@Dr.Pepper ... if you have a kernel in which SElinux is set to permissive in Android 5.0 , flashify will work , its been discussed in the forums already . There's an app which changes the mode from forcing to permissive , use that & flashify will work .

Hey OP, thanks for this one, it's really great. I made a flashable zip to give my contribution. I did test it personally, it works perfectly for me. Nonetheless I do not take any responsibility whatsoever. However, worst case scenario, it won't install, nothing dangerous is in play. Feel free to use it as you please.

Is it possible to just provide the theme file so that I can add to any version of twrp that comes out (you know, just dump into theme folder in twrp on SD card rather than flashing whole twrp)? Or is it themed beyond just the theme file?
Thanks for this, looks great.

Hi everyone! I've modified the google logo on boot from the old one to the new one, and I've ported the Google Nexus 5x bootanimation to the Nexus 5.
Bootlogo is centered as the bootanimation logo is.
There are two version of the bootlogo, the first is with the lockpad visible, the second is with the lockpad not visible.
Google logo at boot with lockpad preview
Google logo at boot without lockpad preview
Bootanimation preview (it will be faster on your phone, this is only a gif)
How to install:
1a. Download the bootlogo (with lock or without lock)
1b. Download the bootanimation
2. Copy them to your SD card
3. Flash via recovery
4. Reboot and enjoy!
Special thanks to bitdomo for his imgdata tool.
Looks great, thanks!
Awesome, thank you! It would be great if you can make a flashable zip of the bootanimation, it's easier than replacing manually everytime I update the ROM. Thanks!

Also, if you don't mind, just a suggestion: remove the last 3 frames from part 3, they're just causing a glitch
EDIT: Here is the fixed zip (still not a flashable zip): https://goo.gl/oxpt4r

Thank you! I will make a flashable bootanimation zip this saturday if I can
I've made a flashable zip that installs the fixed bootanimation (there were 3 unusual frames on the third part).
I'm going to work on a unique zip that installs both bootlogo and bootanimation, if there is anyone who can help me, send me a pm
I've re-uploaded the bootanimation zip because of an error in the binary file, now the installation via recovery will work
Thanks!
IT'S SO AMAZING
Thanks you so much! This looks simply beautiful.
It works, and it's amazingly seamless.
Loving these.
Does anyone know if I can flash on Nexus 7 2013 (Flo)?
I assume not due to the difference in screen resolution, if so would it be possible/difficult to edit?
Working pretty nice in last official M image, thank you!

I don't know why a boot animation for the N5 wouldn't work for the N7. As the N7 screen is 1200x1920, you'll have black bars, 60 pixels wide, on the east/west sides of the screen. It probably won't be noticeable, unless you run a full screen animation with a bright background.

hi there
I just want to share my experience with the preview
and I hope everyone share their experiences with other
info
nexus 6
build NCP56P
and root using phh img187 nocrypt
the build is very stable
and could easily be daily driver
very smooth and fast
some bugs I noticed are
1- some apps tell you that there is missing libraries but most of them work
2- the battery percentage don't stick with reboot
3- some visual glitches
4- you can't turn off data from setting but you can from notification
I will post if I see any other things
Overall the build is very good considering that it is an alpha
Can you tell me how you flash the 187nocrypt img
Someone tested layers ?. Does it work ?

I am running the Android N preview stock on my N6.
As previously stated some apps complain about missing libraries.
I use BatteryBot Pro and to get the battery % to show up in the status bar I had to change the "Main Notification Priority" to default in the BatteryBot settings.
Skype does not work for me.
Agenda Widget Plus crashes, but the dev for that app hasn't updated it since 2013.
I am running non-rooted, stock.
I flashed the preview and did not use the OTA method.
Thx i dont know that my universal adb deleted from my pc and also didnt remember that i should put my device into bootloader thx

My biggest issue is that, while using Textra, all MMS options are gone. That means no emoji or GIFs. The only thing that comes up is the timed message dialog. I emailed the developer and they said it's a Google bug. Other than that, N is smoother than Chroma, and looks way better. I love the notification shade animation.
Credits to @LlabTooFeR for leaking those wonderful apps!
This is my first time creating a thread on this section as I am posting my contributions on the Dev's ROM thread directly.
