Upgrade xt1097 pure edition brazilian via ota

TUTORIAL : How to install Android Lollipop in Moto X 2014 ( OTA version )
The soak test Moto X 2014 Brazilian started recently, and the * Unders Techtraz , exclusively, the update file to the Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Motorola device!
The package has 590MB * * and can be easily installed through the smartphone recovery mode, without bootloader unlocked or root . The only requirement is the system version , the smartphone must be version * KXE21.187-30.3 * If your Moto X 2014 has this version of the system just download the file * here * and follow the tutorial below. :

Step 1: * Turn off your Moto X and then press the button * Volume down * and * the power button * by * 2 * a * 3 seconds until a menu appears .
Step 2: * * Use the volume down button to scroll to the * * * Recovery option and the volume up button * * to select the option ;
Step 3: * The device will display the logo of Motorola and then Android with open belly ; Long press * to * increase * volume button for 10-15 seconds. Then click and the * power button quickly release ;
Step 4: * The unit will display an additional menu in blue. Go to the option * zip from sdcard apply * and select the update file and wait for the application to be completed ;
Ready , your phone already has the latest version of Android available from Motorola !
NOTES:
- If your system version is different from the mentioned in the post, you can apply the ROM with the aforementioned version, which is available here * .

O soak test do Moto X 2014 brasileiro começou recentemente, e o*Unders Techtraz, com exclusividade, o arquivo do update para o Android 5.0 Lollipop para o dispositivo da Motorola!
O pacote tem*590MB*e pode ser instalado facilmente através do modo recovery do smartphone, sem a necessidade de bootloader destravado ou root. 1º Passo:*Desligue o seu Moto X e em seguida pressione o botão de*diminuir volume*e*o botão de energia*por*2*a*3 segundos até aparecer um menu.

4º Passo:*O aparelho mostrará um menu adicional em azul. Vá até a opção*apply zip from sdcard*e selecione o arquivo do update e aguarde a aplicação ser concluída;
Pronto, seu celular já está com a versão mais recente do Android disponibilizada pela Motorola!

Have you tried going to Trust Agents (Advanced, in Security Options) and enabling Smart Lock (Google). After that I can see the Smart Lock option.

Go to Settings > Security > Scroll down, open Trusted agents and enable it.

Guys, thanks for your answers. With this version (6.5.88) installed, that option disappeears too from the tab Trusted Agents.
I think that the problem is this version was made for another types of devices and android versions (320 dpi and 4.4 respectively). I will have to wait until Google releases a new update compatible with my device and with Android 5.0.

Hi there! I've a XT1097 from movistar chile and to use this OTA you have to flash retail brasil firmware first, via mfastboot avalaible on MOTO X BRASIL forum
then, you follow the guide on this thread and you're done
good signal, 4g works, no problems so far

I installed it on my moto x that has link with operator, follow the tutorial to the letter and so far not encountered any problems in the installation, everything went perfectly fine and normal. Mine has is the timbr version has link with Tim but worked perfectly.

I tried to install he second rom via recovery but it failed, I have a xt1097 by chilean carrier claro.

Some days ago I rooted my h520G (Chile), after that (some days) I restore via LG tool with a KDZ (H520G Peru) and now I cant install root via KingRoot 4.5, I dont know why. Im waiting for a new script. Good luck

I have the same problem, i have to re-install the firmware and the only one i found is h520g10a_02 but with this installed i can´t root
Tengo h520g de entel y primero lo hice root sin problemas con kingroot. luego se quedó pegado al encender y tuve que flashear otro firmware que encontré, el h520g10a_02 pero con es firmware no me deja rootear.
Alguna solución?

I went through the exact same situation, and, good news, I just solved it last week:
When you flash the .kdz (like the peruvian Claro ROM, which I also tried), there's a catch: the ROM flash re-locks your phone to the local network. I re-flashed an up-to-date Entel ROM (this time Android 5.0.2 instead of Claro's 5.0.1), but KingRoot was still refusing to work.
I went to Argentina, bought a SIM to use while on vacation, and found out that the reflash had locked my phone.
Instead of paying 30 dollars to get the phone unlocked, I contacted LG support, told them that I needed to unlock my phone to use it with foreign networks; gave them my IMEI, they quickly mailed back the unlock code and the instructions to unlock the phone (saving me some money in the process).
Rebooted, re-tried KingRoot, and it worked! Then I ran the script to replace KingRoot with SuperSU, and voilà - LG Magna LTE rooted, unnecessary apps removed, now it works like a charm.
I hope this has been useful for anyone following this thread. When in doubt, some old-fashioned diplomacy can save you a few bucks

Hey!
I have the same model. I had locked bootloader and stock rom till this morning. I finally converted my phone to xt1097 and now am running android 6.0 without any problems. i had to use a lot of different guides. So i am compiling all the steps that i did for simplicity. I will post it here within the next 6 hrs.

Brazilians are having issues with Sensors after M update

Hello everyone ! I've been having issues with the sensors since I've joined the BETA program. I knew that this was not a problem with my phone per se, because if I went back to lollipop everything worked. I did see other people with the same issue, however, it wasn't until today, when the M update came public that I noticed something.

Lol why the specific Brazilian having issues
I don't have any issues and i am not Brazilian

I'm Brazilian and can confirm. Sensors are not working and audio notes on whatsapp are terrible (in other apps it seems ok). I'm on stock and did a hard reset.

I'm not from Brazil, but I can't be sure where my phone is from. Is there a way to determine if my phone was made in Brazil? Maybe something in the "Hardware information" section?

Hello, I saw on the forum that some people updated on Brazil and that they had no problem in sensors. I wonder which version of who Updated from 1.8ghz or the 2.3GHz?
My theory and how many variations of ZF2, the problem can is isolated in one. If we find we can warn others to upgrade.

A minha teoria e que como a muitas variações do zf2, o problema pode está isolado em uma delas. Se identificarmos podemos avisar os outros para atualizarem.

Same here. Had to roll back to Lollipop.

I have both, 2.3 for me, and 1.8 for my wife .... both with sensors problem.

Já tentei o mobile Q mas ainda não detectou nenhuma actualização... Talvez ainda estejam a actualizar o S e só depois actualizem o Y...

Can you unlock and install TWRP?
If you made it i can tell you the images to upload and with that i can create a flash zip like i made with 6039S...
