Hi
My Note 3 boots to stock touchwiz but then apps crashes and after about 30 seconds it reboots.
I have Odin success reflashed with multiple firmwares and also with repartition checked and also went into stock recovery and did data factory reset but nothing helps.
How do I clean reinstall my phone from scratch in the most primitive way?
Thanks for any suggestions!
/Cazrack
You never re-partition in ODIN without the .pit file... Fastest way to a brick I know....

Hi
I have downloaded firmwares from sammobile but it doesnt change the result of the odin flash.

Same here. I have Foxhound Diamond Dogs 3.6 and want to upgrade to the new 4.4 version. Getting the exact same error message that OP posted.
First time I post something useful and cant get help.
Since we are on our own, to those following the post.
Can you post...
Root procedure you used?
If you restored a back up, and are still facing the same issue?
what your "About Phone" reads under baseband after flashing a modem.
and if were all on carriers in US trying to flash a rom meant for international devices...<---this may be my issue.
Can you flash other KitKat roms?
"I flashed the Google KitKat edition, and it worked fine for a day. Rebooted my phone, started getting FC's by the second."
But yeah please just go through what you have done with your phone and the outcomes before this issue arose for you.
Some peer to peer research may extract the data we need to figure this fiddle-stick out.
I'm having the same issue on my Galaxy S4 Active with a locked bootloader. My IMEI got corrupted after an update. I'm trying to reflash the modem to fix the issue, but I can't get past the fail. Any solutions to this yet?

I wonder if I'm using correct modem. I tried searching this forum and google, but didn't manage the find the correct ones.

try this mate Make sure to turn off Manually your phone "Press power button and Power off" because it wont work if your doing Press power >Restart >Reboot option >Download !
Untick Autoreboot
Flash modem by slecting Phone/cp
Reboot once again into Download Mode using (Power+Vol Down button combi)
Flash Modem once more
Once done, unplug then reboot device manually.
If this doesn't work, try repeating the flash process again while rebooting manually and with auto-reboot option turned off.
I made this three times. For the 4th time I couldn't get to download mode, maybe I mispressed the buttons but, not sure...
Then I rebooted and checked *#1234# and THERE IT IS: XXUEML6!
I also tried to lock and unlock phone, and the H+ connection stays. I also tested with Signal Reset application which makes notification sound when there's signall loss.
Thank you Repulsa!

This topic helped me also.
I had the same problem with the signal loss on several ROMs. When phone screen is on, I have HSDPA/HSDPA+ signal, but when screen goes off, and you turn in again - there's no signal anymore. I had to go to network settings to choose network again, and it works... ... till screen is on.
I temporally fixed problem when I turned on GSM signal only.
With this solution, I have permanently fixed my problem.
Thanks!
I have the official rom by Samsung based on Android 4.3:
AP: I9505XXUEMJ7
CP: I9505XXUEMJ7
CSC: I9505ITVEMJ8
And I have the same issues about connection lost... Can I install a better modem without losing warranty? Or can I do something else to avoid this issue?
Thanks.

I have rooted and successfully flashed custom recovery and custom firmwares on my Note 3 (9005 Qualcomm LTE), however the last flash (stock ROM 4.4.2 N9005XXUENB4) attempt with Odin (v 3) failed at the end of the flash process ( hidden.img.ext4 -> FAIL! (ext4)):

Can somebody help or advise me?:crying::crying:

This is possible coz the firmware you have installed (maybe you upgrade your bootloader flashing that custom roms) is newer that the one you are trying to flash.

Are you using a branded device? Where is your device from? Do you know the CSC of your device?
Go to Sammobile.com and take a look the firmwares GNI4. Download and flash it. Done.

T-mobile of what country?
Hi,
I'm looking for some help/confirmation in regards to down grading a Samsung Galaxy Edge 7.
Current phone details:
SM-G935F
Android version 8.0
Kernel version 3.18.91-13895453-QB20061915
Build Number: R16NW.G935FXXS3ERJ4
Android Security patch: 1/10/2018
Carrier: O2
Tried to Install:
Country / Region: United Kingdom (O2)
PDA: G935FXXU1DQL8
Product Code: O2U
CSC: G935FTEF1DQL8
Phone: G935FXXU1DQL8
Where i have got to so far:
1. Installed Samsung USB
2. Downloaded Odin v 3.13
3. Downloaded the firmware I want to downgrade to from updato.com
4. Gone into download mode and tried to use Odin with the firmware.
5. Hit an error
The error on the phone shows "sw rev check fail device 3 binary 1"
The error in Odin is:
Code:
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..
<ID:0/003> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/003> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/003> SingleDownload.
<ID:0/003> sboot.bin
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/003> FAIL!
<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
After some searching and reading Is it a case that the bootloader is now updated so I cant downgrade back?
Thank you
The error in question is because of your updated bootloader. So there is no possibility to install from older stock odin roms. You can only do this through custom roms.
