I'm trying to make a good FTP with the biggest list of software for PPC available in just one single place if someone want to contribute it is welcome to send me some more good software to include please be sure that all files includes credits and read me files if needed and all the files needed to get the software working right. All the software up today I have personally tested in My Sprint Mogul PPC 6800 and works really nice...

Every one now can upload please note that the FTP has 2 folder and one is called Upload before upload please select the upload file and the upload to that folder please do not upload the the HTC mod because that is my personal backup too thanks and Happy upload and Download...
I have seen that people started to upload some nice files Thanks everyone for the support... and helping me to make a all in one stop to have all applications we all want for ours PPC
NOTE: Please Don't Upload Warez The main idea it is to have people that is developing software and need Beta testers or any nice Freeware application Thanks....

i have tried to download a couple of files and they tell me i need a password. not sure why when i uploaded files it did not ask for a password. so im not sure whats going on but i would like to say that i was the one who posted among other things the vga htc album and the one with a folder option. but i am not uploading anymore files if i am unable to download files

To my friend irus I'm very Sorry about the password my mistake in the rights at the FTP now I solved the problem please re tray downloading!.... and for Esfrost I'm not all the time in my PC I have family a Job and many things to do that is why I made a space for everyone to share I cant control fully what people upload but if you don like it don't use It or I will close it if it is a big problem!

i depend too much on the email auto complete on my pc. is there a way to transfer the autocomplete to my pocket pc. adding eveybody to contacts is stupid and not practical
if there is no easy way to do that, then i believe its a good idea for someone to develop an application to do that.
no, as outlook 2003/2007 rely on an outlook.nk2 file in your windows profile for the autocomplete addresses, essentially an outlook addresses cache, where as windows mobile references its autocomplete right from your contacts list, without a proprietary cache file.
from everything i have seen in Windows, the .nk2 file is not etiable, or readable in any editor, so the options of importing it into WM seems remote.

- my pocket pcs does auto complete for addresses that i have used before they dont have to be in contact
-there are tool that can edit the outlook.nk2 from NIRsoft(lol) http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/outlook_nk2_autocomplete.html
how hard can it be to simply add the email adresses from the nk2 to the word auto complete in the ppc

i have over 1000 entries in my PC outlook autocomplete cache(as the nk2 tool shows)
i want to make use of these entries on my pocket pc. i always find myself in a position where i have wait untill im in the office to send an email because i dont have the address in my contacts. i really hate adding contacts that i will not constantly use as they tend to slow the system and make searching harder.

actually the software linked above can create a text file with all the entries. whats left it to feed this file to the ppc auto complete. anybody willing to help with that?

jeez, are you really a moron???
You must be if you rely on the .nk2 file for your auto complete. That is one of the quickest files to get corrupted on windows. So much so that windows will automatically delete it if it does become corrupt. It was never ment to be a feature, just a conveince. That is about as stupid as buying a 1tb hdd and never backing up.

in the first post i asked if someone was willing to develop a small utility (in my second reply i asked to transfer this if the mod thought it was in the wrong place) . i got trashed because part of my original request "sounded like a question" i think your all are making a big fuss over nothing. almost non of the replies is usuful up till now.

I got mine from the rc thread as I'm a rc
You can create your own in any photo program from paint to photoshop
All it is is a picture - download any picture you want to use or search xda for banner threads save the picture by right clicking on it & save image as - then upload it through your account settings
Just create your own picture using a software. Marcussmith2626 suggested you Paint or Adobe Photoshop. I suggest you using Adobe Photoshop. Search Google how to use Photoshop in case you do not know. Anyway, it's your choice
Hi all, I'm attempting to modify/fix someone else's app. The app is a forum reader. It used to be on the Play store, but has now been removed.
I still use it, but it doesn't work properly. I'd like to fix it to continue using it. This is for my personal use only.
Basically, I can reply to threads/make new posts, but I can't create new threads. (There is other stuff I'd like to change as well).
Could anyone help? I won't attach the app here now, I'm not sure if I can post it, as the app doesn't belong to me. (Can anyone confirm?)

You can post the app as long as its not a paid for application (posting paid apps is warez).
As for modifying/fixing it though, you'd have to use apktool to edit it and even then you wouldn't be able to work in java, it would be in smali which is a pain in the ass to work with.

I'm using Virtuous Ten Studio to edit the app.
My main issue is creating new threads. In the app I have this;

The forum uses the same command to post new threads, where the * is the sub-forum number.
I think the above string is correct, so I'm assuming the code is wrong elsewhere?
