Running Nemesis One on Galaxy Y. The problem I am experiencing is that when I use Google Voice Search, there is No speech heard. Also the application with voice inputs like Assistant, Talking Tom, and Speech to Text are not working. I have tried recording Video, but I found that it is recording video only. There is no Audio. Now, it's obvious to think that maybe there is some problem with the hardware, i.e. the microphone.
But I have been making calls and there is absolutely no problem with that.
I think there is a software glitch there, because a few days back, it used to work perfectly.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank You.
Try change kernel....

Kernel is good. It used to work a few days back. I don't know if some app is creating problems or the OTA. I have also flashed thunder-script.
But I am not sure what could be the reason.
See kernel is never bugless it sumtyms might develop a bug due to incompatibility or sum other problem...try reflashing or changing ur kernel ... Dont worry u wont lose data..

I have the Sprint version stock LG g2 and can not find an answer to headphone button issue. Not matter what set I use I can not get it to skip or pause track. One click goes to dailer two clicks calls last person. Hold the button goes to voice command. I have tried every app I could find. Nothing works. Best I can get is a set from galaxy s3 and s4 will control volume but button does same thing. I keep reading online that s4 set works perfect. Any ideas I really don't want to root if possible

Same problem here. I rooted yesterday, but still don't know how to resolve the issue.
Just seams with as many people that use there phones for music, Pandora, etc that LG would have fix for this. I love the phone. I think it's the best one I have had in a long time but music lovers have to hate this issue and hope a fix is found.

I too can't believe that this is not a widely known issue. I have looked through all of the stock settings and have not found any control for this. I have also looked through several Xposed modules and found nothing.
Now after KitKat my favourite call recording (ACR) stopped working. They are aware and told that Note3 users with KitKat cannot use their program.
Is there a good program that I can use for call recording?
Maybe is possible to use this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2621791
But I am a newb, would rather have simple instruction on how to add the feature.
Or an app.

yes 2-3 program I checked all the same problem ...
I saw a report from a user that he managed to get call recording worked on KK by using ''call recorder'' app by skvalex. He used a beta version of the app (1.5.3 alpha04) and you can easily find it here on XDA. He also stated that he played with the settings of the app and he got it worked by choosing ''amr'' sound format from the app options/settings! Didn't check it by myself as I don't have KK on phone yet but everyone who needs it badly, they don't have anything better to do but keep trying options!

WORKS, WORKS, WORKS!!!!!!
Just tried the app from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441643&page=285) and its working flawlessly (version: 1.5.3 alpha05)
I installed the app and rebooted the phone.
First call after reboot didn't record but after that all was working.
2 way records works perfectly and i didn't even have to change the output to AMR (default and AMR settings works though)
Just for clarification, running Note 3 (N9005), Crash Rom and im rooted
Glad that it worked and nice report

ACR & non root call recording
Call Recording issues with Note 3 Android 4.4 Kitkat
copluk created an issue 2014-02-02
We have gathered that if your KitKat update build date is earlier than 14th January 2014 call recording will not work anymore, when you try ACR or any other call recorder, you will only hear a static noise from all "Audio sources". This seems to be an unintentional bug.
Fortunately Samsung seems to have fixed this issue later on, we were able to confirm with few users that starting from Russian KitKat update for Note3 with build date 14th January 2014 and kernel version 3.4.39-376474 (see attached screnshot) call recording works as usual. If you have LTE version, check if your kernel version is above 3.4.39-376474.
UPDATE on 24/02/2014 It seems above information applies to Note3 NON LTE version. From comments to this article I can see that even the updates in February for LTE version of Note3 hasn't got changes merger to it.

Hi,
I'm on Kitkat and use this from dr Ketan (donate version), no need to root your device.
Very good, both end point voices are clearly recorded and no limit on recording file size.

Total recall
The best of the best .

Extremely thankful for your fast reply , also can u let me know is we can hide the call recording display while the call is active, is there any warning sign that is heard by other party
The recording start before dial tone activated so u may heard dial tone in record files. The recording display is something forgetable but I personally made request to Dr Ketan for it to be hidden / removed in the future though and he said he will see what he can do as it might be needed so it won't get closed by Android OS accidentally while recording.

K thanks again , it's fine if the recording gets started early but I was asking if the other party gets to know that a call is being recorded by a beep or any other warning

As far as I'm concerned any beep will be recorded if there were any cause recording start before phone is connected. So far no beep is recorded on my record files.

If not rooted the location is in internal SD on folder Voice, if rooted it will be on external SD on folder Sounds. Protecting or not protecting is matter of to protect or not the folder mentioned. For me since my device is always encrypted and need password everytime screen wakes up it wouldn't matter.

hey guys
completely new to the rooting of phones but managed to get it complete using vroot. I have played with it a bit. made it fun and custom but still have not figured out how to get what I was really trying to accomplish rooting my phone. I am really into Pandora and music listening in my car. I do not have bluetooth capabilities however I do have a USB media hub. like everyone else iPhone works just great plugged in but not my loved now rooted note 3. I have made progress by atleast having it recognized on the stereo by rooting the phone and using a USB Mass storage app however I still cannot get sound.... it still plays out the phone speaker. is there a app or mod or setting I can install or change to make this work? like I said I am fully a noob to this and all though I am learning and enjoy learning how to do this stuff I'm stuck. heck I may have put this in the wrong section too. any advise... tips ect would be greatly appreciated. also any apps recommended since I have now rooted. thank you

To be honest never had this problem I use mine in my pickup and work truck with no issues. Are you using the stock Samsung music app or play music? If so try downloading Apollo music or just a different type of music player in general. Also are you on stock firmware or using a custom rom ? It may also be something in the software.
I rooted it using vroot so I could download a USB Mass storage app and thought that would solve it. it does not say connected and supported but using Pandora it still only plays from phone speaker while hooked up via usb. is there a setting

Search viper4android on xda. That hack is best for boosting the volume.
You can also try this but it is a bit risky.
