os from zte open(they work good) but
I also have two install zip packages of firefox os. One of them recognizes my sim card and is working properly,
another one is working too, but that one doesn't recognize my sim card. What should i do to make that rom recognizes my sim?
And, that rom which doesn't recognize my sim card is better than that which recognizes it.
Any help is appreciated

Hello?? Please, can someone help me......not even if someone tells me that it cannot be done.....
Someone???
Do you have your SIM contacts on the HTC or your PC?. If you use Outlook for example you will find that the first activsync session you did the SIM contacts were transerred to your PC contacts (at least that is what happened with me). If they are there then a new activsync session should get them back on the HTC and you can then use SIM Manager to transfer them back onto the SIM.
If you have no copies anywhere then you need some data recovery software. I do not know if there is any recovery software that works on internal memory rather than hard discs - you could try googling to see.

Possible use of external SD card for OS?

I am wondering about creating a ROM build that resides on the external SD card that can be booting into to get access the the calling feature without flashing the native ROM. I have the HTC HD2 with windows mobile 6.5. I have downloaded many Android ROM builds to my external SD card for it and the builds work..though there are glitches. I was thinking that doing this for the Tablet might be a safe alternative until a more permanent fix of the native ROM can be made.
I had a tablet that I had successfully flashed to get calling feature but wiped my IMEI and serial number. So I ended up returning it. Now, I just purchased a new one and thought that using that external SD for the OS would be workable. Novice I am, can't changes be made to the orginal OS as the phone/dialer software is already there? Perhaps just a code some how to unlock it?
And thanks for all the hard work guys!

[Q] HD2 WP7 not detected, anyone with the USB driver?

Hi, I've bought my HD2 (original rom is vodafone UK but it has been unlocked).
And I've successfully flashed wp7 rom on my HD2. However, when I tried to connect it to my laptop, it gives me the message that the driver hasn't been successfully installed.
I've went to the device manager, and there is indeed an "unknown device" icon with the exclamation mark. I've tried updating the driver/scan for hardware change but I received the message that the driver cannot be found.
Of course I've installed zune and the latest wp7 SDK before I connect my WP7 HD2. But that didn't help.
I've reinstalled winmo 6.5, and have tried installing android (both SD and NAND) and my laptop has no problem detecting my phone via usb connection.
I'm at lost. I've looked around the forum but the solutions available aren't doing me any good.
Will someone be kind enough to post the usb driver for WP7 HD2 so that I could manually install it onto my laptop. Hopefully this will resolve the issue.
p.s. As a sidenote, my SD card isnt working on WP7 and after I flashed the wp7 i was not greeted with the usual setting up your wp7 device like many others. I;m not entirely sure if this is relevant to my issue or not though.
fixed it
i've managed to get it to work.
Apparently, the incompatible sdcard does play a role.
Make sure you remove your sd card upon installation (or hard reset it without the sd card) then you'll be greeted by the wp7 setting up screen.
then after you've finished setting up your wp7 hd2, just connect it to your usb port (again, make sure that there is no sd card inside of your phone) and your laptop should detect your phone.
Another way to fix
I had exactly the same problem
i went into device manager saw my driver hadnt been installed properly
i right clicked and tried to reinstall and it worked
just keep trying until its recognized i suppose

Usually the sd card that comes with the HTC HD2 will work. The only time someone might have to do this is if they are not using the one coming with the phone.

When you tried this did it take longer than usual to connect to your computer?
Mine failed install the first time, and then when I tried to reinstall it was installing and it just took forever!
Note: My phone connected to when it was WP6.5 and when I flashed it...
i have same problem, but i tried 1.take out sd card, 2.hard reset wp7, my windows7 pc still not detect hd2 wp7, does any one know if i can install any driver to driver it up? thanks.
i have the same issue anyone have a fix pls?

MicroSD Card - not seen by device.

My MXP is currently not seeing the SD card. Tested the card and it's working fine - on Moto E LTE (current phone I will be using till I figure out that is wrong with MXP) with MM 6.0 and Lumia 640 LTE with Windows 10 Mobile REdstone preview build. Works and is recognized by any PC via an adapter. The issue seems to be limited to MXP. The phone till tomorrow had no such issue - it "appeared" when i fully clean flashed CM13 with latest open gapps. After the initial setup the card was not recognized.
Other SD card i have tested which are working anywhere else- kingstone 4 GB - also show similar symptoms on my MXP.
Help and suggestions anyone?

Try Flashing Again With Full Wipe
Use only suggested Gapps as suggested by CM13 Developer and Follow his instruction too.
Before Flashing CM rom , Please Fully Wipe Data/Factory reset and also Format Your SD card too ( through lappy or any other device)
Install Rom and Gapps once at same time do not open your Mobile between that.
Hope it Helps.
xpectedme094 => Thanks for opinion but I did all that twice .....The SD seems to be not recognized (in recovery mode as well )as if the SD slot was broken.Card itself is working well on my moto E LTE stock 6.0.
Will try other ways to fix the issue but I am happy with my substitute phone MOTO E. Hope during the weekend I will fix the issue ( or the thing i screwed up ). In other i will try to mend it or service it or whatever. ^^

If Rom Working Fine and Everything is ok then yes there might be problem with SD card slot.
UPDATE: SD card is seen on other devices or pcs and is being seen containing wrong file type for brief moment. i sometimes have the option to format - downgraded to 5.1.1. On stock however when connected via usb cable to pc it's sometimes visable for a moment then not.....MXP despite this issue works fine and i will be using it .

RR Oreo 8.1 can't detect Sim Card

Hi guys,
so I have a g530h dual sim(xxu), I had a KitKat android version 4.4.4 and was really slow sometimes, so I wanted to test some different Roms and I'm new at it but I know my ways in the computer so I wasn't totally lost. I have a old totally working Rom I don't like, and the RessurectionRemix I flashed recently(I couldn't find a LineageOS to work on it), but it's not detecting the Sim Card and the camera is not working.
I need the Sim Card to work in the RR and I would like the camera working too, the IMEI is there when I dial *#06# but the Sim Card won't work. I saw some attempt to solve this kind of problem pasting a lib in /system/lib but is was for another Rom and another device the RR have only empty directory in my internal storage /system/tmp/local.
Can I copy files from the other rom to make it work?
Or you recommend a similar rom in wich the sim works?
I'm using the latest(20190108) RessurectionRemix in this link: download.msm8916.com/ResurrectionRemix/oreo/fortuna3g
