Why do you create a new topic - if there is a topic "Rooting" and many more topics. Have you red them ? or google ?
I had the same problem -> just switch on the development in application settings.
And read more before you create a new topic which already exists

This is not a development question. Go to general. Do a search, there are plenty of guides on rooting the Kindle Fire.

z4root is easy and no danger for newbie
then for testing root, install superuser and try it to authorize access to root.
