SM-N9005 Speaker Hands free mode volume problem - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I use my un-rooted (BTU) SM-N9005 for conference calls and it always turn off hands-free mode by itself after a few minutes! The volume would reduce automatically especially after the screen time-out and I need to re-activate hands-free mode again. It happens regardless whether someone is holding the phone or it's resting flat on my desk.
Is there a setting that I missed? Adapt Sound is off BTW. Thanks in advance for your help!

How 2 turn the speakerphone ON w/o pressing the green button

As topic. The volume of the XDA II is pretty soft, and I hardly can hear there is an incoming call while I was in a busy street. So I guess that if the speakerphone can be enable throughout the time, the ringing will greatly improve.
Anyone knows how on earth do we go about enable the speakerphone mode without pressing the green button.
I have this problem as well ... any ideas ?

Help or advice needed with volume and ringer

The problem is the volume control on my xda exec. For no apparent reason the device keeps turning the volume settings off for the phone and the device, and sometimes it will ring on an incoming call (even if the volume is turned on) and sometimes won't. Can anyone give me some advice on what might solve the problem? :?

Having a volume issue here

For some reason even though I turned up all the way the ringer, media, and system volume it seems to be super low. Please help.
Which volume? If it's the earpiece volume on phone calls, go to Settings -> Call Settings and enable HAC mode. Then turn the volume down before it ruptures your eardrums.
I had the same thing happen one time...a reboot of the phone solved the problem for me.

As lame as it might seem, enabling HAC mode was one of the best suggestions I've ever found. Ever.
I had a similar issue, but for me it was the east piece volume. Out of nowhere the volume seemed to be locked at a barely audible level.
I ended up having to do a warranty exchange. Sucked because that was the only phone I had and I could only use speaker phone to take calls

Android auto and phone calls

Hello!
This is the third phone I've used since getting Android auto in my car and it's the first one with this particular problem :
When I initiate a call in the car, either by choosing a contact from the call section of auto, or by triggering the key word and asking it to call... It automatically selects the speakerphone instead of the car... And because I'm in auto mode at this point, I have to unplug the phone and then turn it off speakerphone and plug it back into the car... Which is annoying, to say the least.
Any advice?
Thanks!

I've had that happen from time to time, but while I'm in Android Auto,I can just tap on the speaker icon (just to the left of the hang up button), and it switches me back over to Bluetooth on my car. Not sure why this happens, tho... Sort of hit or miss.

Disable silence mode

My question is, whenever I get a call my ringtone goes but when I click on the side buttons (volume up/down or power on/off) the ringtone is silenced. The call is not disconnected but I can't hear my ringtone anymore.
I've searched and I think this is what they call the SILENCE MODE, but I was wondering if I can disable this. Because I have my phone in my pocket and sometimes one of those buttons is pushed by accident which means I don't hear that someone is calling me.
Is it possible to disable this?
