Walked into an AT&T store recently and they had a sign up where if you upgrade to the Note 3, you get the Galaxy Tab 3, and Samsung Galaxy Gear.
I inquired about the promo as I recently upgraded and got 2 Note 3's. Alas, since I have gone past the buyer's remorse period, they could not apply the offer to me.
Fast forward to yesterday, I happened to be at Best Buy and came across the Galaxy Gear at the Samsung Area and decided I would call AT&T to inquire about the promotion.
Long story short, 15 minutes later, I have in my mailbox an order confirmation for 2 Black Galaxy Gears on the way to my home.
Of course, YMMV...so goodluck!

Don't seem to see the deal online or I'd see if Sam's Club would be cool and match despite buying at release.

Been on the phone for 2 hours while the sales rep has been call premier etc etc etc, and nothing so far. She is checking with another rep for a second opinion.

I have the grandfathered unlimited dataplan, so no tab3 for me, the galaxy gear they said they couldn't help me because I am past the buyers remorse period (I bought the note 3 on nov 6th) AND the store I bought it from doesn't have the promotion.... So no promotions for me....

Went to sprint today to check on getting a mini 10 (1012) netbook, while I'm eligible to add a line I thought this could be a good idea, but I don't want to pay the additional $60 a month, so I'm going to pass on that, but heres where it gets good, well for me.
I asked my sales associate about what is going on with the premier deal, I explained everything going on with the changes, her nor the other associates had a clue about this, meaning they have never heard of the gold/ silver ordeal, not even their manager, they can only surmise that whatever changes took place are for corporate.
So I asked about my upcoming upgrade that I had originally, she said from where she stood looking at the screen, I was still eligible come june for the $150 off, even though sprint has me shown as silver now online.
Evo 3D, here I come baby.
So I feel better about my visit this morrow, but how can corporate stores be clueless on these changes?

Sounds pretty lame if they are unaware. Also have you verified that Sprint pulled your upgrade, prior to this visit ? What does your eligibility say online? Or text the word "upgrade" no commas, to 1311. You may have been one of the lucky few that never got it removed?

Online it shows I'm eligible, but only at silver, but that would mean if anything I'd only get $75 off, yet she said I'd get $150 off, maybe il check the texting and see what that says.

Store reps are idiots. Call Sprint and verify. That's the easiest way.
$75 for the one year upgrade is a drop in the bucket, might as well pay full price and wait two years ($150 + ~$100-200 instant savings + $50-$75 extension credit).
I just checked mine at it said I was eligible for a $75 upgrade on 6/1/11 with a 2 year contract...where as before (like a month ago) it said I had a $150 upgrade. I remember seeing a number somewhere for spring customer service or something that you could call and they would roll it back to your previous upgrade amount? I mean yea $75 is better than nothing but still, they jewed me on my original upgrade. And I'm supposedly a gold member.

According to the store today when I visited, they said I'll still get the $150 come june, but I guess we'll see when I go in, I'd still think I would only get $75 though.

You're only gonna get $75 off retail bro. Unless you get the right rep on the phone to change it. Better off buying on craigslist/eBay and 10mos from then, you'll be full upgrade eligible.
I made a thread about Silver Premier Override, check it out. It might work for you, but not technically supposed to. Or you can jump to the $89mo plan and be Gold eligible in 3mos, then switch back to your old plan after upgrading.

I am considered a Sprint Premier Silver customer, 7 years service and the 1500 minute shared everything plan.
My upgrade for 1 yr on the previous premier set up came in February but I had bought an EVO off contract when my Hero died trying to save my upgrade for the new phones of the summer.
Obviously with the premier change I got borked, or at least I thought I was.
All Sprint Premier Silver customers are eligible for a one time override due to the change of plans. You do have to call into customer service and ask for it, she called it a Tier One Override and said it is a relatively new change to their policy.
I am now throwing down $50 to pre-order the EVO 3D.

It depends on who you talk to. The guts at my local sprint store gave us the new upgrade price on one of my lines. Not sure if I can get it on the other line. Looks like the wife gets the evo 3d lol.

No, they didn't give me the $75 off, they gave me the full upgrade of $150.
Thats why I posted it for people who would be getting their upgrade if it wasnt for the policy change, they WILL let you have your full upgrade. You simply have to request it.
The customer service rep said she couldn't do anything, I asked for a supervisor. A few moments later she came back on and apologized saying there was a new policy that allowed it. Never even spoke to the supervisor. She said my account was immediately reset for an upgrade.
I have since gone to the sprint store by my house, asked them to verify, and placed a pre-order down.
I got my full $150 upgrade back as of July 1st. Does this mean I get $150 off the retail price? Also, does the 2 year upgrade reset my contract from the time I get the new phone or is it stacked on top of the year I have left?

You are signing a new 2 year agreement, it doesn't stack on top of any time remaining on your previous contract. That isn't how their early upgrade has ever worked.

I got my S3 for 149.99$ because i bought the Evo 4g LTE and then exchanged phones, so the giftcard was applied to my evo's 199$ price... could i go back and have them price match to save another 50$?
Well I had some little snooty B**** not price match because none of the Radio Shacks around here have the actual phone in stock. I'm going to be calling them daily and as soon as I find one in stock, I'm running back to BB and hopefully getting the price match.
I may also try another BB or two before then, just in case they are more easy to work with.
My best buy said it's only the price for new customers and because I as an upgrade they couldn't honor the price

I would try a different one, the webpage I printed out even says with Contract extension which is how most of us upgraded.

