sticker over camera - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a protective sticker over the camera glass I need to peel? The other stickers on my glossy white model were so tight and hard to peel off, it almost seemed they were part of the plastic body. There were no tabs to pull either. Was wondering if the glass over the camera was a sticker or not...

On the VZW model, there is a blue sticker around the lens that comes off.

Glossy-looking film on back of Galaxy S4 GTi9505?

I removed pretty much all the plastic film in front of the phone and from top of the camera lens. But the on the back of the phone, it still looks like a glossy-looking film on there and I dont know whether its still a plastic film on there or is it normal?
I thought I would ask because I dont want to damage the phone thinking that its a plastic film covering it.
If so, then how can I remove it?
I managed to take the small plastic cover that was over the camera lens, but the back of the phone still looks "glossy" to me.
Thanks.
It's a hungreh fingerprint and grease magnet.
It's supposed to be glossy

Then how come it looks and feels if there is still a plastic protective sheet on it?
This is only on the back casing as I already had taken off the protective plastic cover from the front screen.
But the back of the phone feels if there is still a plastic cover on it.

That's because it is plastic. There is no more plastic stickers than what you mentioned...

Is there a sticker at the camera lens?

Guys, Just wanted to know if there is a sticker at the camera lens?
There is no "O" shaped gap around the lens and i tried using my nails to pick up the sticker from the edges but nothing. I read that some people were saying that there is a sticker at the lens. Is there? If so, does it cover the whole lens?

Mine had a rectangular shaped clear sticker with a small circular hole cut in the centre of it, exactly where the lens is.
Has everyone removed their sticker or kept it on?

When I removed the plastic protector covering the backing of my device, this removed the camera lens sticker as well.
I do not understand why samsung likes to make its cameras bulge out the back. i feel i am going to scratch the lens every time i set it down.

So true!
I didn't get my Note 3 with a sticker on it's back camera...
I've bought it from Bell...
Why?
I remove any sticker that attach to my note 3..eventually it will collect dust n later the dust will scratch the camera or note 3 body...

Protective film on rear camera

I may be the only one that did not know this, but I thought that I would mention it just in case. There is a protective film on the Note 4 rear camera. In my case, I did not see it while using the camera for over 2 weeks. The film is hard to peel off because the edges of the film are inside the frame and it is very hard to get your fingernail under it. I was not really sure if the film was there or not. I tilted the back so that the light glare was shown. I noticed that the surface of the camera was not shiny and there were tiny scratches on it. After picking at it with my fingernail, it finally peeled off and all is well.
It has a hole in it so it doesn't actually cover the lens. I'm not sure what purpose it serves, but I've left mine in place.
Yes, I see it now. Obviously does not affect picture quality. I had peeled all the other film off the camera so this is just the last.
Is there a place where we can order replacement film?
I just left mine there. No idea what its for.
That little guy...
It's there to protect the camera lens. You can keep it on since it doesn't interfere with the lens but it's intended to be removed like the rest of the protective film.
Lol. This has been on every Galaxy phone I've bought. It's just the shipping plastic like around the sides of the phone lmao ? ? ?

How to remove scratches from rear panel?

I screwed up out of fear and bought a cheap plastic cover. The case ended up the grayish stripes on the black metal back (ones above the camera).
How to remove those scratches?
Buy a new phone? If they are really scratches there's nothing you can really do.
U serious?
It's what 0xTJ says, if it are really scratches nothing you can do about it

Reinforced battery back door

Hi.
I have cracked the rear battery glass cover again on my S8. Its the forth time it happens. And I don't know why.
I have bought genuine battery glass covers from ebay. But it doesn't hold long before the glass cracks again.
Does anyone know if there is an reinforced (maybe aluminium or carbon)?
(Sorry for my bad english)
try putting a skin on it. https://dbrand.com/shop/samsung-galaxy-s8-skins they look nice and should work like a screen protector on it.
Make sure you are taking off the foam part of the sticky part they put on it. The glass should fit flush against the back with the thin thin layer of adhesive they put. My mistake and I cracked the first one because it flexed.

What foam? I only took plastic of the adhesive tape that was already applied on the cover. Then placed the cover on the phone
