Hello, i have seen 2 Odin versions, the Odin3v185 and the Odinv307. Can you tell me the differences?
Also, flashing a stock rom with Odin does not trip the Knox counter is that right?
And there is no counter on Note 3 for Odin flashes, is that right too?
Thanks

You can flash stock rom with odin as much as you like knox will be fine, odin 3.07 is for note 3 or 3.09
Thanks for this. Differences between the 2 Odin versions?

I have upgraded from stock MJ3 to MJ6 BTU using Odin
Due to some instability I tried to revert and flash my MJ3 stock. It failed 3 times. I resigned and flashed MJ6 again and that went well.
Why can't I downgrade to MJ3??

otherwise it should work but somehow it doesnt !!!
Hi I recently root my note 3 SM-N900 with CF-AutoRoot, so when I go to Download Mode this is the information that it show me:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N900
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
So I can´t see the Knox counter 0x1,
so I think that if it don´t show the information of Knox maybe it is not void the warranty, but I´m not sure.
now here are my questions
1. How to unroot and back to Official Stock Firmware?
2. If I unroot my note 3 can I use again Knox or not?
thanks for the help, and sorry for my bad english.
Have a nice day.
Flash the official firmware via Odin and it will unroot it. But I'm pretty sure if you used cf autoroot... Your knox will be 0x1

Ok I will try.
one more thing how can I update via OTA, when I try it say that it cant update because I have a Custome Firmware.
Man, you have the old Exynos boot loader which hasn't any knox flag, if you're gonna flash something make sure it's not the newest firmware (MJ7) via Odin or you'll update your boot loader which has a bit counter similar to the knox one, just custom Roms I'd recommend you.

Yea you'll be ok with this. It's the old bootloader

Whatever you do ."DO NOT UPDATE " . Continue using the same rom .once you update via OTA , YOU will never be able to downgrade to lower rom and worst a warranty bit will be activated which will make you loose warranty for life.irreversible

Sup guys. I have a couple of questions:
Knox is tripped if i flash a stock rom from my region via odin?
If the baseband is not the same from the stock rom from sammobile, i have the correct baseband if i flash the baseband from odin knox is tripped?
If i do that still can have updates via OTA?
thanks for the help.

Already read that, but stating my doubts are:
-Even if you flash a KNOX-enabled firmware via odin (e.g. the latest fw) knox will be set to 0x1
-Flashing unsigned or modified images via odin will set knox to 0x1

If i flash an official samsung rom from sammobile, knox is triggered...?

Hi guys,
I have a N910C arriving in 2 days and I'm looking for the most stable lollipop rom for it.
I found one from Poland on sammobile, but I believe it has carrier bloatware.
Also, the steps would be root, custom recovery, and flash. Am I correct?
Thanks
Yes, install that 5.0.1 from Poland and that's all...
Just Download Odin app and flash even without root.

Nope, it's official so It doesn't trip Knox counter. Also it doesn't have any kind of bloatware so flash it and enjoy your new phone!

Can I still run CF Autoroot after flashing LP? Will this trip the counter?
Thanks again guys.

Yes rooting will change Knox counter to 0x1
One last question guys
How's the battery and the performance of lp compared to stock KK?
Thanks!

Hi All
I have rooted my note 3 with odin successfully, I was looking to install CWM but couldn't find the exact TAR file for the n9005 on lollipop 5.0.
I installed ROM manager which suggests there inst currently a compatible CWM I can use, the only device showing is hlte?
Does anyone have a link if one exists..
Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure hlte is supposed to work with N9005, N900A, N900T and N900P as well as N900W8. I think its unified for all snapdragon note 3s
I think your bootloader needs to be unlocked

You cannot / don't have to unlock a Samsung bootloader on SM-N9005. You use ODIN to flash the recovery and you are set. I would suggest this one btw. https://idlekernel.com/twrp/v6.6.5_2016_01_03/
That is incorrect it will fail when attempted
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
It's absolutely correct and the way I did it! SM-N9005 is NO US Verizon crap phone, it's OPEN for ANY modification and just causes KNOX 0x1! IF it's no N9005, then you are absolutley right, there are some variants from ATT and Verizon which are locked and you have to verify that.
