Sane with my nexus 7 2012 version. Download verification failed twice. Now its been over 20 hours where the tablet is stuck on the retry download screen. Does anyone know how to resolve this ?

One of the first thread in general section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2145848

I'm having exactly the same problem. Pressing retry doesn't do anything!

Looks like we are all waiting until the next batch of updates roll out. Two options from here, wait patiently for the update to appear again, or install it manually.
I'm not really one for waiting so this could be painful haha

Same problem. What are you guys planning to do?

Mine downloaded the whole file and then failed. So close yet so far!

Change the date and try again. I switched to manual date and time, advanced a month and hit retry and downloaded perfectly! hope this works for others

Ah. I just sideloaded it. Couldn't really wait.

Created an account to thank you, method worked perfectly.

I have a similar problem. I have a Nexus 4 bought in the UK, and being used in India. Completely stock, no root or boot unlock. I got the 4.3 OTA update without a hitch in India.
I got the notification for 4.4 OTA a few days ago. But the device just downloads the 238.9 MB update again and again and says "verification failed" each time. After downloading a few times, it stops for the day and says "couldn't download" as the OP says.
This process is eating up my battery and wifi data. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could the update be failing because I'm in the wrong country?
Thanks

google "nexus 4 factory images"
it'll take you to the official download page from google. Download the file, extract, and run the batchfile.

I got the OTA. I simply installed TunnelBear (VPN with monthly 500MB free), chose the UK server option, and waited. Either it worked or Google fixed their update system at the same time.

what he said.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967953
i did it for you.. and YES when you update your colors will change, its intentional
I am in the same situation and the point is not how to manually update but that most other Nexus S owner did get the 2.3.1 -> 2.3.2 update automatically very quickly (3 weeks ago at least).
I would like to understand how come we do not have the updates. I know the deployment is done according to IMEI but the 2.3.2 update should be here for us...
If anyone has some clue, I take it.
Thanks
Louis

after the phone updates and boots DO NOT REBOOT AGAIN!!! connect your phone via usb and run the command 'adb logcat'
post it here and we'll get the link extracted from it.
I got it, it makes my phone look clean

Well, how can I run "adb logcat"? sorry MONSTER NOOB
Is the performance any better?
Ditto to the above. I'm currently updating, just excited to see if there have been lag/battery enhancements.
Got it about 4 hours back.. it was a pleasant surprise.
Feels much smoother.
Also I don't lose all my widgets after a restart. Yay.
Is it just me? Apps on SD seem to have disappeared from the drawer...
I had to 'crash' the drawer and then let it reload... weird
davyu: They were missing for me too at first but after few minutes they reappeared. Most likely because update clears some cache and Nexus has to reload it again.
Google now runs SMOOTHLY now, OMG
Problem
Just received the OTA 4.1.2 in FRance, but after install my pnexus dones'nt want to boot and stay blocked on the blinking logo

Can someone screenshot their build version etc?
damn it!
Ota did download. Asked to reboot then ClockworkMod 6.0.1.1 appeared and started the update by itself.
Then I saw something terrifying
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
My Tab model is N8010 and is rooted. I'm still on the 4.0.4 samsung firmware. Any Idea about how I can flash the new downloaded update?

I had the same issue. I ended up updating via Kies and it works perfectly fine. I also read you can flash the stock recovery back and then you can update OTA, but being an Android noob, I wasn't completely sure how to do that, so I used Kies instead

This guide works (method 2):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831152
It doesn't mention it working for 4.1.2, but it does
Is there any difference to update on kies or ota?
The PDF import issue is fixed but now Polaris Office doesn't run at all. Anyone else experiencing this? The version is 4.0.5002.33. Clearing app data does not help.
note 10.1 Canadian jb update
Can someone post this up?
I have the german one. But I want switch to Canadian JB

Anyone managed to pull the download from KIES?
I tried to extract it but I can't get Kies to install the firmware, it just return a weird error with korean character (I think it's korean since it appears as white square on my screen (font issue))
Edit: Nevermind, got it... I'll try to get it uploaded somewhere.

[Q] Can't seem to get the update.. any reason why?

I'm currently on I337UCUAMDB.. trying to get the update first then root after. For some reason, every time I try to access software update, I get this message.
"Software Update Interrupted. No update is available for your device at this time. Please try again in 24 hours."
Any ideas? I've tried on a friend's phone and he also gets the same message. AT&T carrier.
U will have to go back to stock ROM through Odin..I had the same message had to deroot and return my phone to stock then up date through Kies ...hope that helps...

its stock.. i literally just took it out of the box. same with my friend, he got his yesterday.. and we both keep getting this error.. we've tried to push the date forward to try the update again, and each time, it is the same error message.
So my buddy pushed the date forward again, tried the update again, and this time it said "Software is up to date."
i am lost now.
Someone else posted that they had to have ATT push the update to them. I'm wondering if ATT is already pulling that update and preparing a patched one.

can you link me to that? did they just call customer service and ask for the update? from reading, I see that the update fixed a bit of the lag issues people had. I'd like to get that update first before rooting. thanks!

It didn't work for me. Anyone else tried it yet? I've been trying to update my at&t moto x but the phone keeps telling me an update is already in progress or something. Been like that for 3 days since I got it! When I tried to flash this via stock recovery I got an error saying I already have this version or something along those lines. The version I have right now is 1.39. trying to update to 1.40. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
You may have to factory reset and try again if that doesn't work you will have to sbf.

I had the same problem. After 4 days and several phone calls to motorola, I finally got level two to escalate me to level three support. They do not accept calls, but they did call me back within 24 hours. The rep was able to push the update to my phone and it finally updated. I suggest you call moto and ask to be bumped to level three right away. The CSRs at level two try to help but with me they could not do anything except suggest a factor reset.
