Hi Everyone,
So far I'm enjoying 4.3, but there's this annoying stuttering animation when switching tabs in Samsung's stock browser and clearing the data didn't help. so Is this a known bug in 4.3 or is it just me? don't know why Samsung loves to animate switching tabs
Thanks!

Go to Apps - Settings - More - Developer options (If u dont have it actived, only go About device and tap 6 o 7 times the option: Build number). In Developer Options take a look Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, Animator duration scale and put it all in 0.5x or 0. This will help ya and will speed up ur phone too :highfive:
Same here. Not only when switching tabs but also when scrolling a page. This occurred after the first update to 4.3 (XXUEMJ7 and XXUEMK8 ). It's becoming a bit annoying...

Hi everyone, was watching some youtube videos about launcher 7 and found this one
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNDOeMJN-u0&feature=player_embedded
Im looking to get the transition animation effect this guy has when he goes back to the home screen, I donated to get the full version but still dont seem to get the option to get that.
also does anyone know how to get the animated contacts tile ?
thanks a lot !!
As far as I know, it's the only transition animation of Launcher7. What you can do in the settings is to lower the speed of the animation. I guess the SGS2 is just too fast for it

Pretty sure its a different animation
Hey guys,
What's the difference between Window Animation scale and Transition animation scale? I set the window animation scale to 5 to see what's the difference but I cannot really tell?
Window is how fast the popups for things like as a example notification choosing, transition is going from menu to menu(with animations turned on)
1x is normal speed, 0.5 is twice as fast and 10 is 10 times as slow

Played with window animation and it seems that its not used as much as the transition animation.

When setting the value lower (number wise) the animations are done faster, such as windows coming in and out of view etc (doesn't effect scrolling) I think home scrolling is effected though
When setting the value higher (number wise) the animations are presented alot slower, I set the value to 5 that you were using, from the Default (1), and all the animations were HELL! slow haha! Painful to use, felt boggy
Transition Animation numbers effect when windows come in and out of view such as opening settings, applications etc
The window animation is the windows "inside windows" that come in and out of view, such as if you set window animation to 10, and then go to the home page and press your settings button so it displays "Add, Wallpapers, Search, Widgets" etc, it opens hell slow
As well as if the value of Window Animation Scale is 10, when you get out of everything and go back into it to change it to 1 (Default) again, the window that opens that shows x.5 | x1 | x1.5 | 2 | 2.5 etc opens heaps slowly!
That's what the difference is
Show transition animation
Hi all,
How can i enable back the animations?
I played a little with all the options (x1, x0.5, x10 etc) just to see the differences. Then I selected the first option ("none"/"off") for Windows animation scale and Transition animation scale and then these 2 options became inactive. I cannot enable them back. I have an HTC One V.
Please advice.

me too, using htc one v, i can't turn it back on though have reset it to factory default both from the power button and volume down while booting, or from the storage factory data reset setting.
i contacted HTC support but they simulated my problems and still be able to turn the windows animation scale and transition scale back on after being switched off.
Guys I felt the phone was buttery smooth, but on certain occasions I.e. lock screen ripple transition into opening your home screen and toggling between messages in the messaging app, the transition would s stutter just a tiny bit. Problem is solved if you go into:1. Settings-> developer options-> and Window animation scale and Transition Animation scale -> change both of those to .5xThe phone now runs like the beast it was born to be. Try it and let make know your thoughts. Regards, Nik
Well the fourth thread here in general section is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705007 it would have been better if you had noticed it.

Hi
Anyone knows how to solve the bug of the camera? Everytime I open it, it resets my transition animation scale option under the developer settings. I use 0, no animations, but if I open the camera, it resets to 1.
I noticed when phone reboots...the transition animation goes back to x1 as well...
Edit: confirmed on my device as well...opening camera resets it to x1 again.

Anyone know how to fix this?
Anyone know how to fix this?
Pretty annoying to have to keep changinf animation scale back every time I open the camera.
exists on the Note 10.1 2014 Edition
I can confirm this same problem exists on the Note 10.1 2014 Edition
Anyone with a fix for this. Driving me crazy.
Opening camera resets the transition animation scale to 1.0 in developer options.
Hi there, the Transition animation scale (Setting - General - Developer Options - Transition animation scale) of my N900 becomes reset to value 1 after each reboot, however the other two scale settings keep the value I set, how can I solve this issue?
I'm on N900 32gb rooted with CF-Auto

Same here.... I hear somewhere that is tied to the camera that even if you don't reboot and use the camera it will revert back. Don't know how true that is though.
Some Devsettings do that. Background process limit does it, too.
Has been that way since at least 4.0.3. (might be longer but my TF700 came with 4.0.3 so I can't say. )
When using stock camera, animation scale resets to 1x. Only stock, it does not reset when using ProCapture, FV5, Shotcontrol or ZoomFX.

Umm, is there a fix for this? I've been looking all over and pretty much everyone is just saying, "deal with it."
I'd rather not.
Edit: apparently it was fixed with the MJ7 update but I don't want to lose root by taking any updates so I guess I'll have to deal with it until (hopefully) someone figures out a way to do remedy this on the back end.
