I recently received my N7 back from Asus due to warranty. The N7 that I received had 4.1 on it, I went to the system updates and downloaded/installed 4.2, but when my tablet reboots back up after the install it's still on 4.1. Any idea why? I've tried downloading/reinstall 4.2 twice with the same results.

When did krt16s appear on Googles Dev site
Becuz because I have to do to 4.4 about 5 or 6 days ago I haven't done any update since but when I look at my build number it says it is krt16s. Is it possible that's it updated without me knowing
Thnx

No, it can not update without you knowing. You could however just have an older version, since they updated the 4.4 image in the past couple of days.

I'm too lazy to backup & unroot & back to stock to get 1.7mb of OTA... Should I just ignore this one?
It seems to be trivial enough.. 1.7mb?

I am, At least until I see reports of the N7 shooting flames out of its tail pipes and burning rubber from the new update.
4.4.2 alraedy?
I just got 4.4.2 update download as well, didn't even receive the 4.4.1 notice yet. Won't install for now, will wait for Franco kernel to be updated as well as bionic/dalvik patches.

Haven't even gotten 4.4.1 yet, still on 4.4. What's the speed of this rolling out. I know it's based on serial numbers, but folks already getting 4.4.2 while some of us haven't even gotten 4.4.1.
Has anyone tried OTA Survival Mode yet with recent (1.55 and above if I am correct) SuperSu Pro? I read about succesful updates from 4.3 to 4.4 and 4.4 to 4.4.1 with our device while keeping root, but also about soft-bricked devices. Would make life easier if it works because I have stock recovery and wouldn't need to temporaryly adb load TWRP via Usb every time after OTA to reroot.

I never saw 4.4.1 but 4.4.2 is installing right now. First I was aware that there was a 4.4.2.
I got it OTA. No difference at all. Except the keyboard noise now sounds like a kids toy.
Edit: After using it a bit I think video performance is a lot better, seems more stable. And YouTube now works properly for me.
just got mine it was 58mb
(i didn't receive the 4.4.1 ota update)

OTA updates are always slow. If you want 4.4.2 now; download the image file and flash it via fastboot. Make sure to back up all your files to a computer.

It won't update anyway. You can't apply a Google ota over cm
