I have AOSP browser. Zip with Google bookmark sync. It works fine with android up to 4.3. But I get fc on android 4.4 kit-kat.
Someone have AOSP browser with sync that works on 4.4 or maybe can make the one I have work on 4.4

You could try this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.android.browser
Or aosp browser installer

Thanks, successfully updated from 11.1.115.12 to 11.1.115.20 on stock ICS
It works in Firefox, though some video's from a particular site were really scrambled / showing huge artifacts, but most flash movies/apps work.
Thanks!
.17 was working fine on the stock browser in jb, as is this one, good find and good upload
Gingerbread or ICS? And if it's only ICS, what the last version for gingebread? just .119?
Flash Player for Android 2.x and 3.x ver. 11.1.111.19
Flash Player for Android 4.0 ver. 11.1.115.20
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
This version works a lot better on JB DLIB (mainly on Pulse, rarely on Dolphin HD). version 17 had stability problems and video distortion if used to view < 720p video.
Someone should update main thread, so everyone would go for latest version.
too bad flash doesn't work in Chrome Its my favourite browser since the sync feature on desktop really works quite nicely
Thank you

I saw a general flashable 4.3 aosp zip file that someone posted today but it didnt work for me. im not sure if other steps are needed to make it work.
I was wondering if anyone knows how i can get the aosp browser to work on 4.3 ge rom that jahon posted?
Search 'aosp browser' on Play. There is an installer app there.

And I'm searching through this forum, I have already unlocked and rooted. I currently have cwm 6.0.2.3 id like to get twrp. Can I simply use goo manager and install it that way?
Other question what the hell is MAKO? I'm not sure what stuff I can flash for stock 4.3 some of the stuff doesnt really say. Some of the things say for aosp but arent we technically aosp if we are stock?
I had the old Nexus S and that was easier ro guide through. I also have a Note 2 on sprint which is really Easy to tell what I can and can't flash.
My build # JWR66V.

Mako = Nexus 4
AOSP is the raw Android, with none of the Google apps/features, but it can have some additional features added depending on the developer
Yes you can install twrp through goo manager just fine.

Ahh k so AOSP would be more like CM. And stock is stock however can't find a kernel for stock 4.3 that is.

Stock 4.3 comes with a kernel. If you want a kernel for "stock 4.3 (JWR66V)" use Faux 018, semaphore (non J) or Franco.
Try and word it better.
Stock: JWR66V
AOSP: JSS15J
Using a JSS15J kernel on a JWR66V build (and vice versa) will cause screen tearing.
Mako is the codename of the Nexus 4. All the Nexus devices have a fish as codename.
AOSP is the Android Open Source Project.
For a Nexus Google compiles AOSP, then pre-installs some of their Apps and thus replaces some of the AOSP ones.
CyanogenMod works similar for a Nexus. They take AOSP Android, add functionality and compile it.
Installing the Google Apps is optional.
The stock Rom replaces the AOSP camera app with Googles one.
The Cyanogenmod camera app is the AOSP camera app with additional settings.
The stock Rom replaces the AOSP music player with Google Play Music.
Cyanogenmod replaces it with Apollo.
Currently there is the Nemesis Project from the cyanogenmod guys. They want to fix the shortcomings of the AOSP android experience.
The first thing is the camera app. The AOSP one is lacking, to put it gently. They bring us their own app, called Focal which makes the Samsung, HTC,... camera apps look like toys.
Used it for the first time today and it is THE ****!

No I knew that it comes with a kernel, I just wanted to have a custom kernel for me to use with stock is all.

Thanks but you didn't have to go that far I mean I pretty much know about that I was just simply a little confused when it came to what I can flash on what I can't because of the building numbers and I was a little confused on if I was on AOSP already kind of like with Samsung devices you have the option between either touch wiz or AOSP for the most part

So I should be able to install/flash faux's Turbo Ultimate Kernel for 4.3 the one under where it says 4.3 Jelly Bean System Image Instructions?
