I made a new Bootanimation based on the Nexus One.
It's modified with a Nexus 5 Logo.
Enjoy!

Is the change from part0 to part1.
On the display it shows almost nothing.
Gif I created with Boot Animation Factory.
Try out the boot animation.
If it's too bad, I can make a new one.
Takes some time ..

Google Nexus 5x's Bootlogo and Bootanimation

Hi everyone! I've modified the google logo on boot from the old one to the new one, and I've ported the Google Nexus 5x bootanimation to the Nexus 5.
Bootlogo is centered as the bootanimation logo is.
There are two version of the bootlogo, the first is with the lockpad visible, the second is with the lockpad not visible.
Google logo at boot with lockpad preview
Google logo at boot without lockpad preview
Bootanimation preview (it will be faster on your phone, this is only a gif)
How to install:
1a. Download the bootlogo (with lock or without lock)
1b. Download the bootanimation
2. Copy them to your SD card
3. Flash via recovery
4. Reboot and enjoy!
Special thanks to bitdomo for his imgdata tool.
Looks great, thanks!
Awesome, thank you! It would be great if you can make a flashable zip of the bootanimation, it's easier than replacing manually everytime I update the ROM. Thanks!

That's nice
Also, if you don't mind, just a suggestion: remove the last 3 frames from part 3, they're just causing a glitch
EDIT: Here is the fixed zip (still not a flashable zip): https://goo.gl/oxpt4r

Thank you! I will make a flashable bootanimation zip this saturday if I can
I've made a flashable zip that installs the fixed bootanimation (there were 3 unusual frames on the third part).
I'm going to work on a unique zip that installs both bootlogo and bootanimation, if there is anyone who can help me, send me a pm
I've re-uploaded the bootanimation zip because of an error in the binary file, now the installation via recovery will work
Thanks!
IT'S SO AMAZING
Thanks you so much! This looks simply beautiful.
It works, and it's amazingly seamless.
Loving these.
Does anyone know if I can flash on Nexus 7 2013 (Flo)?
I assume not due to the difference in screen resolution, if so would it be possible/difficult to edit?
Working pretty nice in last official M image, thank you!

I don't know why a boot animation for the N5 wouldn't work for the N7. As the N7 screen is 1200x1920, you'll have black bars, 60 pixels wide, on the east/west sides of the screen. It probably won't be noticeable, unless you run a full screen animation with a bright background.
Can I request for a 480p version?

Try this! This is just a marshmallow theme, not an actual 6.0 ROM. And for the boot animation, the boot animation files are located in system/media (qmg format). You can find custom qmg bootanimations somewhere.
i know it's so late , but i search for this if u find a way

Note 3 Lite BIOS Bootanimation [N7505]

Hi guys, I've saw a lot of bootanimations and really liked the bios style ones. I've based my own on @NFS_FM 's Z1 bootanim which itself is based on @LorDestinY 's tutorial.
I've put a preview of the bootanimation bellow
For this bootanimation to work you need to flash this (choose lollipop) to enable zip bootanimations to work on our beloved note 3 lite. I've personnaly tested it on the N7505POUDPB1 firmware and can confirm it working.
To install my bootanimation, just put the zip in /system/media and set its permission to 644 (as in the attachement bellow).
Tell me what you guys think of it
Is there any way to change the device name diaplayed during boot?

Yea, you can put whatever you want, you just have to edit the pictures one by one to show your desired device name, if you need help, I have linked the tutorial I used in the thread
I mean not the bootanimation but the device name itself.Like for example can I change it to Samsung Galaxy Note 7?

[BOOTANIMATION] Google Pixel 2 Bootanimation & IMGDATA

Hi,
Google Pixel 2 is another Google device which has amazing features and we want to make our phone look like Google Pixel 2 and this is the reason XDA Senior member @Rishi2906 was able to get a flashable file which allows the users to enjoy Google Pixel 2 Bootanimation on any Android phone. Huge thanks to him for bringing up this boot animation.
We have another member @Newmanl who was able to bring up Google Pixel Bootanimation and imgdata for our Nexus 5.
Google Pixel 2 has the same imgdata file but different boot animation and I thought to merge both the projects so that we can enjoy Google Pixel 2 boot animation and img data on our beloved Nexus 5.
I have tested this zip file on Google Nexus 5 running Android Oreo 8.0 Unlegacy ROM. I think it will work fine on Nougat.
Download: Download Google Pixel 2 Bootanimation (White)
Disclaimer-
Code:
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE BECAUSE OF THIS ZIP. DONT COME TO ME IF YOU BREAK YOUR DEVICE.
Installation Instruction:
1. Copy zip file to internal storage
2. Boot into recovery
2.1 (If you want make a backup, just in case)
3. Flash zip via recovery
4 Continue to Start system.
I will try to add black version soon. I will also try to add new features in this zip file.
Thank You @Xaif
