Yes. It is, provided there's enough space on your sd card. And you can restore any backup anytime you want. I myself have 5 backups.

I have rooted using the CF_Auto_Root method and I have some questions.
1. Can I use mobile Odin Pro to flash a recovery from the dev section?
2. Is it possible to restore back to stock using a nandroid backup?

Andromizer is easiest, Android terminal,philz recovery. Or use root explore and copy efs folder

Anybody who lost baseband ,imei ect after restoring cwm backup,just dirty flash your original ROM zip over the top of your backup and all will be restored?
