[Q] Can't install Frankenclean 2.8nv

Hello all,
I'm having trouble flashing frankenclean 2.8nv. it gets part way through copying files and ends with: E:Can't chown/mod /system/ (Too many open files) E: Failure at line 294: installation aborted. I'm currently on 2.5nv, but I am unable to flash 2.6 or 2.8. I'm using CwM Voodoo Lagfix Recovery v2.5.1.x Red. I can restore to my last backup, but can't flash anything new.
Anyone have any suggestions or tips to get 2.8 flashed?

Yea I done a Task 29, clean cache, wipe data. Then done a fresh install but got this message for every app I wanted to install. Have no idea how to fix this?
I fixed my P780 with the parsing package error
I had a ROW rom S228 and flashed a CN one. I couldn't restore any of my apps or system with the parsing package error.
Upgrading in the latest Version of SuperSU, apply the security fix that was prompt in the TWRP after installation of SuperSU zip, and disable "Mount namespace seperation" inside SuperSU settings did the trick for me.

HELP! replaced screen, phone stuck on bootscreen

When booting into recovery, if I try to backup or restore a rom, I get a /data error. Presumably I haven't reconneted something properly?
Which connection would be loose?
Edit: I get an error while restorting libmxystemdec.9.iso

In terms of dismantling the phone, I had to remove everything in order to install the new screen and digitser.
In terms of recovery, I tried to do a backup and that failed because it couldn't back up to /data partition.
I then did a full wipe and tried to restore another backup, but that failed because it couldn't write to the /data partition

Recovery error.. "E:Error opening..."

Don't know how I did this but I'm having an error in Recovery...comes up as
E:error opening '/data/data/com/instagram.andro
E:error: I/O error
This error is preventing me from restoring backups (they fail)..
Its also kept me from clean installing a new ROM (Rom will boot but I get the process stopped pop-up message repeatedly)...
I've done a total wipe of everything except for internal storage.. but the results are the same. Any help or insight would be appreciated. ***Error also occurs after wipe*** But wipe is "successful"
TIA
Got this issue sorted last night. Apparently, TWRP does a poor job of wiping so I had to switch to Philz recovery and wipe in order to remove that pesky error. From there I was able to perform a clean install of a new ROM, use Freegee to install TWRP and finally load one of my backups.
New issue...
Tap to wake no longer works ...
Any help for the new problem?

"unable to mount /system" in TWRP

Hello, I was trying to install ROM Arcatarc's EMUmIZERO SUPERLEGGERA. I installed TWRP v2.8.2.0, I did backup of all my data and system, wiped it and tried to install that ROM, but always got message "unable to mount /system". So I tried to restore my backup, but always ended with same message "unable to mount /system". I got this message when I do pretty much everything. Now I have no system and cannot use my phone. Please help.
Place it first with ROOTJOY restores. Then TWRP and play the backup back.

When I use twrp (gt i8262) to install any custom rom,it shows "unable to mount "system.
Plz help
