Text adventure game for T-Mobile MDA Vario

Hi
Does anyone know of a text only adventure game for the MDA Vario ?
Also I cant sync it with my pc so it will have to be in the format I can just extract on the MDA.

Try NetHack for PocketPC
Try nethack if you remember this one. It's a text adventure game.

Your best bet is to download an Infocom games interpreter (called a "Z-Machine", google it) and the relevant gamefiles. Then it's a matter of tastes, but you probably want to start with "Wishbringer".

Here it is..emulator (copy it to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs) and a game file (Zork I) which you can place in My Docs or in some subfolder of MyDoc.

Ok Guys i just joined the X1 club! my diamond has met its new owner on ebay
Anyway thought id post a load of cab files and tweak i collected from the Diamond section for new users or just for ease of finding, on this relatively new section. Anyway NO credit goes to me at all this is all work collected from here or elsewhere - credit to them:
il upload a few everyday, maybe others can upload some too

This is great and much appreciated as it seems like there are loads more tweaks for the Diamond at this point than Xperia specific. I was wondering if you could possibly add a 1 line quick summary of what each cab does. I know the file names provide some clues but a little more color would be much appreciated. Thanks again for starting this thread.

save as first last doesnt seem to be working..i make a new contacty "bob jones" its saved as j"Jones, bob." i highlight it. click save as first last...its still "jones, bob." am i missing something? if im not and its simply not working..how do i undo this cab? ;p

Free Software upload space!! without rapidshare!!

I think we dont realy want the wait time of 30/40 seconds for each cab/exe/zip file.
So i made an site for it, you can upload, download, and place news.
i hope you all like it, and i hope you all will use it much.
My site will be free, and also only for PDA-Software.
also roms may be uploaded there!!
so i'll post my site here, i hope you'll register on it, and upload your cabs/exe/msi.

thats why i want everyone to upload there software, all at the same place, then its not only one or two pieces of software on 1 time registering.

there are many users who will just want to download 1 or 2 pieces of software from here

My question is who gave you the right to upload other members work?????? The gears theme is mine I can speak for it and I would Imagine the other artist are not to happy either. Why dont you post links to the work instead of uploading theme to rapidshare?? I'm asking you now to remove the gears theme and show a little respect for the ones that spent countless hours on these themes. I mean you don't even give credit to the artist at all. Try to be respectfull.

I understand and agree. I have been looking for the single file theme solution files that he talks about. It would be nice if this thread was dedicated completely to single theme files because it is impossible to find those in the massive threads (if they are even there). It would be much easier to use these instead of having to move multiple files and what not.

I understand your intent and I agree with you on the fact that it needs to be explained how to arrange the files. But there are other ways to do this.
You got the gears theme from www.skinzone.org if you read the first page it states any thing you download is for your personal use only not for redistribution. Again I ask please remove my theme.

i would like to add something to this.
first, as a part of skinzone.org myself there are a ton of posts there on a program called s2u2c which allows you to download numerous parts, and creat one theme.
secondly i can vouche for holdem when i say he will gladly make a cab file for quick and easy install.
the biggest complain we have (where holdem is coming from) is our work is all over without credits given. and thats where all of us get ticked.

actually, it wasnt made wrong.. it was made for an older version of s2u2.
and you need not agree with me. u just simply need to realize you dont own it therefore its immoral to post it under a rapidshare link.

CabCache - All the cabs in one place

Hi peoples,
I have had a windows mobile phone for years, mostly thanks to the support of people on here who have been able to answer virtually every question about tweaks, enhancements etc and therefore stopped me throwing it out of the window. I currently have an HD2 and, again thanks to the people on here, I love it.
The only problem I've had is being able to find the tweaks and CABs without trawling through pages and pages of forum speak.
so, I've created a site call the cabcache.
The idea is to make it easy to find the cabs and tweaks, through a simple search.
it's in its early form as it's going to take me a while to collate all the tweaks and cabs available, but I'm adding more and more every day. If you would like to help me build the site, please get in touch.
I've tried (and will strive to) give credit to everyone who owns the cabs and tweaks. If you see something on the site that isn't giving you the credit you deserve, please get in touch. Similarly, please get in touch if you see one of your offerings that you would like removed.
At the moment, you cannot upload your own cabs (removed due to previous abuse) but this will be re-instated shortly (about a week I think once I've reconfigured the code)
so, if you want to help me out, please PM me, or get in touch through the site.

The only difference is that thread is currently 67 pages, making it difficult to search.
I just wanted to make it easier was all.

If you'd make use of some PHP + a database and integrate rate systems/upload features this could be pretty good.. Then it could also display screenshots, be categorized, reviewed, etc..
You could also make it device-specific categorized. Then you can ask the XdaMarketplace developers to integrate it into their app by creating an API and not only offer apps but also tweaks/sense mods for their phones directly.

Hi , even if you don't add loads of features as mentioned above, which would be great, as it it its very useful as a searchable portal to all the adjustments that can be made. I picked up on one already swype, that I hadn't seen listed thanks for that.

Hi,
I've been getting the emails advising me of the error. The issue seems to be that you haven't entered an email address in the registration form. This is needed so that I can ensure the registration is from an actual person. Your email address is encrypted in the db and is quite secure.

ok..
working again now. Had to get hosting company to reset permissions on the site as for some reason they had reverted to read only, meaning the DB couldn't be written to.

great idea, would be great if this thread is notified of updates as and when they are added as i/we will receive a notification

It would be really useful if there was some way to see which phones the cabs are compatible with. Some clearly don't work with the HD2, though they probably to work with other handsets.
