i think both are the same, but the korean version has removable battery and micro sd slot which are awesome. but with 3000mah battery on the D802, i never run out of juice before the end of the day though. and i believe the d802 has much better dev support in custom rom and tweaks.

Thanks. I still thinking to buy one. Removable battery n ext sd card is a must for me. Korean version included 2 batteries n desktop chargers thats a bonus. But what a point of that if the performance is lower than international version one. I guess need an answer from people who have international and korean version lg g2 to satisfy me.

Hi, i have a korean version, f320l, with the lamhoang rom v3.2.
I hit 35000 max on Antutu.
Hope this helps

Oh, and for the batteries, on heavy duty, i change it the evening. Its the big "plus" of the Korean version, with it 2 batteries and stand alone charger.
I takes me 10s max to change battery on it.
And the micro SD card is awesome, 64gb without a problem, accepts files bigger than 4gb.
Bought korean ver f320s. Satisfied. I rooted it.

Hi,
The Korean version is such a great device with its additional benefits sd slot and replaceable battery
I'm using the G2 F320L and was hoping to take its battery performance a step further.. is it possible to get a 3000mah battery for it as opposed to the 2610mah variant or would it be a different size/ not fit?
Thanksm

I have used F320L in UK with O2 carrier for couple of months, never faced any problems. 3G connectivity works fine, but not sure about 4G network (never used).
F320 models support any band in EU.

Anyone else intrigued by the LG G2 South Korean variant?
Anyone have any specsheet or detailed base band info for the models?
I'd love to order one into Canada and use it on Wind Mobile (AWS carrier kinda like T Mobile in the States).
There have to be some more people considering the same?
I've seen conflicting details regarding what the model numbers for the South Korean variants are. Anyone else have any info?
For e.g. I've seen LG F320S and LG F320K and LG F320L
Do all of these come with the microSD slot and removable battery?
I guess more importantly: Which one these is compatible with the North American AWS bands?
Would appreciate any deets anyone could provide.
Thanks.

Check the LG page, it has all the frequencies. It looks like I should be alright with Fido/Rogers. I don't think it has the US LTE bands apparently, just 4g?

Wind here doesn't have 4G or LTE yet anyways so that's not a concern.

I tried to navigate to their Korean page but it was only offered in Korean and not in English.

I got myself the F320L, it is the U+ (LG's network in Korea) variant.
(4G and LTE are the same thing outside the US)
try using google translate plugin, or chrome, to translate the site.
I do remember a page with all of them listed, but can't find it right now... I'll update the post if/when I find it
Check negrielectronics, they are selling the SK version, you should be able to get your specs there.

No no, sorry for the late reply, different time zone. I'm using it on t mobile here in Holland.
I'm not allowed to post links yet but if you do a Google search on f320l bands, you will get some results.
I don't have specific battery details yet, battery monitor widget get confused by me swapping out the two batteries
It comes with two batteries and a charger/stand.
I never paid much attention to people complaining about non-swappable batteries, but I haven't had it hooked up to a charger ever since getting it last Saturday. I did swap out the batteries a few times, but hardly every day.

Question for you: if you pop off the back. Does it state f320s or f320l/s?
Mine actually states f320l/s, and although it is supposed to be the u+ version, which is a wdcma phone, I'm doing fine on hspa+
Looks to me like it's the same phone with different carrier branding

Anyone using the SK variant in NA?
So just went on the negri electronics website and compared the various models.
Seems like none of the South Korean variants would work on T-Mobile USA/Wind Mobile Canada(AWS).
They don't have the 1700 frequency listed in their 3G band.
Can someone validate that this is indeed correct?
hi guys i just got my g2 from korea, works just fine in all networks 4g and lte but here is my problem..i cannot do a hard reset on it using the hard keys, and i can only acces into it as guest.

I am using the korean variant ,well just because of the micro sd and removable battery. Rooting is easy and you just have to wait for custom rom to arrive.

I cannot, but I can say that it works for 3g on Fido, at the very least. It is possible that I need an 'LTE sim card' to get LTE speeds, this is my next step. For now, 3g for the F320S works for Fido.
Also, the antenna captures nothing, but once you pull it out, it looks like a phone from the 80s, so yeah, its awesome.

So what is the benefit of the South Korean model? I see you get two batteries, but at 2600mAh vs the one battery at 3100mAh, you get the micro SD slot, and the removable back cover. What other benefits would I get if I traded my US AT&T LG G2 model for the SK one?
I am a noob at this so I am just trying to make an informed decision as to whether to keep this one or look at a different different one (European vs Asian vs American, etc...).

none other than that.
I got mine as I just couldn't wait for the European release. And I have to say the swappable batteries are a treat... especially as you get an external charger with it. So he always swap in a full battery. Gets you technically 5200mAh

Really want the Korean version of the G2 - the expandable memory is a must for me.
However, I live in the UK and I'm not sure if the phone will work on the mobile networks here (I'm with O2).
I know there are a few threads on this subject but they're either applying to the USA or they're a bit too technical for me (bit of a noob).
So any pointers or help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
Check out the bands that are used in the UK and compare them to the bands that the phone uses.
Why not just grab a international version and a meenova. ?

