The free quadbeat2 headset volume button can be used as camera shutter yes, now is there any bluetooth headset capable of doing that?
It would be nice to be able to remotely took pic :victory:

I don't even know if this is possible, but is there a way to reduce the microphone volume for a wired headset (other than Headset Equalizer)? I'm trying to use a noise-canceling wired headset, but it no longer noise-cancels because the microphone volume on the phone itself is too high.
I've tried searching for this, but haven't found any information.
Thanks to all in advance!
I have the sound coming correctly via my stereo bluetooth-headset, but I cannot change the volume of it.
The volume that I change on the device has no influence on the volume of the headset...
Any idea?
I have the sa meissue with my Sony bluetooth headset. I can only control the volume via the headset but not from the build in volume control of the HD2. I also noticed that the quality of the sound is worse compared to my Kaiser or the Hero. I tried to change the Blettoh a2dp settings in the registry to High quality sound but that doesnt have an impact.
Does HTC use the Microsoft bluetooth stack or a third party tool?
The problem is, that I cannot control the volume on the headset itself.
So it has to be controlled on the device.
That worked with the same headset nice on the Touch HD.
With this new Windcomm Bluetooth stack, used in the HD2, this seens not to be possible.
Any news about this problem?
I really wish, we could get the old microsoft-stack back, since there a re so many problems with the widcomm-stack...
I wanted to use a Bluetooth stereo headset today when running on the treadmill.
however it seems that when I have my zoom hooked up to HDMI the unit will not send sound to the headset. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Anyone else have issues that uses vRecorder? As long as I have it set to auto record it wont play the audio over Bluetooth. Not sure if the mic is picking up my voice or if it's the phone's vocoder. If I turn off the record on vRecorder the Bluetooth functions exactly as it should. I really need this to worth over Bluetooth too though.
Thoughts?
Hello,
as you all know, the microphone of the Desire HD is terrible when having louder sounds.
i'm going on a motorcycle vacation next week and i would like to make movies in the mountains. Because of the wind, it records crappy sound.
So i want to plug in a microphone (or headset) to record the sound while having the microphone inside my jacket.
does anyone know a solution ? just plugging the handsfree in, does'nt work.
No it wont work. You would need an App to record from the input. Dont think there is any like that around from what I know
Is also not possible to make an app to force the usage of the headset mic.
since it works with calling. I don't care if i had to switch manually between headset mic and the normal setting.
or a app to control the input volume sinds it records to loud. (try recording in a pub)
Good news!
i found a app called LGcamera
it works great on the DHD with external mice