BestBuy in Westbury NY just issued me my refund. As i walked in I saw the MGR of the mobile department on the phone with a customers phone. He gave it back to them and customer walked out. I asked him about the radio shack promo and he said he was just on the phone with the radio shack down the block and that the promo was only for new subscribers. After i showed him the print out from the net that clearly states new line/contract or contract extention, he went on the web himself, verified and issued my refund of $54.32.
If you were that guy in the hat and a cast on your hand that left BB in Westbury, go back and claim your refund.

Samsung is committed to producing the highest quality products and we take every incident report from our valued customers very seriously. In response to recently reported cases of the new Galaxy Note7, we conducted a thorough investigation and found a battery cell issue.
To date (as of September 1) there have been 35 cases that have been reported globally and we are currently conducting a thorough inspection with our suppliers to identify possible affected batteries in the market. However, because our customers’ safety is an absolute priority at Samsung, we have stopped sales of the Galaxy Note7.
For customers who already have Galaxy Note7 devices, we will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one over the coming weeks.
We acknowledge the inconvenience this may cause in the market but this is to ensure that Samsung continues to deliver the highest quality products to our customers. We are working closely with our partners to ensure the replacement experience is as convenient and efficient as possible.

Earlier today, Samsung announced that it has stopped sales globally of the Galaxy Note7. T-Mobile has suspended sales of the device in all channels.
We are working closely with Samsung as they are finalizing details of their exchange program for the Note7, and we want to make sure T-Mobile customers are taken care of as Samsung works to resolve this.
Starting immediately, customers who are concerned about using the Note 7 can return the device to T-Mobile for a full, complete refund. They’ll get a full refund of anything paid for the device and any Note7 accessories. We’ll waive any restocking charges and shipping fees, and customers can keep the free Netflix subscription they received with purchase during pre-order.
Customers can visit their local T-Mobile store where they bought the device or call 611 or 1-800-937-8997 to do this, and they can then use their refund to choose a similar device or any device in T-Moble’s stores, including a new Note7 replacement which we expect to be available in the next two weeks.
We will update this statement as we have more information from Samsung regarding their exchange program for customers.

You will get it before in store release. Happens every time.
For reference, I preordered the s7 Edge from T-mobile on February 24th, and received it March 3rd, so 8 days. If we preorder the Note7 today on the 2nd, and same timeline applies, we'd get it delivered on the 10th. (obviously these timeframes are totally speculative on my part)
They have a habit of shipping phones 1-2 weeks prior to formal launch

You normally get your phone a week after pre-order. Every Galaxy phone I decided to pre-order I've got before the store released it.

How do trade ins work towards a preorder? Do I send my phone back in the shipping box and they credit my account or EIP of new device? They probably won't be looking for the charger either I am assuming.

you click upgrade put in device imei your trading in they credit your account and than you place your order. trade ins take a billing cycle though

I figure the site can crash just as easy as their POS system if demand is high enough. The bonus I figured was that pre-order online (maybe just t-mobile) is happening tonight. I also think you have more flexibility in store as far as where it gets shipped and so forth.
I'm on the fence about jumping on it now and hoping it ships before the 19th. In my case I would be hoping for it to ship prior to my trip to Toronto on the 15th, so a full 6 days earlier on the thirteenth.
During the S7 launch did they wait to announce the buy one get one deal on the day of release or a couple days before? Does anyone remember?

I would like to know this as well. I am on Jump on Demand and will be upgrading and getting the Gear Fit 2 being I already have a 200GB microSD from when I bought the V10 last year.

I ordered my Sprint version from Samsung. That way I can use their financing.
While chatting with them I asked if the Sprint ship date was correct and they had no answer. Samsung says they'll ship by the 11th. But no one will know for sure until you have a tracking number.
Do you know if Sprint is offering the $425 credit for the note 7 users? I'm trying to get it through Samsung, but my S8+ is not on the list of acceptable devices. I don't want to have to deal with selling it on Swappa.
I pre ordered mine through Sam's club, get the same free stuff and I'll get a 200 dollar gift card from them as soon as I pick it up!

They are NOT offering the $425 credit. The only things they are offering atm are the promo gifts and 50% off credit as new line only
I pre-ordered the black unlocked version from Samsung with a trade in of an s6 for $425, free sd card, sprint sim, and wireless charger, $20.00 off VR headset (note 8 edition), $50.00 off dex station. My total was still only $750. I did the 24-month account with Samsung. The phone without the VR headset and dex station was going to be $26/month and with for $32/month so I went with the extras...it's only $6 more per month. Now I have to look for some screen protectors and cases. And now to sell my s7 edge on eBay...hehehe.

Mine says it will ship by 9/11. This happened on the Note 7 and most received theirs 2-4 days before availability. I'm sure that we will have them anytime the week before release.
I ordered mine directly from Samsung to take advantage of the extra $125 off they're offering because of the Note 7 recall. I do believe Sprint is currently stating they'll ship on 9/5 and Samsung is saying they'll ship on 9/11. I'm ok with waiting a few more days for the $125. My total, with all of the goodies was $572.
I didn't order the unlocked version, I ordered the sprint version... I wonder if that was a fatal flaw although I'm not planning on switching as I have 3 other phones still under contract until 2018...

Ordered mine on the 24th through sprint.com easy peasy got a 100 visa gift card with upgrade fee waved on a lease plus getting the gift either the SD card and charger or the camera don't know which one to get plus since I was a customer who returned my note 7 twice they gave me an otter box defender case free. All I paid for was 10.00 for shipping and handling
