[Q] Download stock PHN rom for GT-I9505 - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
As I mentioned in the title, where can I download the stock rom for Netherlands unbranded (PHN) XXUEMK8 after Hotfile was closed?
If anyone has the download link I'd like to have it please.
Moreover, in what stock roms for GT-I9505 is Hebrew included in the language list?
Thanks

Try AndroidFirmwares.net and/or Samsung-Updates.com, if they don't have what you need you'll have to wait till Samfirmware is up & running again.

Thanks, now for my other question: What stock roms for I9505 include Hebrew? I know that the PHN (Netherlands) rom includes it 100% but are there more?

No idea. Someone who uses that language on stock will have to answer that question.

So I'll ask it other way: Where can I see the list of languages in each stock rom (for the I9505)?

[Q] Russian Rom first ???

I have read the thread on flashing the at&t to Russian than European. Could some one explain why the Russian first? Is there an alternative ? Just looking for clarification.
Thanks
You have to flash Russian firmware first so that Mother of Russia could 0wn your device.
I'm not even sure why I'm replying but just think about what you asked. Go back and read the AT&T thread again, I think clubtech explained in there somewhere.

It is not "russian" ROM but international. It has about 40 languages under localization option and 19 languages options for the keyboard.
For some reason the JJ4 ROM comes with russian localization that can be changed to any from selection of 40 after the first initialization.
This ROM was the first full ROM including all components of Android Froyo 2.2.
It was tested and seems to be safe for newbie.
Hope I've answered your question

Irish O2 operator PDA/Phone/CSC

Hi there!
Does any body has a values from Irish O2 operator for PDA/Phone/CSC and product code.
Trying to find them ...
What exactly do you mean? If you are trying to switch a phone from another country or want to check whether it's set up for Ireland, try *#272* (your imei number without the brackets)# This will tell you what region, should be XEU for Ireland. Post exactly what is you are looking to do.

It shows me O2I. But I've reflashed my device by Multi-CSC firmware and changed it to this value. Cos previous firmware I've used from some of Nordic countries.
I wonna reflashed back to stock firmware and need to know which one is stock for Irish O2.
I think you need to know which firmware was originally on your phone i.e. Froyo 2.2 for example. Then download the stock firmware from here for that version. If you purchased your phone since October 2010 I think it would have been Froyo 2.1 or possibly Froyo 2.2 As I said earlier, on your dialer put in *#272* followed by your phone imei number, then # This will tell you whether you are on XEU which you should be for Ireland. If you have Multi CSC on the phone you should be able to change it to XEU if needed. Why do you want to go back to the stock rom anyway?

Correct. But not only 2.2, any firmware. And then could download latest one by using Samsung Fus downlaoder.

Thanks Odia but I'm looking for the first SGS I9000
Ok,what version was on your phone when purchased? What version is on your phone now? What region is your phone set to now (see my earlier posts on how to do this)?
You won't be able to download the correct stock rom from here unless you know what version was on it when bought. For warranty, it should not make much difference unless your phone is set to a region other than Ireland.
I'm still struggling to know what it is exactly that you are trying to do, your phone has been flashed, right? What version was on before flashing and what version did you flash onto the phone?
Just thought of something, are you missing some of the provider specific apps? Is your phone rooted? Is your phone unlocked? Are you looking to return it to original status including O2 specific apps?

Phone is rooted, unlocked and I don't have any problem with any apps. Just wonna to know stock version for my operator.
It's PDA: I9000XWJS8, PHONE: I9000XXJPY, and CSC: I9000OXXJS5.
Date: 01/04/2011.
If your product code is O2i, then you got the preset UK (O2i), maybe it's for ireland and not UK?

[ROM]Official Israeli SGS2 roms (2.3.3/5/6, 4.0.3/4) (Hebrew and Arabic official ICS)

Since Suny (Samsung's official distributor in Israel) censored the links to their official roms on the Israeli owned forums I decided to open this thread so we Israeli users can have a source for downloading official roms.
All official operator roms have full Hebrew/Arabic menus and keyboards with full RTL support.

The roms will be listed from oldest to latest.
If you found this usefull, please hit the "Thanks" Button!
How To Flash Official Roms

NO!!!
We have discussion threads with links to firmware for other countries so why not Israel?
Just didn't want to double post
Can I use the links from your thread? All the Israeli community will be greatful
Yes sure, I don't mind at all.
The Israeli Android Community (IAC... ) is already grateful!
Thank you firefds for this thread and you Intratech for the sources.
You guys are doing a great job. Thank you.
The firmware archives have no password, just the stock kernel archive does.
Thank you firefds and Intratech.
Which modem included in the Orange & Pelephone roms ?
Thanks !
Firefds,
By the way, the link to the Orange Rom in the other thread is to the older rom, while yours is to the newer rom (the one with KG3 in one of its parts, rather than KG2).
It might be a good idea to ask for an update in the other thread (if the rom is indeed different).

I used the Orange one before changing the ROM. It's good.
And I believe the other 2 are good as well. No reason for them not to be.

Does DX sell phones??
Anyway, they should work on all SGS2 phones.
links are dead
please upload again
Yep, it looks like Israeli carriers are being nazi about the firmware being available. Why?
I'll work on re uploading the files but please don't go posting them on Israeli board or they will take them down again. The carriers are reporting them as breaching copyright.

Dead links on Israel Cellcom Kernel and Rom -- again

Can you please upload them?

One question guys. I am not from Israle, but I am learning Hebrew.
Is there a way to get the Hebrew language on a UK O2 phone?
I would like to add hebrew to swype and the phone itself.

If i want to go back to stock and install 4.3 from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252982 what relevance does the country make.
The latest one at present says its german and i want to use it for a uk phone, will this make any difference at all, and if it doesnt why does it specify the country?

I've used Australia firmware and tried using it in NZ, Data roaming did not work I think I had other comp ability issues as well but this was on a S2. If you change firmware to a different country it may void warranty but I'm not 100% sure on this because its still stock... Personally I wouldn't go back to 4.3 have you seen all the issues on this forums? lol

[Q] What firmware should I flash?

Hello! I want to completely reset my phone and reinstall stock ROM to my phone (GT S5360), but I'm not sure about the files that I need for that (which PDA, Modem and CSC). I'm living by now in Honduras, should I use an European version? Which one?
Thank you!
