Alarm snoozes automatically after 1 minute - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys - so I've noticed that the Alarm snoozes after 1 minute automatically. Is there anyway to change this and have it play continuously until I stop it or snooze it?
Thanks!

Alarm is not working

I can not add alarm entry on my Android install. Is this an unkown issue?
Where should I report bugs?
Download app called zedge ringtones & wallpaper
search for alarm ringtones choose the ones you want and assign it to alarm

1st: report in thread were you get the build
2nd: are always the same?
I didn't download it from a thread but a webpage http://gamesquare.co.uk. it alayys do it.
No go to zedge select downloads tab select Ringtones if you already downloaded some select one of the ringtones from your list that you want you will see a tab that says Set click it and choose alarm when you go to alarm clock you will be able to assign different ones

Did you delete the HTC lockscreen? Have to delete the HTCWorldClock as well and install default clock or an alarm app from market...
...from the XDA app on my HD2
my install does not have any HTC software. it is a plain Froyo build. I have the default clock/alarm installed. But I am using LauncherPro though. I didn't see an option to stop the alarm.
I ran into that today I hit something on the screen that hid the dismiss button had to set another alarm for it to appear and turn it off

Have you set it again to see if something pops up ?

+1 - I'm using Alarm Clock Plus v2 from Market. No problem dismissing alarms with it.

[Q] Access 3rd Party Alarm App from pull down

If I pull down the settings menu it shows what time the alarm is set for which I set in my 3rd party alarm app but if press the alarm 'button' in the pull down it takes me to the default JB alarm app where there are no alarms set!!
Is there anyway to make this button default to my 3rd Party Alarm App?

Limit background processes. Would it prevent alarm wake-up?

I'm noticing lag after some time. I'm wondering if I limit background processes to 4, would it prevent alarm from starting.
Is alarm an background process?

Testing it would be one way to be sure.
