Galaxy note 3 firmware question

Hi. Does anyone know what the difference between these two firmwares for galaxy note 3 are? N9005XXUBMJ3 and N9005XXUBMJ1.

As per the change list what I see it's the same no changes at all

I see one of the firmwares has J1 at the end and the other one has j3. So they are the same? No changes?

From a user perspective, they are the same. I'm told one of these enables the warranty void (knox) counter on the device as some carriers were shipped the device without this counter. Whether true or not, I'm unsure but I'm told this was the case. Maybe a seasoned vet here on the forums could comment.

[Q] 11/5/13 OTA Update Recieved

Hi I'm new to the Note 3,
I received an update this morning. I'm also on verizon....
The build number is now JSS15J.N900VVRUBMJ7
Verizon has no information, i cant seem to find any information posted as to what was changed. It was a rather large file, I don't know exactly how big.
Anyone have any info?

Now I get it. The OP's update is the Verizon equiv of the recent Sprint update. It did fix the issues.

Ran my update too (through help/status) and I am on Verizon as well. However my build number then changed to:
JSS15J.N900VVRUBMJ7
I wonder why the difference?

Another new update 12/12/13: Verizon - build now goes from JSS15J.N900VVRUBMJ7 to JSS15J.N900VVRUBMJE. Does anyone know what this update does? Anyone have the changelog?

I've done codes like this before on other phones. This is doing nothing. I even tried hitting send and I got a Verizon error message.
Must need to be rooted?

BTU, has it put you off?

This thread is to discuss England BTU UK, delay
With the delay, and still no sign of the release, has this put you off the note series, other phones are coming out with bigger screens,
Would the Sony or HTC series be better supported for BTU?, or do you think this is just a one off?
As annoyed as I am about the delay,I will stay with the note series, the better battery life, and screen quality wins for me.I don't use the spen much at all, so it's all about size.

Note 3 showing only 2 gb ram in total

Hi all,
I have got a sm-n9005 from london 2 weeks back and now i am in india i updated it to 4.4.2 stock but when i checked my ram today i got shocked when i saw only 2 gb ram in total, i talked to customer support in india but they said they don't give warranty here for phone purchased in uk . Can anybody help me if there is something i can do on my own to fix or it or anything else.

The note 3 only has about 2.35 gb of ram. Is that what your are seeing because that is normal.

Yes i know but mine is showing 2 gb in total. And usable is around 1.7 or 1.8

Yeah, that's not normal. I don't know how it would get like that since all Note 3's ship with "3 gb".

Isn't there a fake/clone Note3 being sold? Also isn't there a downgraded model note3?I know when I was in the s4 there was a s4 fake being sold.

I have already checked everything its not clone it has original s-pen moreover snapdragon 800 and adreno 330 but i don't know why the ram is 2 gb.
Its not a downgraded one i am damn sure about that.

If it is an original spen with wacom digitizer screen and you only have only 2gb ram, most probably you are using the lower version of note 3 called note 3 neo which only comes with 2gb ram.
Your device code should start with N7505 or something like that. Check your about phone.

Actually it came up with 4.3 jellybean from london and i have ota updated it to 4.4.2 kitkat in india do you think the problem was there ??
And i have to reflash the 4.4.2 file you have given in the link via odin ??

Lte on SM-N900W8

I have a note 3 n900w8 in Pakistan.. The supported Lte frequencies doesn't include 1800 mhz.. However in Pakistan all the lte carriers are offering on 1800mhz..is there anyway I can make lte work here in Pakistan on this phone?

LTE Not working.
Hi bro I'm also from Pakistan and using N9005 LTE. I'm also facing the issue. Did you get your phone working on LTE yet? If so then kindly tell me. I'm using Zong network.
