[Q] Can someone do a vídeo with Nexus 7 with tablet UI mode?

Can anyone do that? Like a little review.
I would like to see the notifications and the lancher.

I was hoping for the same thing a few hours ago but couldn't find anything. Basically just wanna see how the notification expansions work and how fluid the os is in tablet mode. Probably comparable performance but I just wanted to make sure xD

I would also love to see this

so no one is able to do this? I came searching again and was disappointed

I would love a video of that too. Please can someone make one?

But neither of them have video reviews of it running stock tablet UI with the DPI change mod. They both have it running the 213 dpi, hybrid UI instead.

Aww seriously guys it can't be this hard to get something like this done. :s I'd gladly do it but I don't have the device.

I think you are going to confuse people.
The Nexus 7 does run in Tablet UI mode - only the home screen is hybrid.
What you want is a video of the tablet running with the DPI mod.

If you want to get technical then yes it is running in tablet mode, with a Hybrid Launcher BUT I still believe it's hybrid UI since even while in apps, you still get the hybrid/phone-like softkeys and notification bar.
Yes I would like a video of a nexus 7 running the DPI mod and showing a brief overview of menus, opening apps and notifications.

Some questions before getting Nexus 7

Hi, I'm getting Nexus 7 on Christmas, and I would like to ask some questions.
How's tablet mode with this tablet?
Any defects which are popular?
Are any game lagging? (I will play a lot I think)

If your on 4.1.2 you can change it to tablet mode or with a custom ROM. Mine has minor screen lift. Don't mind since I have accidental. And gaming is awesome!

I think I'll run PA, I had it on my One X and it was awesome. Thanks for the answer! :laugh:

There are many people having defects.. but you exchange it untill you get a perfect one LOL
About tablet mode, I just tried it and I don't know which one I like most... I highly reccomend you to hide navigation screens and top bar, so you can get use of your screen at 100% and with gmd gestures you can go back forward recent applications move directly to homescreen etc...

The multi window ui is Dependant on the touch wiz framework. Its not impossible. But who knows, maybe someone will take it on eventually

Google needs to put it in aosp as soon as possible. I wish they didn't kill off cornerstone as that was originally going to be part of cm but google told them to cease and desist.

Google would have to develop that from scratch, because that's Samsung-proprietary code.
Also, I hope that Google does NOT clutter up Android with stuff like this, for this we have ROMs like PA (which is already stuffed full of features that it barely works as a daily driver).

Paranoid android was great when it was based on cm. Its in 4.2 when they tried to go aosp and make their own tweaks that it became a mess. They need to go back to cm or switch to AOKP(uses CMs main code).
It wouldn't be that difficult to implement multi window. The cornerstone code would be a good starting point and android apps already scale to different resolutions without an issue.

It's sad that a great dev like Jisnu Sur left xda...but it's also great that you will keep his work with Sony Apps! I have a small little question that all ignore in the other thread...is there the possibility to have a flashable zip with only Walkman? However thanks for your work!

Bad news it that he has even got hus account deleted. He say he may support his work but asked me and some guys experienced in different fields to do it. And if a problem arise he may help us through WhatsApp and all that we will see when time comes up. I was supporting his z2 thread so I am still doing. :fingerscrossed:

One thing to add that 'His work can be continued and promoted ' because the rules says that we can't do these if the person was banned but instead he left XDA As is own will get found some social problems and to live peacefully he did so.He will always help us through his friends because he still has the zeal to work for android

Just take out the .apk from the .zip and install. It works fine for Walkman, not sure if Album and Movies need specific frameworks/libs to work, I didn't try.

i would kiss you if you could make Walkman work on ART ... even without the color changing bling and stuff

Who said i am leaving.I am Jishnu had been working together and most support on his thread came from my side.
The calendar app an overall work is mine .Though he fixed them a bit .We are working together
