I wanted to clear out the spam in the Wiki, but it looks like I can't delete pages. Is there some way to flag them for deletion?

... This thread can be removed, will put the question down somewhere else
I don't think I'm the only one here experiencing this, so thought I would put it out there, to see who else feels this way..
If you receive 3 sms message from a friend, while you have the sms window open, you still have to click on each individual message to mark it as read. Is there a way around this, rather than having to tap each individual message (which can get rather tedious when you have 6 or 7 messages from various recipients) you could just click on each recipient and have all the previous message from that person, be automatically marked as read?
Perhaps a hotfix type of thing..?
Yea I also get this... but can happen even if I get 1 message and I read it... still shows as its been unread... can be very annoying!
true true... I wonder if there is a fix for this?
And annoying is in threaded mode it hard to click the individual messages as read, also hard to go back and delete the half of the thread from yesterday and day before
we need more people to feel the same way, then find someone with the skills to make us happy, then we can torture them to fix it till we smile!!
old post but has there been a hotfix for this yet?
MOD EDIT
Moved to general discussion as not related to Themes, Applications and Software
There's this:

Works for me
Is there a possible regedit, which could allow us to delete emails in the preview mode (the same way we can delete, forward, or reply in the preview mode of SMS text messages)? It would be nice if we didn't have to open every single email in order to delete it. Anyone have a workaround for eliminating this extra step? Thanks if you've got one to share.
I would also like to know this. A way of marking an email as read from the preview would be helpful too.
Thirded.
This would be awesome.
Yeah! I would also like this.
Been asked before, but yes I would like this too!! Having to open an email to have it marked as read is annoying when you have quite a few that you dont actually need to read in detail there and then!!
I'm interested also
Still no clue ?
Anything on this yet ?
I assume there is no answer to this as the question seems to have been asked in other HTC forums, with no obvious solution.
If I read new SMS Text Messages from the Sense interface, they get marked as read.
If I read new eMail Messages from the Sense interface, they don't get marked as read, so I have to open the Windows Mobile eMail client and read them, just to mark them as read.
If there was some way of marking them as read from Sense, that surely make more sense? Even if it could be done from a menu option, or a button on the screen perhaps. But to have no option at all makes no sense...
S2U2 v2.34 has the option you want.
"S2U2 v2.34 has the option you want."
I am looking for the same thing - sorry what do you mean by "S2U2 v2.34"?
And I agree I have no idea why this is not there already? :-S
Just seen the thread about a new ROM.
My ROM is the last Offical Jan one and I am interested especially in an updated Radio so want to update.
BUT I have a number of important SMS on the phone that I wish to keep.
How do I back them up, flash to a new ROM, then restore them please?
this has been asked a ridiculous amount of times. search
I really bloody hate when people feel the need to post this - on XDA more than any other forum I frequent.
I searched.
I searched this sub-forum; I searched the new Q&A section.
I read about 20 threads.
I did not get the answer I wanted.
I posted the question.
You don't want to help someone struggling, don't. Why though feel the need to intimidate posters with this?
Microsoft My Phone is what you want.

mainly because I find it hard that with a search in just HD2 General for "backup sms" you couldn't find anything out of the 85 threads that pop up. You hate when people say to search, a lot of people hate it when people ask questions that have been asked/answered a lot.
Here's a hint: don't use the top search where it shows a magnifying glass & a sprocket, right at the very beginning of the list of threads there's an item that says "search this forum". it shows on every forum & every post & is much better.
Here are a list of programs that work:
Jeyo Mobile Companion
SPB Backup
PIMbackup
M$ MyPhone
I personally use Jeyo, though it isn't free. It backs them up to M$ Outlook & you can restore as well.
Thank you both.
As it happens I do also have a wry chuckle when someone posts a question that has been asnwered 3 threads down - but it is the slightly sneery need to dive in and smack a person down who is obviously just after some help from people who have been there and done it and does sometimes get on my wick [as it obviously did yesterday ]
You could also use PIM Backup.
