[Q] Nexus 5 fonts on my UK LG G2 - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
Had the LG G2 for a day now and absolutely LOVING it
One thing I miss from my Nexus 5 is the fonts used around the system.
I can see you can download the Nexus 5 font pack but can anyone kindly confirm what is the easiest way I can change the fonts on my LG G2 so it matches the Nexus 5 fonts?
Thanks in advance

[Q] LG Keyboard app

Does anyone know if it is possible to install the stock LG Keyboard from the G2 on a Nexus 4? I would think so since they are both LG devices. I've backed up the app with TiBU, but that gives me .vs files. I'm not sure how to install those. My wife really wants the icons that cine with the stock keyboard. Thanks.

Have you tried going into the root of your phone and pulling a copy of the APK out of system/app. I don't know if it will work for sure, but you would need to add it into the system/app directory on your wife's phone and give the proper rights.

nope, likely won't work at least not without a ton of work. That being said implying that it's because they are both LG phones means they will work is like implying that a AA battery could be used in place of a Car Battery, i mean they are both batteries after all

Nexus LG theme

I know LG let's us theme this device but they only have two themes stock. Anyone seen or made a compatible nexus theme yet? Or even just some other themes besides the two that come with it or the five that are with the Optimus G PRO?
Love the G2 but would like to be able to customize at the touch of a button!

Use vanilla theme

Is there a way to invert the settings menu? Vzw

I recently bought my g2 and I rooted and I have been using xposed to get the phone how I want it. I bought g2 settings and tweaks but I want to make the background of my settings black instead of white. Is there any way to achieve this look with another module?
I tried gravity box but it didn't have it either. I'm on the Verizon model if it matters
Thanks in advance!
Gonna bump this one time since I still haven't found a solution.
Anybody able to offer any help with this? It's the only real thing in missing to make my phone exactly how I want it.

Does any mod do this yet? The white is so horrendous.
Install a custom ROM with a proper theme engine and the fix is as easy as enabling Dark UI/Dark Mode.
For example, SlimKat, Mahdi, or Carbon.

I too use SwiftKey and she got an LG G3 last week and I had her go back to SwiftKey because she loved it on her previous phone. The LG G3 is not for me, but nonetheless this is still very cool.
Thanks [emoji1]

Confirmed working on stock G3
Next word prediction works fine
Very slow and lugging. Nexus with mahdi ROM

Last time I checked root was required to change fonts.
Why are against rooting a Nexus?

Always used to be against it for me because of Android pay and all so some people like those features, I don't have it anymore for the pixel features but I miss my android pay

Agreed I rooted just for droid wall but think I'd rather be unroot to get Android pay back
