[REQ] Disable noise cancellation - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know this is possible. In the November 23 AOSPA 4.0 rom for the LG G2 there was no noise cancellation, and I loved it. But with an update to the rom the noise cancellation is now back, of course.
So any developers out there that knows what files to merge from the AOSPA rom to something like the latest CM11 rom?
Or if someone could make a flashable that would just disable noise cancellation for whatever rom you are using.
Because as a content creator, it really bugs me that the mic is fine by itself, but terrible because of the noise cancellation, i just want it removed!
I have the Nov 23 rom laying on my computer, so if anyone is interested in helping me, or accepting the challenge making a flashable, just write it as a response, and I will upload it.

I've searched all over... I can't find anything to disable that noise suppression... Call quality is annoying. Does someone have any ideas?
Similar problem for other phones: "Low quality sound including muffled and robotic-sounding voices during calls, rather than the promised better sound quality"

[Q] Handset Speak Distortion

I hope this hasn't already be posted, I looked hard.
I've recently upgraded to the official 2.2 release, then replaced the kernel with the vodoo kernel to address the lag issue. Now when I use the handset for calls the callers voice is distorted. There is a tinny rattling like sound. Kind of the distortion you hear in the low bass range when your stereo is to loud, but this is distortion in the higher ranger, not low bass sounds. Happens at any volume level.
This doesn't happen when using the speakerphone, or ear piece, just the normal ear speak in the handset.
I'm looks through the Service Menu->Sound->Handset options but not really sure what all the setting ares.
Any help would be very much appreciated?
Thanks
John
I would flash one of the custom kernels or....... you could try galaxy tuner it allows to to equalize the sound. Worth a try
Me, I would just get one of the great roms already out there

[Q] Call sound doesn't play through wired headset

Hello everyone, I hope all is well!
I have this bug on Omni Rom Nightly 4.4, namely build omni-4.4.2-20140312-yuga-NIGHTLY, it's that all sound (music, notifications) plays on wired handset, except in-call sound. Even the end-of-call tone can be heard, but no sound from the caller (incoming/outgoing) is heard.
I'd be grateful if someone pointed me toward some solution to this, or has info regarding the issue, as I'm a new Omni Rom user, and so far I'm very satisfied and I'd like to keep on with it for daily usage.
Thanks in advance,
Kind Regards
Edit: Issue still present on build 20140313.

Noise Reduction

Hello Friends!
I've a Problem with my phone.
When i call someone, other side hears too much noise or they hear their own voice.
When i use headphones or speaker then there is no sound.
I am on latest OTA but the problem remains the same.
There is some problem with the Noise Reduction but i could not find anywhere how to solve this problem.
Please help!
Well I don't have this issue but i'm sure the phone has something wrong in sound/mics!
Try to film a video and see how bad the sound recording is! It's like the back mic is closed or muffled!
I have the same issue plus on a headset the sound is unbearably loud even on 0 level

Active Noise cancelation on Moto Custom Rom's

Has anyone noticed the call quality on Moto Stock Rom's.
Active noise cancellation during calls. I had to switch CM 12 due to some unavoidable flash accident. During which I noticed. Call voice clarity is different in CM and Stock ROM. Do we have some Mod to enable active noise cancelation on Moto XP CM builds.

:fingers-crossed:
Moto X play Active Noise cancellation is called Crystal Talk feature.

Disable noise cancellation

Hi all, I have the verizon moto e4 prepaid 7.1.1 phone and I do alot of audio recording. I am struggling to find a solution on this forum or the world wide web.
So I know that there is noise cancellation feature but it seems make my audio recordings sound distorted. Here is an example of what I mean and the video shows a solution on the PC.

Is there any way of us going into a setting to disable this or is there a custom app that someone has built to disable noise cancellation from Qualcomm.
Its so frustrating that the audio is clear and then it becomes distorted.
I am sure others have noticed this.
Thanks
