[Q]Lux auto brightness randomly not working anymore - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know why lux auto brightness would randomly stop working? Tried uninstalling an reinstalling, disabling all xposed plugins, and nothing still!
Edit: never mind. It started working again after uninstalling again and reinstalling again. Weird...

Auto rotation problem

I am not rooted and on stock 4.3 rom uk
the problem is that auto rotate keep refusing to work and the only way to get it up and running again
is to completely reboot, then it works fine for a few hours then packs up again.
when the fault is present i have gone into keypad and typed *#0*# and sensor and it shows fail there
as it works on reboot it seems like a software problem to me ?
any help would be appreciated
Do you have an external sdcard? If you do and are rooted, disable mediaScanner. Report back if this works for you.

Reflash stock

It is stock and I have tried a factory reset with no luck
Try to see if you have the same problem without the sdcard plugged in.

have done that problem persists
I had that problem, and I solved by by disabling mediaScanner, using tasker to enable / disable it. If i leave it enabled, I have your problem whenever my phone wakes up from deep sleep.

Back LED always breathing

I am running CloudyStock 1.1 (4.4.2).
I have back LED always breathing.
At first I thought it was some kind of an app that I installed so I uninstalled a call recorder app and it still kept breathing.
I then thought about Xposed which is still not playing nice with kitkat on g2, so i started by removing a module after the other and it still kept breathing.
I ended up uninstalling xposed framework (through the app of course) and it still kept breathing.
I have no missed call or alarm or in call.
I went to sttings/display/notification LED and disabled all 3 options for back LED and it still kept breathing.
I went crazy and stopped the whole LED option and it turned off.
Once I turn it on again, it flashes again.
Any idea?

I was told that it was modifying the build.prop that caused it!
I restored the original build.prop (or you reflash the ROM again) and it worked! No more blinking!
I had to reflash the rom and THEN WIPE EVERYTHING to get the breathing to stop.

Settings issue

Well just like the title says my settings will crash randomly. But if I try and check for updates it will stop responding almost instantly requiring a battery pull. Anybody have any idea why this may be happening? I just reset my phone back to factory last night and the only thing non stock is root...

Auto rotation not working, sometimes

Running 4.4.2, was running fine then one day auto rotation stopped. Tried turning it off and back on in settings/accessibilities. Tried running in safe mode. What I've read other people have the same problem. One possibility is factory reset, don't want to but all else fails. I can eventually get it to work by turning it on and off. But it still comes back.

Wiped dalvik and wiped cache a few days ago, seems OK now.

Google search

For the last few months, my google now/search does not show nearby events card. It used to work great. I've cleared cache, cleared data, Uninstalled, reinstalled. Turning the app off then on temporarily brings it back and after a day, the nearby events card disappears again. Anyone else experiencing this?

And just like that, it's working again. Go figure.
