I intend to buy a Dev Moto X Monday so to be ahead of the rush I thought I'd do the credit app now to do the 12 month financing. The page times out every time I try to apply. It doesn't matter if I'm on my hard lined computer, phone (on its cellular data), or my tablet. Nothing will load this page. Browser doesn't matter either.
Just curious if anyone else is having the issue. It's been like this for days.

Fixed: Don't use the link on the Moto site as it looks like they forgot a letter. Use this instead.

Found a fix and put it in the OP if you need.
If you just tried 14 hours ago your gonna miss out on financing as it takes 7 to 10 days and it's a limited sale.

Not so sure about that -- I just got an approved account set up in about 5 minutes - $4k credit line, not sure how anyone would ever need that with Moto...

Haha, that's a lot of X's! Same here tho, got approved instantly and it temporarily gives your a screen to write down or print out your account number for immediate purchases. There it's no physical card, more like a PayPal account.

Approval is instant. The only reason it would take longer is if your credit is sketchy and they want a human to review it. Regardless, you could call and get your answer. I deal with these credit apps every day. My account is set up and ready to go for Monday.

Works. Answered the question as well. It was a Robot Chicken question lol. Reload card is on the way in the mail. Guess I'll be taking Serve and Paypal payments now.
Also if you add your bank you can just transfer funds instead of waiting a week for a check.

I was, but given the resent news of a Nexus 5 with Sprint LTE support I'm holding off until it gets announced. If it won't come out to Sprint the Moto X will be my next.

I will be getting one soon in white when its available for SWAC purchase. Having an available upgrade is nearly killing me but I doubt I will have to wait much longer. I'm not sure what you guys are reading about another Nexus on Sprint but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I'm still thinking about it. I'll probably time it so that I'm eligible to trade it in for a Note 3 within the 14-day grace period just in case I don't like it.
Good to see a familiar name

I should get one soon hopefully. My broken screen EVO 3D finally gave up the other day, no phone ATM:crying:. Stopped by one of the local Sprint stores, they didn't have any in stock and would let me know when they'll be getting them in the store. Right now it seems they're only available online, not sure for how long though. Need to get my account balance payed down before i can upgrade though...

Would you mind grabbing a system dump for me please? Connect phone to computer with usb debugging enabled and run the following command (open a command prompt in the directory where you have adb, tell me if you don't have it and I'll link you to a quick download for it)
Code:
adb pull /system system
Then wait for that to complete and zip up + upload the folder it makes and drop a link for me...
Thanks!

Were you able to get wallet up and going? If you did then the rest of us may be able to bring it over the vzw and att. If we are able to change lines in our build prop to make it think its a sprint then install and set up wallet then revert back like we did with the s3. Might be some hope as long as the secure element is hidden somewhere.

I just bought the G2 from tmobile the other day and went through the phone and after a while a notification for lookout said it was done with its 25 free scans so i clicked on it. The app ask me for my email and info so I did. Then I noticed that I got Lookout Premium. Did I get charged for this? I just paid for the phone in full btw no insurance or anything, also not part of the jump plan.

I was wondering how you deleted your Lookout Security app. I've been looking for a way to get rid of it since I bought the phone. I was also wondering if it had any performance issues after Uninstalling since it's included T-Mobile software? Thanks for your help.

So I bought a used motomaker x from Craigslist.
However, the vibration was borked in it, so I got in touch with Moto who agreed it needed to be replaced...but they couldn't process it without my original order number!
After hours on hold, and getting an email requesting that I call back, a week later they offered me a generic black one...but I would have to send in my phone first (nooooo!)
So I sent a message to the Moto Twitter support...and got through to a great guy who emailed with me, and eventually got me a code to use with the motomaker website for a brand one!
They even let me order an unlocked one to replace the AT&T one that is broken!
So, the moral of the story? The Twitter support is awesome!
(Oh, and I went with white/navy/yellow)

I discovered this by accident (& fortunately in time) that with a purchase of a new Moto G, if you access Google Drive within 30 days you can click to take advantage of an additional 50 Gb of cloud storage on your Google account for 2 years at no cost!
You snooze - you lose!
I think everyone who owns a moto g know this. no need to open a thread for this.

I did not know about the offer and I am already using my Drive on a different gmail account (which has 15GB). There is nothing showing up after product tour either. Nothing to say redeem or already redeemed. Is there anyway to find this out?
how do they start counting these 30days? 30 days after purchase, 30days after first boot or 30days after first login to google services on the device?

In my case (XT1028 Verizon) I have never activated the phone so it appears the countdown started when I first entered my Google account credentials.
The first visit to Drive on the device starts with a tutorial & on the last page presents the clickable offer.
I've bought first the 8 gb version and activated the 50Gb promo, but soon after I discovered a dead pixel on the screen and returned the phone back. Misfortune did not allow me to exchange or buy a new one, since they were all sold out and I bought 16 Gb in another country, so now I both have 50Gb in GDrive and 16 Gb on the device Sorry for a little boasting So I guess the next guy who buys the fixed device wouldn't get google's promo, right?

Why not try man? Just open Google drive and see if you get the offer(if the 30 days are not over yet).
The reason for me to skip this and several other simular past offers, is that it is temperary. With prices gDrive dropped I almost took a cheap subscription with Google. The reason I didn't is that Drive only works with Windows with all cloud files permanently synced on harddrive. I find that ridiculous. When I use cloud I want to spare the space on my hard drive. OneDrive and Box I can use in Windows without the need to have all those gigabytes of data on my hard drives at all times.

The downside of using cloud storage and not having optic fiber is that it's not really effective... We shall wait Google fiber worldwide and probably that will give us direct unlimited connection speed to Google.
