This thread is to discuss England BTU UK, delay
With the delay, and still no sign of the release, has this put you off the note series, other phones are coming out with bigger screens,
Would the Sony or HTC series be better supported for BTU?, or do you think this is just a one off?
As annoyed as I am about the delay,I will stay with the note series, the better battery life, and screen quality wins for me.I don't use the spen much at all, so it's all about size.

Hey guys,
Not sure if you've had a chance to check out the Galaxy Note 2 release video by Samsung but there are some awesome new features. Do you think we would be getting the easy bar multitasking ported to our gs3?

I am sure the Gnote 2 has a thread for it!! I honestly don't think they are going to give us all the features of the Gnote 2 to keep it seperated from our devices

Let's wait and see if someone can manage that. Afterall we already have the modified camera and gallery apps from note 2
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
You can flash Galaxy Note's camera and gallery in FoxHound.
Guys the reason for thread is to sample peoples opinion on this two phones to find out which one is better since am torn in between decision of which one is better and more powerful.

Please add Samsung Galaxy S III to the title too, cause I'm interested in the devices too. Thanks

Note II looks like a better choice hardware wise if only the size is not a problem for you (for me it's too bulky). In Nexus 4 battery life and camera are not very impressive. It also lacks sd card slot. If you're fine with it then take N4 for best rom support. Agree Galaxy 3 should be also considered with its vulnerability being the only drawback in my opinion.

I can't choose lol!

Note II....:good:
there are so many "it depends" which only you know for yourself.... so every our advice will base on our own opinion... like "Note II is too big" or "S III has not big screen enough"... so put your pro's and con's in two rows, add available $$$ in your pocket and here you go )))
Buy Note 2!
I looked at it deeper, and i found out Note 2 is better than Nexus4 and SGSIII.
Bigger screen (1080p) and better speakers.

Its not almost 1080p and how does a bigger screen make the resolution higher ? :S

Thanks guys, just needed to know from experiences of people who have got their hands on this phones.

I would have picked Note II because it has a better camera, better sound,s pen. Does not appear in the throttling which occurs in the nexus 4
720p not 1080p

my friend, they all have HD720p not full HD 1080p.
If you support closed binary drivers which result in vendor dependency go buy any Samsung, if you want the latest Roms/android versions, the right to choose and maybe getting into Rom development then a nexus is your device.
I've got the n4 and I'm very happy with it but I like to build roms, cherry pick features and play around with the phone.
It's your decision

usage
note II!! definitely!! but depend on what you want to use. i like note II for it features, mainly for works(bigger screen for reading), s-pen to take note, etc etc.. but for game.. i dont know.
I am running ParanoidAndroid 2.99 with Pie features on my Note2 and it is a terrific phone. The nexus 4 is a league lower, bad camera and battery life. Two things I care about most in my phone except for it's "smartness"
note 2 is better
As you all can see with the new 4.3 update rolling in india, the note 2 lacks many of its successors features such as the new camera, s pen features etc
Since the original Note got all of the EXCLUSIVE note 2 features when it was upgraded to JB i find Samsung to be equally responsible to do so for our Note 2
Therefore i implore you to sign this thread and after reaching a certain number of votes i will send the thread's link to samsung

I think the best case scenario is that Samsung release note 3 features to us in the form of another 'premium suite' upgrade like that of note 1. We must definitely get the upgrades somehow, because to my knowledge when consumers purchase a phone, the promise of future upgrades and R&D are included in the cost. Hence it is only reasonable we get it!

Do you really honestly think Samsung give a toss about us.
They are just as bad as Apple and the rest of the huge corporations only after one thing, making money, the only way you will get note 3 stuff is either via XDA developers hard work or buy a note 3.

I agree with Foka, this got tried when we wanted an update for the Motorola Atrix - it doesn't work! XDA users are probably 0.5% of samsungs customer base...if that!
What do you think would be the best option

One of the reason i want to do it is i hate touchwiz but samsung is a beast of a phone. With htc i always love htc and sense. From what i read also is the note 3 is lock down so hard that its next to impossible to unlock the bootloader to do anything fun with the phone so what you guys think
Sent from my SM-N900V using xda app-developers app
Snapdragon 600, 2 gb of RAM, and haphazard fingerprint scanner implementation tell me that Note 3 is better for me. The unlockable bootloader is tempting though.

I need the sd card and replaceable battery so n3 for me but I thought about both the max and LG g2

So android 5.0 lollipop ci.es out tomorrow. And there's no hope for us with the locked bootloader

Haven't kept up, but if it is GPE it is possible. Don't discount our DEVS--:good:
Also, won't it be 5.0. Think it has been seen on S5--
Several sites talk about this, here's one--
Gpe in my opinion aren't as stable. They lack USB mounting and other details. I don't doubt our devs. It's just they GOD DAMIT I HATE LOCKED BOOTLOADERS!!
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I know GPE has a couple flaws--but 5.0 will get here--
Are we at least any closer to an exploit or unlock at the bootloader?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Saw a thread on it by muniz-ri, I believe. But not close--imo
I read something about someone having a hack because he supposedly hack the moto something and the hack also applies to s4 and s5 bootloader . I just don't know when he feel like it will be a good time to release it lol
