Hey guys
I've rooted my tab and uninstalled some unneeded system apps (I know I should have frozen them but oh well to late now)
Anyway is there any way to flash a factory image yet?
I will have to send my 8.3 back cause I've got a speaker issue but I wanted to restore everything first.
Thanks in advance.

A regular factory reset via the settings menu will be fine in that case. You can also unroot via super user app.
We do have the kdz to fall back on, though.

Well a factory reset won't bring all the system apps back so I think I have to check out that link when I'm home.

I am randomly getting google.process.acore "has unexpectedly closed" error messages when I reboot my phone.
It doesn't occur every single time though.
Anyone knows why it happens?
not sure if it's due to the Google Play Services apk I installed from Kitkat :/
or any service that I may have frozen
What Rom are you using? I assume your rooted as well.

Stock ROM, rooted.
been freezing and removing stuff (with a backup) with TB..
not sure which one causes it
but it's intermittent.. it doesn't always happen
I had this a few weeks ago. It was Viper equaliser that was causing it on boot. Once unintalled, no more fc. I could be other apps that load on boot.
Have you tried clearing the cache? And if this doesn't work try to delete all data from Google apps.(back them up first). Maybe it's damaged data causing the fc

Fixed it. Had to do a factory reset everything seemed to work better after that.
Dear all,
I have a couple of problems since my update to 4.4.2.
Is there anybody who could help me?
1) Every time when I click on a file it will ask me to choose an app, even when I have chosen "always" a couple of time before. It doesn't save my choice.
2) After making a picture, I have to wait for "processing". Otherwise the picture will no be saved, or the saved picture will be the "taken" after I moved.
3) WIFI passwords will randomly disappear. I have t fill in the password of a wifi every couple of days.
Thank you in advance.
How did you do the Update? OTA?
Factory Reset after update?

I havent root or done anything to my phone
just the original update.
yes I have done the factory reset
OTA Updates are sucks, use Odin with your PC to flash the complete original Samsung Firmware and a factory reset again.

Okay so I rooted My Nexus 6P a while ago and now that there Android N has been released I wanted to go ahead and get that. However since Google is only offering it via OTA I didn't know how to do it. I googled around a bit and searched on XDA but couldn't really find what I was looking for (There might be a thread for this question already Sorry!). I just wanted to know if I could flash N through TWRP somehow. All help is appreciated thanks!.
Nope twrp won't work. Just Flash the stock Recovery via flashify or via fastboot. After that the ota will work.

That would remove my root right
After flashing the N Preview you will lost root. Just flashing the Recovery won't end with loosing root.

Flashing only the recovery isn't enough, if you're rooted you can't take OTA updates. It isn't only being offered via OTA either, you can get the factory images and flash them via fastboot, and this is the only way you can do it if you're rooted.
so i watched a tutorial to install bump and i did everything correctly but i still cant get it to work even tried doing it again and even going to recovery in diffrent ways
my phone is rooted (kingroot)
i need your help!
Autorec twrp installer by blender007 will fix it
