If you read the OP of the ROM you'd like to flash the dev will recommend the recovery and method for flashing. If you read through the entire post(s) you will certainly find everything you are looking for regarding said ROM.
The answers are here. Just spend some time reading and searching.

Hey all,
I'm new to the whole Android system (was on an iPhone) so hurray! :good:
I want to install Scott's Clean Rom on my Samsung Galaxy S4 from AT&T but there are so many "ways" to do it that it becomes overwhelming in trying to find the right software.
I know I need to root the phone, install OUDHS with CWM (auto-loki'd since the ROM isn't), reboot, wipe the phone (cache too I think?) and then install the ROM.
Any help on finding the latest software (I already have the ROM ) to do all this?

Thanks for the quick reply. With this guide, I still have to use loki-doki correct?
Edit: Looks it does.
1) Are there any developers still attempting on finding a way for a custom recovery on the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 MF3 firmware? I know there is a custom recovery alternative, Safestrap, but I am talking about CWM and TWRP.
2) Will the users that soft-bricked their phone still have the problems once the new update for 4.3 comes out? Or will everything be normal again?
I've been searching for the answers for these questions for a bit now and just wanted to ask the community myself. Thanks for the responses in advance :good:

There won't be any custom recoveries besides SafeStrap yet because the MF3 firmware update patches the bootloader, to which there is currently no unlock method. In other words, no, until someone unlocks the bootloader.
If you're soft-bricked on an MF3 build then this should help you get back to factory stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2502003
Not to be a ****, but this info is easily obtainable just by reading the stickies in this and the General forum.

Sorry but I actually searched through probably 75 threads and never found an answer, but it might have been the thing that I was searching for. Thanks for the clarification though. I really appreciate it

As i can't post on the developers forum, let's do it here....
I'm coming from Jamals 4.3 Google edtition for Samsung Galaxy S4, i want to install the Jamals 4.2.2, i tried but im stuck on the google logo... let me guess, maybe my recovery is too old? Teamwin recovery. or i need to flash another kernel or something like that?
Did you do a full wipe? I highly recommend it. And upgrade your recovery indeed. Latest version is 2.6.3.1. You can find it here: http://teamw.in/project/twrp2/182 no other kernel required. But like I already said, do a full wipe
Me Gusta!

You don't need to post in the development forums for this. You are asking a question, questions unsurprisingly go in the Q&A, Help and Troubleshooting forum
answer
I tried that.. didn't work for me. Well i gave up and did a factory reset now all i want is to get a "phone" back. I'm trying to flash a stock firmware with odin versions 1.58 & 3.09 still no work..... Odin keeps freezing/crashes after just typing "please wait...." and now im confused, well, just trying to get the crap phone back on track again.... Any Clues!?
I'll start off with the phone details
Galaxy S4 GT-i9505
Provider: Optus (Australia)
Baseband:I9505XXUEMK9
I'm looking for the stock S4 recovery and ROM (JellyBean 4.3) and I cannot find them anywhere!
I recently rooted my S4, flashed CWM onto it and installed the S4 Google Edition Anrdroid 4.4.2 ROM.
I don't care if the method wipes all data, wipes root access etc, I just want stock everything so I can send my phone away under warranty.
So please, if you know a method, the location of the stock files or anything please chuck it my way.
Also if you know of any good S4 compatible 4.4.2 KitKat ROMs (Or really, really, good 4.3 ROMS) I wouldnt mind them either
Much, much, much appreciated
Sorry if this was the wrong section to post this in, but I need help and I have no idea where else this would go.

Thank you! That link helps heaps for the ROMs but I'm still looking for a stock recovery for my S4. [Edit: Does that unroot/ flash to stock firmware link include the stock recovery?]

Flashing the stock rom with Odin will unroot and install the stock recovery as well, it's included, so no need to find recovery and flash it separately.

Try this(although I'm unsure if it will flash correctly because it's 4.2.2 version) or look for "factory Firmware"

PDA.
Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out how I can install Lollipop for my SM-N900V which is rooted with TWRP and Safestrap on Baseband N900VVRUCNC4 and Build number KOT49H.N900VVRUCNC4. I've looked into ArayaMod and Jasmine but I'm super confused about how to go about the install. Do I need to flash stock 5.0 via Odin and then flash a custom ROM? Do I need to install from an SD card?
I'm pretty discouraged and I'm almost ready to just flash the stock 5.0 and lose root privileges if it's possible.
I hope this doesn't seem too vague but if someone could just point me toward a decent thread or video to give me some direction I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jeff
