Is there any MOD or means adding a lock screen button to the N5 status bar? I prefer using such soft button to pressing the power button. Thanks.
I use this app on all my android devices.

Xposed + gravity box also allows you to add hardware key actions, I added double tap on back button within 200ms puts phone to sleep. Together with dt2w this is amazing

I saw a video of huawei ascend mate which also has softkeys but you can tap on a down button on softkeys to hide them and with a swipe up gesture they come back again it will be really cool to have it on xperia z if any developer ports it.

i use gmd hide soft keys its great
Can't you use an option for expanded desktop?
Gmd soft keys are not like huawei implementation. Its like normal keys+ hide it at your own will and enable at ur own will just by a swipe

I use Power Toggles from the market making the quick-settings toggles unneeded and a huge waste of space. I have searched and tested every S5 xsposed module, but none of them provide the option for removal. Has anyone figured this out yet?
Thanks
You can remove the single line in Alliancerom leaving the button that shows all in place just in case you wanted something

Hiding the top row would be perfect, unfortunately Alliance rom is not yet available on sprint. Can you explain how it's done?
I am not sure whether this have been posted, but i just like to share it here.
Power key too high? Here's how to comfortably switch off and lock the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge from its Edge display.

I use Power Widgets from playstore. Its the best. Not only for power but many things. Thanks for posting though, that is def cool if you want power only.

Note [Edge] Powered by Android
Just use Tasker
I was going to look for an app but in the process I realized that with a combination of Nova Launcher and Tasker there is an even better solution. I can now lock the screen either by double tapping the home screen or just by long long pressing the home button.
You can also use the Assistant Menu under accessibility in settings
I m use this just shake shake and off my phone.
Shake off
Hello everyone, after much research, I have found the way to hide the navigation bar on the European model.
To do this, we need install this app https://mega.nz/#!908xCCaR!-co_qMEVwf14kXIhkgrVWJUtnajHTTfQ0S5Z0rYri6c and reboot.
After restarting, do the following steps:
1) Activate the floating button
2) Go to Settings/Touch Plus and activate the first two options
3) Back with the floating button and go back to Touch Plus
4) Disable Touch Plus
5) Disable floating button
We can hide the navbar.

It doesn't seem do anything when I tap, hold, or slide it.
How do I get rid of it?
[EDIT]
I think it's "accessibility button", when I enable settings -> accessibility -> visibility enhancements -> magnification -> tap button to magnify, then it activates screen magnification. Still looking for a solution to remove that button.
Thank you.
Ok, found it. It's "aodNotify - Lighting effect" app. Once disabled accessibility service, the button disappeared.
