i guess you are using poweramp or other music player. im guessing your problem is the overlaping of clock widget and missing of some things from the music player widget . either you have to contact the developers of the app or wait till they update the app to support 4.4. such things happen all the time when a new android update comes out . developers need time to update their app . so be patient..
a piece of advice : whenever you ask for help , try to explain it a bit more , dont expect people to figure out your problem..

Hello
Thank you advice however I got this problem with all aplication I using in moment when I lock screen and turn on again. I tried to use an any different lockscreen app and is the same result

EDIT: my fault guys! I am so stupid.
I had layered two lock screens in one.
To mods please delete this topic
Kind regards Peter

Thought I might use this thread rather than create a new one. I'm using stock Kit Kat unlocked on a Nexus 5, and when playing music, when the track advances the track name on the lock screen doesn't (this is if the lock screen is on before the track advances, and it advances by reaching the end of a track rather than skipping).
Anyone else seen this or know of a fix?

Clock

The xperia play is a great device and I have alot of fun with it. Its like having any other great phone with a gamepad id have to say tho that obe really annoying flaw is the clock. After being on for a day or two the clock glitches and doesnt update properly. My guess is that the apps cache fills up which keeps it from updating the only way to fix it is to reboot.
My question is, is there a better clock app or a way to stop the clock from doing this ? Maybe I should just restart my phone everyday lol

I had this exact same issue... and I've seen other posts on it as well. What seems (to me) to be happening is it's getting unloaded from memory. I'm not sure how to prevent that, however the problem eventually went away as silently as it appeared.
Very confusing..
Supercharge it? I havnt experienced the issue as I turn my phone off when I sleep but supercharging manages to stop the launcher drawing every 2 mins so might help your issue

I also experienced this. Just deleted the widget and installed Retro Clock Widget. There are plenty more out there which you can choose instead of the preinstalled one.
It is supercharged I dont think the problem went away people just figured it cant be fixed

Lock screen widgets with pattern, anyway to do that?

I have to say that one of the things that I liked most on android 4.2 is lockscreen widgets. But on s4 I only can do that with the swipe to unlock. Does anyone knows if there's a way to make it works with pattern? I'm afraid that is not possible, but ask doesn't hurt. Thanks guys

I was wondering the same thing! The one thing I liked about 4.2 was the ability to take pictures with security turned on.
As of now I don't believe there is a way to make it work. I'm afraid we'll have to wait for Samsung to release a "fix" for it.
I sure hope so
I hope it considered a BUG and not a feature.
anyone get this fixed?
has anyone found an answer to this? I am wondering the same thing.
I think JKay or 3Minit may have incorporated this in to their mods/framework... not 100% sure though.

Getting used to pie controls?

Hey guys,
I really like the pie controls for the larger screen and I would like to keep using them. The problem is that I'm still quite slow using them and now I'm wondering how quickly you permanent users got used to them.
Thanks in advance

It's really fun now with the Pie Controls.... It took me not even a day to get used to it... I'm on it all the time.. Need to turn it off when I'm handing over my N4 to someone else.. and when I'm using the Pie Controls everybody around is like :cyclops::cyclops::good::good:
You'll get used to it very soon... and then stay on it forever..... :good:

pratice makes perfect, still learning myself. I'd suggest try using pie for the tasks/things u do most and turn em off for what you do the least on your Nexus.
Do you guys now how to add the cool clock when the pie shown up? In the pie pro control setting there's an option to add click but it's different (very lame clock) please help me..

I've tried pie on plenty of roms and can't seem to get used to it. Its so damn pretty though.....but It's easier from a functionality standpoint (for me) to decrease the size of my nav bar and make it semi translucent(i do the same with my status bar). I do this because It annoys me to no end when I can't trigger pie and I need to do something, like, right at that moment
I've attached a pic of my home screen so you can see what it looks like. It's pretty close to pie....you can achieve that pie full screen without using pie, just play with your interface settings(nav bar, status bar, I forgot to add that I use a hidden status bar) and get a decent launcher if your Rom doesn't support these tweaks. I use nova prime, I don't think I could live without it lol. If you have any questions on my setup just let me know.

I really don't like pie tbh. It just seems like a novelty to me, and using the navbar will always be quicker imo. That being said, I do like the fact that you can gain more screen real estate with pie by disabling the navbar and using pie for control, and it looks awesome when it is engaged. I guess its all down to personal preference. If pie works for you than use it. :good:
At first I didn't like pie, thought it was too slow and stuff. I test the waters for a week by enabling it by putting nav bar to 0%. Now I'm so used to it im faster with pie than normal navi bar. Its funny cause when I use an iphone or another android i try to enable the pie but its not there. There is one thing that does annoy me. While my screen is locked, pie does not come out
After using them for a day they already feel much more familiar so I think I will stick to them

[Q] Overheating and Launcher issues

Hi
I've noticed that my Nexus 4 has been overheating a lot ever since the 4.3 update. Additionally, whenever I try to rearrange apps on the home screen, I get and error that the Launcher has stopped working.
Has this happened to anybody else, and more importantly, is there a fix? Please help!
Oh and I should mention that my nexus 4 is stock and unrooted.
Thanks
PS: *Unrelated* The Facebook app has started misbehaving and restarts whenever I try to open a conversation. Reinstalling does not fix this problem. If you have a solution, please help.

overheating.. if its not shutting itself down at 100C, then its not overheating. and i highly doubt its reaching 100C. why do you say overheating? does it "feel" hot to you? you do realize that "feel" isnt a way to tell what temperature it is. what temperature does it reach for you to say overheating? cpu temp? battery temp?when most people say "overheating", what they really mean is that they feel the heat through the back glass, which is normal. the phone will get warm as you use it, thats how its supposed to work.
and what launcher are you using?
also, the facebook app has been misbehaving for years, its a known bad app. i uninstalled facebook more than a year and a half ago, and cant be happier. their site is just as good as their app, but their site doesnt misbehave constantly.