Tried doing this too. No you currently cannot do this. DO NOT attempt to do this or you will break your phone. What specific features are you looking for in the G900F that you want on your phone? If you're only interested in the antenna/connectivity features, that's a very slippery slope you're climbing.
But if I'm to assume you're going to or are in Europe you should be fine.
Your phone's LTE specs: LTE700 (B17), LTE1800 (B3), LTE2600 (B7), LTE900 (B8)
European Frequencies: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Europe
1800 and 2600 is common in that area. In my case, 2100 is only in one carrier (a faster one sadly) than another.

I already PM'd you yesterday how to remove the bloatware. Not sure what you meant by SMS limits though. I don't have a problem with SMS on my phone. Tried 3 SIMs from different carriers with no problems.
And as what you can see in the sammobile.com site, there is no international ROM for this. As far as I can tell, the "K" designation is exclusive to Korea.
Sms limit mean sms to mms conversion...and korean dialler is also annoying...

I posted this in the general section, but then I found this specific V20 area and hopefully you guys will be far more knowledgeable than I am.
I'm on an EE contract in England. the LG V20 is the phone I want to buy but it's not released here in the UK (ebay seems the only option and the closest).
It's got Nougat but it will eventually have updates. the LG V20 does not seem to be scheduled for release in the UK. How, if possible, can I update the phone's Android since my network does not stock that phone?
And it will work on 4G in the UK too?
Thank you for the help, I'm a novice Android user.
Cause you can update as and when available by the manufacturer if it's unlocked.

I would venture you can update manually with whatever lg uses to flash stock firmware or it will find an update over wifi.

I have an F800 Korean version using it on Vodafone. All 4G bands are supported. The only one missing is the 900MHz HSDPA band. Video calling works just fine. The downside is that you get the operator bloatware and is not easy to get rid of it.
P.S. Check the 4G(LTE) bands of your operator before buying. For example the Korean version you won't get 4G on O2.

I ordered mine too, so hopefully get it around the 7th/8th. I got the Taiwan version because of more 4G support in U.K. It will be used on EE and 3. In the past I have achieved speeds of 100mb with the Note, so would like to see how this would do as well. Such a shame we have to import... lg should be taking advantage of Samsung's catastrophic failure with the note 7. Oh by the way does anyone know if they share sim and sd card or the sd has its own dedicated slot?

I have the F800S. Is the SK Telecom model with some bloatware but the phone itself is great. Quality build and the audio and camera are superb. I wish I could somehow remove the Korean dialer. Even if you select English it still shows the Korean characters.
AUSSIES interested in the H990DS dual sim with 4g/3g capability, its available for $984 local stock, local shipping, genuine AU 12 month warranty from me. Only sold in 1 retailer outright/unlocked, JB HIFI from 8/11 with a price of $1099.

Hi all. Bit late to this chat but I've just bought an LG V20 online and am a little worried as LG themselves are telling me that I won't be able to connect to the 4G network at all as the frequencies are different. However the frequencies available on the specifications of the phone DO match the frequencies used by EE for 4G in the UK; are the LG operatives confused? Do your V20s work okay on the UK's 4G ? Thanks in advance
I'm also in the UK and I've had my H990ds Taiwan variant for 4 days.
I'm on Tesco Mobile (which uses o2) and 4G LTE is working just fine.
Dear all,
I bought a LG V20 VS995 on ebay. Unfortunately I don't get LTE. I live in Germany and bought this VS995 from the USA with the verizon branding. I've already googled and looked on xda but couldn't solve it. My network in Germany - "o2" - uses three different LTE bands: 800mhz, 1800mhz and 2600mhz. All of them are supported by the LG V20 VS995.
I've also heard that the V20 has a weak LTE antenna. Could this be the reason?
Could you please suggest me something?
Thank you in advance

Hi,
thanks for your answer. To be honest I don't want any other phone. I bought the V20 because of the quad dac. I paid 130$ and this is a great price. V30/V40 are a lot more expensive and the new V50 costs about 1260$ in Germany.
3g works great with my V20, I get about 6mbit/s down and 1,5mbit/s up. It's enough for me. Don't want to pay more at the moment.
LTE would be nice to have, but it's not a must have.

Hi I also have a vs995 which I am using in Australia. To enable LTE you need to google your mobile providers APN settings then type it in your in Mobile networks > Access Point Names
For example I am with Telstra so I google Telstra 4g apn and then i wrote it in and it worked for me. Hope this helps you.
If you still get 3g after that then you can download an app that forces 4g only as since it will stay on 3g if 4g signal is weaker than 3g
