For some reason my bluetooth is not staying on. It comes on connects to gear then turns off immediately. I loaded Hyperdrive ROM on slot 1 then Beans ROM this morning on Slot 2 to check them out. Then just earlier I went back to my stock slot. I removed Hyperdrive earlier today and was going to stick with Beans on slot 2. I've been trying to connect my gear this afternoon but bluetooth will not stay connected for nothing. Any ideas? I've un-installed both slot 1 and slot 2 now and even then on stock ROM slot it still will not connect. Could it be possible that deleting something or maybe I screwed up something in SS. This is my first time to use it and once I installed I did do a nandroid. I've tried to install the backup to one of my slots and still have the same bluetooth issue.
Edit: I thought it was connecting to my gear but nope....notta!

Hi
My problem is that Mobile AP has stopped working. I have never had any problem with it before, but after the last re-flash, I cant get it to work.
I am back on stock Samsung 2.3.4, radio JVQ and a kernel Semaphore_JVQ_1.3.0 (with root).
When I enable the mobile AP, I can see a brief message "Turning on..." immediately followed by "Error" as service status. I should mention that normal Wifi access works without any problems whatsoever. It is only the Mobile AP that has gone crazy. Maybe it is connected to the specific kernel, so I will also try in the kernel specific thread.
Any helpful hints are most welcome!

No, the AP settings are fine. Mobile networking and wifi works as it should. But I found the source of the problem. The Semaphore kernel that I installed have issues with Tethering. The dev has supplied a script for net_filter that have to be added to the startup directory. Too much hassle for me right now, so I switched to another kernel (Speedmod), which is amazingly easy compared to installed an init script, and now tethering works again.
Hey guys...
Two days ago i formatted my device from wanamlite 2.0 to stock 4.2.2 (israel version ILO).
Before formatting tethering was working alright. And yesterday i tried to use tethering again but it did not work. I mean, i can turn it on, get a notification that all is well, and find it through the PC. Connct to it through the PC but thn it says "no internet access".
Needless to say, my phone does connect to the internet and all seems normal.
I tried wiping data through the recovery but it didnt help.
Hope you guys can help. I'd be grateful.
Thanks in advance
Alon

Hi.
I updated to kit kat recently and found that my screen rotation had stopped working. I installed kit kit as a fresh install and have also tried factory reseting my phone. Last night I performed the gyrotest in diagnostic via *#0*# and it passes.
I have also tried removing the battery and sim card numerous times but to no avail.
Any help would be great!

As the header states, after rooting 4.3 and installing safestrap recovery, I decided to flash pre rooted 4.4.2, since I didn't want to loose camera features when going with GPE based roms. Well, my WiFi stops working after a few days, and won't start unless I do factory reset.
On top of that bluetooth, when connected to a speaker or a car audio skips transmission a few seconds at a time notoriously. Any thoughts/ideas?

My buddy got this phone for his gf so that she could use it overseas. The phone was in bad shape when he got it and I was able to to flash a custom rom Phonesis and it seemed to work fine. Out of the blue, the wifi and bluetooth stopped responding. So I now have this phone again and I am about ready to toss it.
I restored to factory using Kies 3.2. When it rebooted, the soft keys did not work. I installed the idlekernal for canadian models using Odin and that fixed that. Soft keys now work. Camera is not working. Wifi will not turn on. If it does, it sees my networks but will not allow it to connect. Bluetooth does the same thing.
I am not sure what I am missing as the phone has been restored twice and I have cleared the cache, reset everything and rebooted.
Does anyone have any recommendations or can recommend a working recovery and rom that will let her use the camera and wifi.
Flash correct stock rom through Odin.
