Hey all. I installed better battery stats but when I start the program I get a message '' Batteryinfo service could not be contacted ''. I can't see any of my wakelogs. Any suggestions?

It doesn't support 4.4 as Google made some permission changes. To get it to work you need to grant it root access by changing the settings in settings>advanced>rootfeatures and turn it on.

cannot download apps from playstore

I tried to look for this problem, but couldn't find anything relevant...
finally got my unlocked nexus 4 in the mail today!
was super excited, cut my existing t-mobile sim card (I'm on a contract with them) and was able to connect to their network.
the problem is that no matter what network i am on (wifi, 4g, 2g) i cannot download any apps from the play store. I click on 'install', it brings up the permissions window, i click on 'accept and download' and it tells me "[app_name] could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-5:AEC-0]."
Also can't update any apps...
I am extremely confused.. has anyone encountered this problem?

Try clearing app data, and see if it still does it?
Edit: Settings --> App --> All --> Chrome --> clear data.
Nope still not working

That's odd, I've never seen anything like that before. And the copyright is 2009, so it obviously hasn't been used in quite awhile.
Have you tried visiting Google help, like it says?

How large are the games? I had the issue with an update to "Angry Birds Space Premium" which is 46.07 MB, so I moved closer to the WiFi AP and retried again, which worked. You could also try disabling "Wi-Fi optimization" in "Advanced Wi-Fi" settings.
Kinda like that apps that are 40mb up..will try and report back

Are you trying to update an existing app?
Log into your Playstore account on a PC and make sure your N4 is set as active and then try and push the install from the PC.

[Q] Mobile Network State Disconnected

I'm sure this has been asked before but I am finding nothing about it in my search so I'm asking for help here. I will attach a few screens to show my dilemma. I'm stuck on mobile network state disconnected. I am pretty sure my APN settings are correct. I am rooted and running Slim Bean build 8 as well.

It's like that even off of WiFi I was on just to be able to post.

Go to your APN and hit restore to default. Reboot and let it sit for a few minutes. Report back.

im on a gt9500 and tried this, but did not fix it for me. I have the issue while on GSM, WCDMA works fine.
Your phone doesn't come with default apns it is international. It reads the SIM and puts the generic APN settings in. You likely need to manually Input them

I had this problem on my Canadian Telus 9505 S4.. I tried the things in this Thread, and it didn't seem to work. What I ended up doing was downloading an application called "Tweakker" and it automatically detects your APN settings for you to enter manually, I did that, and then rebooted and it seemed to work for me. Hope I Helped somehow.
