Do you have basic knowledge of ADB and fastboot? If yes, you can download factory images and then flash them in fastboot.

If you can get into the bootloader screen you can use fastboot to restore the factory image to your phone, follow the instruction in the links in my signature. There are probably youtube videos as well that can guide you through the process.

Just Google wug's nexus tool. I think it's version 1.74 or something now. Install it and follow directions. I forget if you need factory images already installed for it to work.
I got out of a similar jam earlier. You may have to flash everything thorough fastboot manually though.

Use the Universal Naked Driver in my signature, you might need to disable driver signature checking before installing it. If you can't get it to install, try the Google USB driver.
It looks like the bootloader is damaged for your device, this is your last hope at recovering it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2347060

I try to use many unbrick methods
like the unbrick method with the download mode (can't acces to download mode)
the unbrick method with the fastboot (can't acces to fastboot)
tried the unbrick method with Nexus root Toolkit (in the mode softbricked/bootloop) but doesnt work need fastboot (can't enter in fastboot)
Can't use ADB !!
determinated all unbrick methods need fastboot, download mode, adb or something but NOTHING WORKS !!!
just the unique thing is my computer detect as QHUSB_DLOAD (qualcom driver or something like that) apparently is using the port COM5 but not sure :crying:
Any ideas would be appreciated or any tut :crying::crying: im desesperated and now hate a lot my EXgf yes now is EX !!!

I've already post above the link to restore your device using download mode, try it. Try using a different PC to get the device detected.
I think you should sort your personal life first if you break up with someone due to a careless mistake on a relatively cheap device.

My nexus won't root!

I've tried eveything, the Nexus toolbox, ADB, and even Chainfire's auto root. I've managed to unlock my bootloader, but whenever it comes to rooting (depending on which way I try to root) the command prompt will stay at "Downloading boot.img" or "Sending Recovery (7806 kb)" until i either reboot my Nexus or close cmd. How can i root this damn device? I'm going insane! Thank you!

Try doing the whole process again from step one using the toolkit and install that will guide you step by step in installing the proper drivers and such. I usually do everything manually but I went into lazy mode and did everything just fine and with little time as well. :good:

It's a long process but i ended up having to use a Linux virtual machine (luckily i had one for work anyway).
No matter what toolkit or manual step to install drivers, i couldn't get Win7 to detect the phone, however, attaching it in VmWare to an Ubuntu guest system worked straight away. I got the adb/fastboot files by following instructions in a thread here on XDA and was rooted in minutes
May be worth a shot
Toolkits are a waste of space. Do it manually, it's only like four steps and you will see exactly what is happening and where (if anywhere) you're going wrong.

[Q] PLEASE HELP!!! Cannot connect to computer!!!

Hey everyone, thanks in advance for the help. I just got a nexus 4 yesterday, that was already updated to 4.3 when I got it. My problem is when I go to unlock the boot loader, it won't recognize the phone. It says "list of devices attached" but doesn't give a serial number. Also, before this, it was giving a serial number, but was saying it was offline. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. Any help is most appreciated.

You might need updated adb/fastboot exe/dll's. Grab them from a toolkit, that's what I did.

Try this... When you're connected to the PC , toggle USB debugging off and on.. It might ask for authorisation of ur PC in your phone.. Give yes.. Then do adb devices .. You might fight the offline thing gone

I did that, got it to boot into boot loader through adb, then my fastboot drivers wouldn't install. So I uninstalled everything and started from scratch and now I can't even get the serial number to come up.

Hmm.. doesn't it get shown as Android devices under device manager?
I too had a similar kind of problem with adb. I uninstalled the drivers manually and installed it again using Koush's Universal ADB (Android Debug Bridge) Driver for Windows. It has fastboot thing also. It worked for me.

You can also try someone else's PC or something. Install the drivers using the above link and just fastboot. Sorry, if that is of not much help. I'm new, both to this place and to this Nexus 4 device as well. All the best.

Nexus 4 No OS Installed TWRP

Guys I need your help.
I have Nexus 4 16GB pre owned. Bought it with Cyanogenmod 10.2 installed already and rooted. Then CM11 nightlies came and I installed it OTA but it seems that it has a lot of bugs so I rolled back to CM10. When I rolled back and rebooted, it does not come up (Google and Cyanogenmod logo only). I rebooted it to bootload mode, then recovery (TWRP) and accidentally wiped out everything including ROM/OS. I don't have that much knowledge in restoring my phone. I tried connecting it to PC (WinXP) and it does not recognize the device. Tried everything posted in different forums on how to connect my device to PC but to no avail. Cannot do USB debugging thing 'cause I can only utilize device's recovery mode (TWRP). I'm thinking now on having this device repaired by cellphone repair shop just to install OS.Anyone can help? Other forums look like too technical for me. Noob here, really.
Hi I've just had a quick look, try this

Boot up holding vol down so you are at the android part.
Then attached your phone to your PC and use adb push to push a custom rom or download your source image from google.

Please reinstall drivers using @WugFresh 's Toolkit
And down to default font size please. It does nothing more to oversize this...
Also, you might wanna try out all your USB ports. For me fastboot/adb only works on some ports. Also while trying out the ports keep the device manager window open. This way you can easily see when and more importantly how the computer sees your phone.

Bricked Nexus 7

Hey guys,
a few hours ago I tried flashing the new Ldroid Rom onto my Nexus 7. After flashing the rom my tablet took ages to boot up and after the bootup it said i had to enter a password to encrypt the data (i never set encryption). after entering a random password android reported that the password was right but the data corrupt and i'd have to do a factory reset. after entering twrp i realized that the device couldn't mount anything except system. i wiped/formated everything except system and tried booting into android. this time i was stuck at the google logo. after entering recovery mode again now twrp couldn't mount system and sdcard. so i formated both and now i'm here with an absolutely empty nexus 7. i tried to use adb sideload to flash a new rom but my pc doesn't recognize the device and neither does fastboot. i tried reinstalling adb and fastboot drivers, i used universal drivers, i used drivers from toolkits, i did many many pc and tablet restarts, i reinstalled android sdk several times, i used different adb/fastboot locations, i even tried using a different pc trying the same steps. no change, only thing i get is that the tablet gets recognized by the device manager as an adb/fastboot device, nothing more.
Does anyone of you know a possible sollution for my issue?
Thanks in advance
P.S.: i've been researching the internet for this issue for the past hours and couldn't find any sollutions, so please don't say stuff like "use search function"
P.P.S.: My other devices get recognized without any issues with the same cable.
I would suggest using wugs awesome software you need to make sure all partitions are wiped and repaired to which ever format you are trying to use ext4 or f2fs and through wugs you can flash new ROM through fastboot wigs has save my ass a few times one should not try to do tedious tasks after a long night of drinking hope this helps let me know if ya need more

Alright I used my macbook for adb/fastboot and there it somehow recognized my device and I could use fastboot to do a factory reset. I still don't know why two independent windows systems did not recognize my Nexus 7 but I got it fixed. Anyways thanks to everyone who tried to help me in this thread!
